Have to say I have never been interested in writing a review , until now ! My review is on Citi bank first . My wife who is now in full time care at a senior living facility is not capable of conducting business on any level .I filled the proper paper work with citi bank /Costco only to be turned down ! They claim my documents are not valid ! A power of attorney was filed in New York State . It was properly executed and is 100% valid . Citi bank has refused to recognize these documents ! Costco through their rewards program is holding over $1000 .00 in rewards and refuse to pay unless I can provide power of attorney to handle these transactions ! I don't know how this will end but to begin with I may cancel my Costco membership and my Citi bank card ! I doubt that will have an impact ,we are the little guys and don't have much to fight with ! May my review have some impact because that is all there is !

The manager Bryan was very aggressive and rude to me, I'm very understanding but he stood to close to me with no mask and was kicking me out of my own bank. I never once raise my voice he also threatened security on me. Because they just had a entertainer switch out her 1s and he didn't want to do it for me so he said he could do a couple hundred and that it which was fine but the fact that he didn't even give me a minute to see what I wanted to do and was telling me "I'm leaving until you take your 1s off the counter and leave." He tried to bully me and made me feel very insecure and helpless he felt like he could treat me any old way, I wasn't arguing with any of them I understand the situation with on teller just being there. But the facts that he was being rude and aggressive for no reason was nothing called for. I work until 8/9 in the morning and I'm tired when I get home the only time I have to go to the bank is in the afternoon. I hated that this man thought he could belittle me because I was a women and the teller was trying to defend him of course couse he's her boss and she didn't want to get in-trouble or change my money out anyways. Also he gave me a fake number to corporate.

I opened a new account and then tried to log on to set up the electronic account. I only had to enter a few pieces of data, but the system said it was incorrect. I decided to use the chat function. The person on the chat had a fake American name and I am sure because of their English, they were in India or someplace else. Stop with the fake names already, we know you are not in the US. This customer service person was horrible. She kept saying she would fix the problem, but guess what, she did not. I finally gave up on her and will try again. I told her repeatedly that I wanted to have the electronic account set up as I was traveling and wanted to keep track of my credit card on line. So, I found out, when I opened account at the branch, my birth date was entered incorrectly. They took it from my drivers license, so how hard is that. Also, my address is also incorrect, again took it from my drivers license. I switched banks and am now thinking this was not a good idea.

2/14/2020 It is very frustrating/annoying situation when you call Citi Bank and we have foreign employees answering the phone from the Philippines or India. Well the Indian ones manage better the English language. But the first ones not at all. Also the long distance call is not of the best quality to speak to those people. I have to rise my voice and repeat every single word non stop. It is a consuming time which I do not wish to no one. All American companies should hire LOCAL employees. If we wish to visit the Philippines or India, we will fly there.

I have finally had it with this bank. In general, for what you get, it's not bad. But ever since they outsourced their customer service to some other country it's gone downhill fast. This time, there was a fraudulent charge on my debit card. I had to call four times over three days to talk to seven different people and while I got a new card - I STILL don't have a credit on my account for the amount that was fraudulent. Talking to the people in so-called "customer service" is a nightmare. First you have to get through the automated system which takes forever to convince that, yes, I really do want to speak to a live person. Then I am left on hold for over 20 minutes. When I finally get a live person on the phone, they have such a heavy accent I can barely understand them, and I have to keep explaining myself over and over until they get it. Then it always turns out that they have to transfer me to someone in another dept because they are too low on the totem pole to handle this, and then I get put on hold for another half hour. I have also been disconnected time and again and had to start over. I have switched most of my accounts over to a credit union at this point and will be moving all of my accounts out of Citibank. At least the credit union has people in the USA who answer the phones and do customer service. I can't take anymore of this outsourced b******** Citibank used to be great, but they wanted to save a few bucks and not pay Americans to do these jobs, they'd rather pay people in the Phillipines a pittance instead and what you get is crappy service. They sure didn't give me any more interest on my accounts with all the money they saved, so it must have gone into someone else's pockets. I've had it, and I would recommend you find somewhere else to bank. Call their customer service lines before you open an account!

It's not by any means the most efficient location. Being that the drive through atm is across the street in a very narrow and congested mini strip mall while the main branch is across the street makes it an uncomfortable and hard to access branch. Good luck finding a spot to park at in this busy corner. It's not for the faint of heart in any way. Citibank locations are scarce nowadays so for account holders to perform in-branch transactions. Once you pass the entrance and realized it too late, the u-turn you'll need to take to get back to the section where you can access the branch is mundane to say the least. If you have no other choice but coming here, just prepare yourself. I would avoid rush hour at all costs. The next Citibank location isn't nearby so brace yourself if this stop is inevitable.

Employees here are not attending clients... They just sit around their desk with no customers in front of them and don't even get up to check sign in sheet. Unbelievable service... Horrible horrible...
