Worst place ever. I waited 30 minutes outside for them to open at 10am. They opened late and when I pulled the car up to ask where I drop off donations. He smirked and looked at his co worked and said "we don't take donations anymore." In the most rude way. Then he mumbled something to him and told us in a rude tone "Ughhhh just drive around back." Which was locked the whole time which is why I couldn't drop clothes in the drop box to begin with. Didn't get a name but it was an older man with white hair. Killed my attitude towards Salvation Army. I took everything to goodwill where there was an older man sounded a little more appreciative for the tons of stuff we donated. Hope this reaches corporate will be trying to reach out to them as well thank you. Terrible employee with a terrible attitude.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I’ve have been coming here for a while and they would have great inventory. Ever since they got under new management the store has become almost depressing. There is now 6 pieces of inventory in there as far as furniture and art pieces since I have been the past month. I am highly disappointed in what has transpired with this new change. Please revert back to how the store was prior.

I usually love Salvation Army and never have any issues, but the manager that runs this store is the worst!!! I'm an avid thrifter and after spending hours searching the store to find just a few items they then refused to sell me my favorite find because of a missing price tag and said it needed to be sent back for processing. This denial of sale makes no sense at all and a new policy needs to be put in place. It is not my fault that the item was missing the tag. I asked for them to give me a price so I could pay and their denial was stern! denial of a sale especially at a donation store makes no sense and is completely unacceptable!!! please rethink this ridiculous policy and allow your cashiers to be Able to charge for things if the tag happens to be missing. Keep making sales and keep customers happy.

Please do not donate in this store, donate in the churches, this store is altering the prices as if it were new, this is a donation store, there are many people in need and they cannot even afford to buy there anymore.

So today I went shopping at this local community Salvation Army store in Florida City! I am a faithful and regular customer who has not only made many purchases over the years but has donated many items most of them brand new with tags still on them. Today I was in line and purchased 4 ladies clothing items, a belt and 3 coffee mugs. A new cashier waited on me at the front check out counter. I used my card and paid. She wrapped my mugs up in paper and that is when she noticed my bag of clothing had disappeared. A witness in the other line told the store employees that the lady in line next to me took my bag and walked out the store. Mind you, I am still at the check out counter. The store manager, Ben and another male employee ran out in the parking lot to try and find her but she had already disappeared. Now the store manager calls the District Office and i am told that they will not refund my money because that is their policy. After telling me that I could file a police report but they have no responsibility to refund my money back, I expressed my disbelief and consternation regarding this situation. Ben, the manager, even stated that he was aware that I’m a regular customer there. Additionally, I told him that not only am I a customer but I have referred many family, friends and my sorority sisters to shop and support The Salvation Army Store(s). I am happy to report that Ben ultimately did the right thing and personally CashApped me my money back from his own account! My message to anyone who shops there, is to always remain vigilant because if something happens you will have no recourse even if you are still at the check out counter or in their store.

Pricing is outrageous. You can't even get good deals from these types of places anymore. It's like they've got a crew of people sitting in the back, researching the value of every item, and then placing the highest price tag on it possible. I thought these were thrift shops? They should call these places " rip shops, " instead of thrift shops..What a joke!

This store has a lot of hidden treasures starting with the shoes and clothes. But it is extremely hot in there, the AC in the store does not work, the bathrooms are disgusting and the fitting rooms are all closed so you have to guess if the clothes will fit to your liking and the cashiers are pervs and a little rude

Sadly, they no longer have any 1/2 off days and they have raised their prices a lot. And they have never opened their fitting rooms back up since Covid. I don't want to pay 12- for a pair of used shorts that I can't even try on! Hardly go in there anymore. Just as bad as goodwill with their inflated prices. I'll just go buy new or do without.

The best thrift store in the area! Great selection of items, especially furniture…very friendly and knowledgeable management and staff! They recently re-organized their inventories and I congratulate them on this effort, as it makes shopping easier. I highly recommend this store at North Krome Avenue. It pays to visit there often, as they continuously receive new donations…especially the furniture goes fast! Their prices are very reasonable…they have days when items are discounted even further, and furniture prices are reduced weekly for those items that don’t sell straight away! Enclosed is a photo of some of the stuff I bought there. Honestly, a great place to buy cool recycled items and help those in need as well ?

Horrible place. People with nasty attitudes that doesn't mind their on business while people are on the phone talking to family members giving personal opinions about the clothes, nothing bad. The guy with the curly hair, heavily tattoos be extra careful with, he's disgustingly rude and nosey as hell. So as I'm shopping and giving my opinion over the phone very low to my cousins about the store because it's my 2nd time shopping there, he wants to butt his two senses which none of us care to hear about. I told him kindly to mind his own business. I walked away, left the cart there with the items. Screw this place. It's horrible. Don't shop here at all.

I’ll proudly rate this place a 1 star not because of the unorganized racks of clothes or the weird smell but because of the countless bad experiences I’ve had with the employee Gloria, She talks so badly to customers and thinks she owns the store. Gloria has made it the reason I barley go anymore and I’ve had so many people tell me she’s just overall a mean person. Recently she has said that if the items don’t have a price she can’t sell them but this isn’t my fault when GLORIA is the one who puts the prices on these items and they’re out on the floor being sold…?
