I made an appointment for an oil change on my Shelby Cobra. The appointment setting and getting was very easy. I showed up, oil was charged and I went home. A few days later I found a few ounces of oil where my car had sat. Long story short, after I took my car to another service center and they found (and showed me) so much oil on the brackets below the oil plug. So much that it was still dripping. I don’t know which mechanic changed the oil in my car, but my part goat could have done a better job.Never to return to AN

Complaint fall off and they won't call you back. I have called to follow up and keep getting sent into a loop. I'm truly believing AutoNation doesn't care about their customers Definitely buying elsewhere next time.

ReviewMy husband and I bought a used 2020 Hyundai from Auto Nation Hyundai Savannah on January 6th, 2024. Note that they PROMISE an intense maintenance check before a car is put in the lot to sell. The day after we bought it the check engine light came on. We called Hyundai the next business day to address this, we were pushed off and told we would get a call back. Got a call back the next day stating they could not get it in until January 23, 2024. Our salesman reached out to us regarding how we were liking the car, we explained to him what the issue was and he told us to bring it in the following Monday, January 15th, 2024. We took it in and the service department told us we did not have an appointment until the 23rd. We explained otherwise. They took the car and said they would look at it. Half the day has went by and heard nothing. Went back up there and were given no answers. I was not okay with that answer, so we went back in and demanded some answers and the “managers” got involved. At that point, they finally checked the car and told us that it was something with the transmission that it just needed to be relearned and they sent us on our way. We did not get 20 minutes down the road and the engine light is back on. At this point, we are not happy. We take it back to Hyundai and they put us into a loaner. Well, we have been in this loaner for 6 weeks and have not had a SINGLE call from Hyundai regarding what is actually wrong with our vehicle. I have called multiple times and have not been given any answers. They just say that they will call back and never do, we have even tried to get answers through our salesman and that hasn’t worked either. We have even had to take the loaner back to the dealership to get a new tag in the middle of this and was not even given a clue to what’s wrong with our vehicle. Now the loaner we are currently in needs to be serviced and I could not even get an answer on what to do about that or an answer on what is wrong with our car that they have had for 6 weeks. The employee on the phone told me she would send an email to service and that they would call me EVENTUALLY, she didn’t know when but eventually. Those were her exact words. I was told that there is only one person that could call and give updates on vehicles and they he is just very very busy and that’s why he never calls us back. We have taken the next step in reaching out to their Corporate Office and are waiting for a call back.We will never ever buy another vehicle from Auto Nation. It has been the worse experience and there is not an employee there that seems to care. We wouldn’t have bought the car if we knew it was going to immediately have issues. This is something that should have been addressed before it was ever put on the lot to sell! Think twice before buying from Auto Nation.

All this company cares about is money. They are forcing the technicians to remain on the clock even though there isn’t any work. This messes with our efficiency which in return also messes with our paychecks. We already can’t afford our bills due to no work this time of year and low pay but they make matters worse by implementing rules to make our efficiency go down as well. This place is a joke and corporate is going to push away all their technicians just so they can get a bigger commission. I do not recommend supporting corporate corruption, take your business elsewhere and save the headache.

I contacted these guys as they're the headquarters, explained my issues and they basically didn't care just referred me back to the dealership i was having issues with and had to go through the so called General manager. Don't expect results from this place. Surprising since if i wasn't having the issues i was with the other dealership i wouldn't have needed to reach out to headquarters. It was a waste of time. Goodluck if you have any dealings with this company. Wish i could leave negative stars.

I purchased a 2018 Alfa Romeo giulia from here about 5 months ago and I am now finding out the car needs a new engine. Ever since I purchased this car it's been problems with the car and also the service department/dealership. i was told the car had gotten an oil change , serviced and new brakes were put in. Within two weeks the oil light was on and the breaks were squeeking. I brought it to the service department where I was then told that they did not hear any squeaking so they would not change the brakes. I then brought it to Alfa Romeo, Larchmont, where I found out that the brakes were actually warped and never had been changed. I also found out the oil change had not been done, and actually the oil was 4 quartz over. When I then brought this problem to the service department attention they told me they would do the oil change, which for the second time they actually did not do, they only let out oil which then brought the oil too low, which is unsafe for the engine. Also the engine light would come on and off, I brought it to service department attention but I was told they cannot look at the car If the check engine light is not permanently on, " AutoNation policy ". Fast forward 5 months I find out the car needs a new engine and I am out of my warranty with autonation. They refused to service my car and nothing has been done.

Can’t make this up. I have the text messages and emails. I found a vehicle for a certain price at an AutoNation on Friday Nov 24. It happened to be a Black Friday weekend. So they had deals. I told the salesman and manager in emails, text messages and over the phone. I’m ready to buy and get the deal going. I have the money and just waiting on y’all. They informed me on Saturday, the truck is not ready, they are super busy and I have to wait until Monday to get everything worked out with them. So I waited patiently, all to receive an email saying oh the truck price has changed about $1000 more than the original price. So I asked why would the price change. They replied that was a Black Friday weekend deal only. So let me get this straight, because no salesman to include managers were willing to work the deal on Saturday morning and I was specifically told to wait until Monday, they decided we are going to increase the price. What scam and scandalous way to do business. Keep in mind, I was ready to purchase Saturday. I have the money waiting. I was taking there advice to just wait since the truck still needs to go through inspection and they needed more time.

I Have bought two cars in this Autonation and was looking forward to buy another one, but he Service Department in this place is unexepcatble. Alvaro was my Service person when I came in with issues with my car, he was not only rude he basically told me "your car is parked right there go ahead and take it" I spoke with the Service Manager Hector who got me into a rental car and apologized. My car has been in the service department for a month, no one has bothered to call me and let me know on the status of my car. I have called myself to get information and all they say is not ready and that is it. I went today with another of my cars to get serviced and asked to speak to the (Store Manager) about my car, Mario introduced him self as the Store Manager and when I explaned the issue he said "who is paying for your rental car?'" which was not what I expected. Again dissapointed about my cars battery still been in back order. Big company and Auto zone has my battery and they dont, which I was informed by Jamir (Service Assistant Manager) today, basically told me to buy the battery from Autozone and call corporate to see if I get a refund also voding my warranty that I have with my car and the extended warranty they encourage you to buy at the end of your car purchase(do not recommend after this expereince). To top it off I get a sales call from there after I left to sell me another car. Can you Imagine, that is not going to happen again.

I am having an issue with the tactics that are being used when being sold by Micheal Shulz,Nairobi Dingle and Terrance Haywood at the Kennesaw Auto Nation location. On or around 10/19/2023 I inquired about a 2011 Subaru Outback that was listed on the internet for 3138.00 at the Lithonia Autonation location. I was called by Micheal Shult and was told that Micheal could have the car shipped to the Kennesaw location and I could buy it there. One or about 10/29/2023 I was advised by Micheal Shultz that the car was ready for pick up however the car has been marked up to $8000.00 By Nairobi Dingle. I then let Nairobi know that it was unethical to upsale the price when originally the was $4000.00 less at the Lithonia Branch where I was originally going to buy it. Nairobi then agreed that it was a mistake and he sent me the quote for $3185. (listed in attachment). However, in the quote I was charged $1200.00 in fees and which is outrageous for a car that cost $3100.(I did the math, and they were charging me $1000.00 more than what they should. Being unfair and deceptive)On 11/1/2023 I make it to the branch to pay for the car and Donte the General Manager tells me that he is not going to sale me the car and that the car will be put up for Wholesale. Leaving me without a car. I have not had transportation in two weeks because of the hold up.I feel like Dontae and the people at Autonation of Kennesaw is sending the car to wholesale because Dontae is a new manager and would not like to take the loss. Leaving me damaged and distraught. Please do something to stop these unfair actions and put me in the car that I was going to Lithonia to pay cash for. There are law to protect consumer and I just want yall to honor what is fair.

BUYERS BEWARE PLEASE READ: I was under the impression that AutoNation was a reputable dealership that took care of their customers. That was a BIG mistake! I saw a Nissan Murano on their website and called to inquire about it. I intended to trade my Lexus so the sales rep, Josh asked me to bring the car in for the trade in value. My car is in excellent condition so we came to an agreement, they ran my credit, agreed on financing, and I gave them my credit card. The car was located at their Miami lot, so I was told the car would arrive in a few days and I'd receive a call. After not receiving a call for several days I called and was told that the Miami location wouldn't release the car but he didn't give a specific reason. I then noticed that they had raised the price of the car by $9000. The sales rep Goering said he'd get his director involved. I received NO follow up, So I called the next day, apparently Goering is now out sick, and Josh was on vacation… what a coincidence lol! I demanded to speak with the Director and He offered an extra thousand dollars for my trade and a thousand off another car because of the mistake. I agreed on an Acura SUV but they have yet to deliver. They treat me as if I'm bothering them when I call and as if they are doing me a favor. They ran my credit (which lowers your score), changed the price of the car by a whole third of the price and now won't deliver on their promise to fix things and I still have not heard back about the Acura. If you are thinking about buying a car, think about going somewhere else. These guys are very deceptive, don't honor their pricing and don't keep their promises.
