I find Winn Dixie stores a bit dated compared to Publix or even Aldi stores. I do like to stop by and check out their specials and their new items...I noticed this time their nice selection of seltzer waters on sale, with many good flavors like tangerine, raspberry and lime and strawberry - kiwi. When they are about 50 cents each, it's no big deal to try them out to see if they are any good.I am partial to their tangerine flavor.

If you're on a budget travel while wanting to get cheap delicious Floridian style foods, get to this place. Their menu often changes everyday and it ranges from Caribbean style chicken meals, to collard greens, turnip greens, Jamaican roast chicken, rice with beans, etc. All that and other groceries you might need (beers especially ).

This was a good Winn Dixie because they had a product I've been searching for in quite a few other stores -- Nellie's Red Cabbage -- to go with some bratwurst I'd planned on making. After looking for it in several Publix and Walmart stores (the space on their shelves where it should be was empty), ta dah! The store itself inside was neat and clean. It's not in an area we normally shop in. The only negatives were the couple panhandlers in the parking lot -- an unfortunate reality at a lot of shopping centers/places these days. And I did wish they had a separate bakery department -- it's only displays of prepackaged goods -- as there was one sliced cake that looked great, but it was almost an entire cake! You know how it is, you'll eat the whole thing... So, if you're looking for something different, something southern, or you haven't found it yet in your regular grocery stores... this might be another place to look.

I have lived about 2 miles away from this store, and have shopped there for about 15 yrs. For the third time on a Saturday, going in there was no meat ready for the sale. I spoke to a young lady who at 7:50( hrs are 7am opening) was just beginning to post the sale at the meat counter. but none ready for customer. Lately, the cashiers have been somewhat either angry or just plain rude. No greetings, they rarely ask for WD card. Customer service is little to none. Today was the last for me. I walked out without any of my items. I did report it. But, again the management is responsible in the training of the employees and the job is not being done. such a shame since this is close for many of us. Store is less than adequate.
