Worst hotel
They didn't clean our room once in 2 weeks!! we would have to keep going to the front desk to bug for toilet paper and clean towels and they lie to everyone that asks about cleaning and the awful Internet full of cockroachs also but that seems to be a thing in the USA....... I see your response to my review and you have been giving the same response for years you guys don't actually care about the quality of a persons stay just the cash you get.

Stopping over to visit Everglades, big mistake booking this motel, front desk clerk is not friendly, drug activity in parking lot, room smelled terribly of smoke, offered me another room but all this rooms have been smoked in, I mean if you want a decent hotel do not come here you will regret it! Refused to cancel booking and was no apologetic at all so we booked the fairfield inn which is always nice for just a little more. Don't roll the dice on this place if you can help it

Disgusting. Had to switch rooms 4 TIMES because of roaches. There’s also mold, stains and broken lights, im honestly just glad there was no rats. The photos are nothing like the room. I’m disgusted.

The room was dirty. Floor was not swept or mopped. We had dirty feet from walking around the room. Only 2 towels and 2 wash cloths were given for a 3 night stay with 4 guests. The bathroom had hair all over the back of the door, bathtub was dirty, sink had mold, toilet was cracked and patched up. Ac wouldn't stay on. I had to buy clorox wipes and wipe everything down, including the floor. The bedding was stained, the bed skirt had mold on it. Pool closes at 8pm and they dont even let you just sit in the area and relax. lights in pool are both burnt out. One of the staff members was rude, she kept rolling her eyes while I was trying to explain to my husband what she was saying. (She was telling us to leave the pool area) I took pictures of everything and how i left my room when I checked out. All around not worth the money to stay, it may have been cheap, but I definitely got what I paid for. Now let's see if I get my deposit back. I left the room cleaner than I got it.

If I could give this 0/5 stars I would! Do not stay here! Upon arrival I checked in at 6:38pm for my stay. I asked what time the pool would be open until which the receptionist informed me was 9pm. When I entered our room I was met with an overwhelming stench of mildew/mold. Additionally, our air conditioner unit was crusted with filth, there was a large circular stain behind our chair of something red, dirt all over our fridge, the handle of our bathroom door promptly fell off when first attempting to open it, and just general uncleanliness of the entire room. Exhausted from my day I decided to switch into my swimwear and head to the pool in hopes that it may brighten my experience here. It did not. I asked my partner to go grab some extra swim towels from the front desk which he was told they didn’t have any, once we arrived to the pool it was pad locked on both gates. Confused since the receptionist just told us it closed at 9 my partner headed back in to ask if the pool could be unlocked assuming they forgot to unlock it that day. The receptionist said no sorry the maintenance man is gone for the day something is probably wrong with it. The inconsistency with the receptionist became slowly frustrating and with the state of our room we decided at 7:25pm to go down and ask for a refund of our room since it was disgusting and the advertised amenities were unavailable. The receptionist told us no since we were there for over an hour there was nothing she could do since that’s their policy. There is nothing stating on their website that their policy states that. I asked for a manager and she said the manager is gone for two weeks, I said is there anyone else you can contact? She said no and she hasn’t been able to get ahold of the manger that day. I left to gather my things and check out early as I comfortably couldn't stay there. Another woman staying at the hotel saw me in my swimwear and asked if the pool was open which I said no, she said it had been like that all day and apparently they never have it open. When I got back to my room I checked what time I had paid for my room which I realized was 6:38pm at the time and the receptionist had lied to me about being there for over an hour. I walked back down told her I wanted my refund since it hadn’t been an hour and she said well I said it was almost an hour the policy is 30 minute past check in which I responded no you told me 1 hour. Please check me out of my room, I will be emailing management and disputing this with my card company if we can’t come to a resolution. We were not offered a new room, refund or questioned about any of our concerns while staying here except when I arrived back down to check out the receptionist had asked, did you write your email yet? This situation was difficult having someone who was inadequately trained, contradictory, and was unable to communicate effectively; especially since there was no other management available to speak to during this time.Below is photos pictured of our stay which is why I recommend you spend the extra $5 to go down the road to the best western as their hotel was a million times better with adequate staffing.

Rooms are sub par. Pool is a very nice area. Only has one entrance in and out which is difficult to get to.

Really cannot remember when I have stayed at a place of this quality. When the property was new, it was probably pretty nice. But apparently it has not received anything but the absolute minimum of maintenance since then. From a distance, it looks great, but when you get close up, its a different story. The exterior areas were in dire need of a pressure washing. Trash like old pizza boxes in piles near the stairs, just nasty looking all around. The rooms were not as bad as the outside, but still had dilapidated furnishings, and little touches like slow-draining tub, and mold in the corners of the bathroom. But clean otherwise. In desperate need of a deep cleaning. TV interface was dated but usable. Some of the bedding was re-used. Mattress was so soft, I could not sleep. Air conditioner worked very well and not too noisy. Water was hot. Not too much noise from other rooms. Staff was basically polite and helpful. Doors are secure. Breakfast bar was minimal to say the least. Some nearby restaurants, but not walkable. They add on a $50 charge to your credit card to cover things like stolen towels I assume. Supposed to get this back at some time in the future. Seems really tacky. Next time I would rather pay 50 bucks more and go somewhere better.

This was the dirtiest room I've ever stayed in. Hair on all the towels and the side of the tub when I checked in. Black mold on the shower tile, and nothing had been wiped down, including TV, remote, and nightstands. Not to mention, the staff was so rude both when we checked in and when we checked out (2 seperate people). I would rather sleep in the parking lot than stay here again.
