Staff was very unfriendly Meilani was not friendly at all, went over fees super fast not even exactly sure what I was charged for but my one night stay went from $275 to almost $500 because of fees. For those prices you’d think you’d get some good customer service but all I got was 2 bottles of water and 4 warm cookies.

Got a day pass to waste some time after getting off a cruise, friendly staff, beautiful pool and beach. Tons of food options and bars within walking distance. Would definitely come back!

Zero stars. I booked via Tickets at Work for a one night stay (1/10/25) prior to a cruise. Due to a family emergency I needed to cancel my cruise and the hotel reservation. My travel partner was originally going to continue to travel so I called the hotel to have his name added to allow for checking in (room was booked for two). Hotel told me I needed to call third party for any changes or cancelation which I had noted may be necessary if my partner changed their mind and canceled also.
I called Tickets at work, they were closed. I called this AM to cancel as partner decided to cancel also and was told that I would have had to cancel by midnight last night. I explained that I had called both the Bahia Mar and Tickets at Work at 7 pm cst when we determined we needed to make a change and could not get assistance. Tickets at work reached out to Bahia Mar Fort Laudetdale and they would not refund booking even though I attempted to make changes during the acceptable time frame.
I recognize I am ultimately responsible here, but was hoping for a bit of grace as was shown when working with Costco Travel when cancel our Cruise (huge shout out to Costco Travel!) I wish we had booked our hotel with them as well. If booking with a third party, check to see what their customer service hours are in the event of an emergency.

I noticed I left four stars five years ago. It’s definitely not the case this time. The vibe has changed. Still great location. The room I was in this time which was an upgrade from the room I had before, had many issues (door, refrigerator, the bathroom) They served moldy French Toast my partner got sick from. I paid quite a bit more for a balcony but it wasn’t a real balcony you can sit on.

The Hilton should be ashamed to put their name on this Double Tree property. The location is absolutely stunning with amazing beach and view however the customer service was absolutely terrible and disrespectful and the building is old, very outdated and unsecured.
As soon as we arrived we were given attitude and when we asked about the Hilton Honors benefits on that property we were told we don’t have any as we booked with Hilton points.
The parking is very expensive on that location and we were told because it’s not Hilton property even tho it’s attached to the building.
The room was very smelly, there is no central
A/C but just old window unit and very noisy. The bathroom is probably 30 more years old. The shower knobs were loose and hard to operate. It was missing the hair conditioner and when we asked for more they said they don’t have it and they don’t know when will have it. We just bought our own. There is barely storage for clothes. Maybe good for one adult but not for family of 4.
The access to the pool is unsecured and anybody from outside can access it anytime they want.
We do not recommend this property.

Clearly a hotel that is scheduled for demolition in a little over a year. Minimal maintenance, staff, amenities, etc. Room was musty, filthy windows, staff was slow and disinterested. Vibe was a "just getting buy until it's over" vibe. Spend your money at another hotel on the beach for the same price that is "still in the game." Bahia Mar has checked out.

My family and I stayed at Bahia Mar for 2 nights before our Disney Cruise out of port Canaveral in December. We were very pleased with our stay. The warm delicious cookies at check in were fabulous. We only ate breakfast at the restaurant here both mornings the staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our two young kids had pancakes even if they weren’t on the buffet that day. Major perk to our entire stay was the generous complementary upgrade we were gracious given for my husband being retired military. Thank you David Moreta :)

I came to Bahia Mar looking for Marina Village and i loved the music and the food. I have to say that i had a great time and i want to give a recognition to Stephan from vallet who kindly greeted me when i arrived to the hotel.

Rooms: The Room were showing a lot of wear, but the bed was clean and comfortable.
Noteworthy details: Great location to the beach with a bridge to walk directly onto the beach from the room. Hotel front staff was terribly rude when asking a question about checking in and checking out they were really confrontational and accused three people in my party of lying even though we are all professional, and had no reason to.

Absolutely true comments by other reviewers.
There is NOWHERE to hang out for such an expensive beach hotel. The pool is awkwardly situated at the back of the hotel as well with no beach view. Additionally, the pool shuts at sunset, and has no hot tub. The walkway to the beach is unlit and the locks are half broken allowing anyone to walk back in even without a card.
There is almost no sitting area in the lobby. In fact the abandoned (seemed to be an outdoor restaurant) front portion of the hotel is where the restaurant SHOULD be, instead of shoved underneath the steps. The restaurant also has an extremely limited selection. I would like to say the staff at the restaurant were kind and attentive.
This feels like a low class motel, Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name on this property. Dilapidated and moist rooms greet you with a wave of mildew smell, scraped furniture and bedding, walls with peeling paint and window AC (no central air throughout the property), toilets that don’t flush, a closet sized shower/combined bathroom from 30 years ago, and to top it off water pressure that fluctuates constantly so you get burned/frozen with each shower. To top it off, housekeeping has to be explicitly told multiple times to refill shampoo pumps, replace toilet paper, or even place a new soap bar.
Seriously this hotel feels like it should be 60-80 a night. Will never stay again.

BEWARE OF THE “FEE’s” AT THIS HOTEL. The parking fees alone for three days were more than my rental van. And that’s not the end of the fees. Might want to talk about the fee’s before you pay because once you pay, they have nothing for you. Manger just keeps repeating “everything is correct”. Not much of a review person but, thought I would help the next guy out before booking this place.

Terrible service. The attitude towards serving is horrible, specifically on December 22. If it weren't for the fact that I'll only be there for one night to get on a cruise, I'd be leaving here now! It is an old hotel, a mediocre restaurant in food quality, but good service from the people who work there. Decent pool and location.

My stay at the Bahía Mar Beach Hilton in Fort Lauderdale was absolutely unforgettable. The first thing that stands out is its amazing location—just steps away from a beautiful beach with soft sand and warm waters. It’s perfect for sunset walks or simply relaxing under the sun.
From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. I loved how they paid attention to small details, like always having fresh towels available for the beach or checking in to see if I needed anything in my room. You can tell they genuinely care about making your stay special.
The rooms were also a pleasant surprise—comfortable and tastefully decorated. The view from the balcony overlooking the ocean was breathtaking.
It’s a place where you can completely unwind. I’d absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Fort Lauderdale.
