What a perfect place for a good meal by the water. We enjoy late lunch on the boat deck. Kale salad was amazing, tuna taco and shrimp poboy mouth watering. Honey bread very sticky and satisfying.Pelicans, barracuda family, great atmosphere.

We were placed on a very hidden table. Even though there were plenty of available tables and they weren't taking reservations that day. The food was great and not very expensive. The service started well, and later through the evening, we almost didn't see the server and had to wait to get drinks for about 20 min.

I live in the neighborhood and the Boathouse is my local"go to" restaurant when I want to impress my family and friends. The service is lovely - not too pokey, not too rushed. Our waiter, Dan, was personable and very helpful with our requests. The food is always great and river views can't be beat! See you soon, Boathouse!

The food is average. The service is average also. The location is awesome. Come for the views. Youll see expensive yachts sailing by along the water and youll have a decent time. The prices were reasonable and the food was mediocre. Not 5 star but this not a 5 star joint. Come for anything other than the view, and simple food...and youll be dissatisfied.

Great new spot on the canal in Ft. Lauderdale. Laid back with great service and prices. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. The amount of boat watching with a cold beer here would be worth the trip to Ft. Lauderdale alone. Service for our large table was quick and efficient and helpful with our questions on the menu.

We docked our boat and had lunch. The food was okay, but the service wasn't great. Location was really great.

Awesome views of boats going by and plenty of lush plants and trees. Our server was Arianna. We went for happy hour. She was excellent unlike some of the reviews I read about this restaurant before going there. There were a few times we had to wait for her but they were getting slammed for happy hour it wasn't bad at all. They also had a great playlist which we could barely hear when we were sitting out looking at the water but every song was dead on for us in our age group.Everything was half off for cocktails, wine or beer and usually most places are well brands only, but this was Maker's mark. Or whatever brand you choose, including Martini's, so that made it affordable. They had a Cuban slider for $5 and they had a beef slider for $5. 2 pork tacos on one plate for $7 and Bang bang shrimp for $7.We loved everything except the Bang bang shrimp, they were not like what have had at most other places. They were butterflied and too much batter.Other than that I would return again and again.

3/11/2024 5:15pm-Happy HourMy new favorite waterfront restaurant in Fort Lauderdale! The views, the food, the amazing staff, the attentive service and the vibe are all 5 Star! I came from Palm Beach to see Dave Mason in concert at the Parker and I love the Riverside Hotel! My research on great Happy Hours on Las Olas brought me to the Boathouse! After living in Lauderdale by the Sea for so many years I had never been to the Boathouse! So glad I finally did.. I will never stray!Sat at the bar which still gives you a view of gliding yachts going by.. a lively vibe enhanced by 2 amazing bartenders! Wow! Busy, yet still attentive and welcoming! Gabriel and Jean-Marc moved in sync to a very fast paced crowd! Never leaving anyone without a drink ? or food! I honestly don’t know how they did it! It was happy hour and look at my pictures for their happy hour menus and prices! I ordered the Old Fashion which was absolutely delicious and half price at HH! Like I said the best HH on Las Olas and maybe even Fort Lauderdale!I ordered the Fried Cheese Curds with Hot Honey! Yes, anything soaked with hot honey will be delicious but they were definitely over fried and hard as a rock. With that said I wouldn’t order again but they were still yummy and yes I ate all of them.. they were a huge portion too.I did see the burger slider and the shrimp hh dishes and will definitely order them next visit. All of the dishes coming out of the kitchen looked delicious! I can’t wait to come back! I’m scheduled to stay at The Riverside Hotel 2 or 3 times in the next 6 months.. their menu offers something for every taste and diet at very affordable prices!I highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Great place! The staff is outstanding with Scott & Terrence at the lead! Food and atmosphere relaxing, good variety… a special spot along the river. An enjoyable resturant, relax in the covered outdoors, sit at the bar or grab a table. Our FAV!!!!
