Okay hotel, but not worthy of 4-star status, certainly doesn't stand up to the Marriott brand. Pros: king studio room was very big with a kitchenette, big balcony, big shower, quiet room, and the housekeeping was very friendly. Cons: curtains for the floor to ceiling windows can't keep the light out and needed to be jury rigged to stay closed, the "lobby" on level 3 where you check in looks like a cafeteria, reception staff was befuddled, shower takes literally 10 minutes to get hot water, bathroom door is a sliding door that won't stay closed. Bad coffee in the room, which is to be expected these days was made up for with a coffee shop on the ground floor serving La Colombe.

We spent three nights here mid Nov 2023. Great loacation close to Airport. We had exceptional service from Austin, from getting us into our room, answering our many questions and tips on the beach area. He went above and beyond. Another gentlman picked us at the beach, also very knowable and friendly. All other staff were very friendly, although I did not get their names.. I can't wait to book our next trip to this hotel.. highly recommend

I love, love this place! My go to hotel for work. Sometimes I stay at the Dalmar (Same building and rooms are little higher end). But both hotels share same amenities and restaurants. Staff is amazing all around.

The hotel beautiful, the rooms are beautiful and the view is amazing. Enjoyed drinks on the rooftop bar the entire downtown skyline at night. He had gotten a room with a balcony however there was no chairs on the balcony just a small coffee table. The room reeked of dog urine, Upon asking housekeeping if they could change the bedding including the comforter because of the smell the young lady laughed at what I was saying, This was very offsetting however she did change everything. The smell was better after however you could still strong with smell urine. We didn’t spend too much time in the hotel especially after smell and seeing there was no chairs on the balcony. It’s unfortunate that this was the experience I had at this four-star hotel, I would love to stay there again in a different room of course able to have the full experience of this beautiful property everything else about it was amazing

Once again Selisa and Andy treated us amazing. 3rd time in this hotel and this time for birthday celebration and we had a blast. At Sparrow rooftop had another great experience- thanks to our server. She made sure our birthday dinner was on point and recommended best options. Forgot her name all I know she is Dominican. Lol thank you again.

Stayed here as an airline employee several times and I've had a problem almost every time I've been here. I will say it's a nice looking place in a great location however, I've had issues after issue with loud plumbing noises that have woken me up at night, poor air conditioning that would also make loud noises, refrigerators slowly breaking down and creating noise etc... Customer service says they are sending maintenance and they never show. Customer service is pretty lousy. And finally, their so called free breakfast is disgusting.

I absolutely loved this location I would definitely book again. The element is one of my favorite Marriott properties. I often travel to the Fort Lauderdale Miami area for cultural events and activities. Recently I was in town for business and I booked the element Hotel for myself and my client my room was superb I had no problems however my client did have a few issues with their room. Because I did the book and it was responsible for the trip I spoke with management and show them images detailing the inconsistencies in their room maintenance. Prior to informing the front office of the housekeeping oversight I checked my room to make sure that I didn't have any inconsistencies. I submitted a documented letter to the manager and spoke with the front desk agent showing them photos and video of the issue. I was told that it would be addressed and we will be compensated with points however I have yet to see the Reward Points rollover. Wish then makes me leery about booking this particular location again. However, I do have a trip coming up in less than 60 days and would really like to stay at this location I'm hoping that the issue will be resolved within a few days and I would like to chalk it up to just an oversight, however, the oversight seemed to happen twice during our 4-day stayNoteworthy details: This is the two-in-one space the Del Mar is the primary Hotel the element shares with the Del Mar it is listed as a four-star hotel with pool and gym amenities. There are restaurants at the hotel and it has a very sexy vibe. While I did see families there I don't think that this is a kiddie hotel.I love the security of the building. It is high tech the only way you can get to your floor is by having a key card and pressing the outside button there are no buttons inside the elevator so you're always riding the elevator by yourself. There's valet at the front door 24 hours so safety is never an issue.

2 hotels in one. Have stayed at the element. Great room with little kitchenette. Nice lobby area and a really good simple breakfast. Short walk to restaurants and grocery in any direction.

Teeny tiny outdated room for Anniversary overlooking full active construction site. Denied access to rooftop after lovely dinner at Yolo because we didn't have a reservation to get a drink at the bar...Really! Hotel vacant empty with ropes and zero people anywhere. Hello, I'm staying at the property and let me get this right, we can't go to the bar, wow! Marketing photos are extremely misleading, hotel feels and still looks like cheap studio burned out apartments left for dead in a bad part of town at best. The kicker, all night pipes in the building have high pitched squeeling and screeching noise that kept us awake, not a wink of sleep AND hotel is aware of it but hey just keeping taking everyone's money for literally NOTHING! This dive is a total racket, extremely dishonest advertising, AVOID at all costs!!!

Short Answer: My girlfriend and I really loved our 7 night stay at the Element Fort Lauderdale and highly recommended staying there!Pro's:- First off, Pravin from the front desk on the 3rd floor lobby was really incredible. He really made us feel at home!- We stayed in the suite which has a balcony and looks out towards the ocean so you can see the sunrise each morning.- There's a really cool coffee shop inside of the hotel- There's a really nice rooftop bar inside the hotel- The lounge on the 6th floor is amazing. It has a large bar & huge area to eat/relax.- The gym is perfect and has great natural light- The pool is really relaxing and has a great view- All of the workers are SOO nice there.- The hotel is all in the same building as The Dalmar Hotel so you basically get all the amenities as The Dalmar Hotel if you are staying at the Element Fort Lauderdale.Con's:- Not a big con, but Element should do a better job advertising the rooms inside the Marriott Bonvoy. Basically I called because I was unsure if any of their rooms had balconies. The call went to a general call center and the person clearly didn't work at the Element Fort Lauderdale. She ended up telling me "No, this hotel does not have a balcony" However, it turns out the hotel indeed DOES have a balcony. I almost didn't book at the element because I didn't think it had a balcony.- The hotel should do a better job showing more photos of the rooms. They're really missing out on this because the rooms are perfect (at least the one I stayed in). It was much nicer than I was anticipating.- Not a huge con for me because I don't mind a little walk, but it's not right on Las Olas Boulevard. You do have to cross a few busy streets to get to Las Olas. I honestly didn't mind because it was nice going back to the hotel and not hearing a ton of noise (which you would hear if you were on Las Olas Boulevard).Consensus:I will be back! I really loved staying at the Element and will definitely stay there anytime I'm in fort Lauderdale. Huge shout out to Pravin! Thanks for making our trip a great one!

I was unable to get to my booked hotel due to heavy rain and flooding. I stopped at Element but wasn't sure if I would be able to get a room. Austin and Sia (apologies if I misspelled) went above and beyond to assist. I was able to get a room and an upgrade. The room is beautiful, clean, comfortable and has a full kitchen which I really needed. Not sure what I could have done without their help, given we are under a flash flood warning and I'm with my dog. I've always preferred staying at Marriott, but this experience has solidified my appreciation for the brand. I hope to be back at this hotel in the future. Thank you!!!Rooms: Clean, full kitchen, walk in shower.Walkability: Close to Las Olas, restaurants and storesFood & drinks: Restaurants in hotel

I enjoyed my stay at the element. The service was good. The room was a decent size with plenty of charger ports. It was very clean. I loved the view of the city. I was also a fan of the shared amenities with the dalmar. There was a quality pool, rooftop bar and a cute coffee shop.

This hotel is a part of Marriott Bonvoy. The lobby is located on the 6th floor and it has a nice vibe. The room is beautifully renovated and modern. I had the standard room and the size was bit too small with full kitchen. But I still appreciate it that they have a full kitchen. I was not notified that they have a free breakfast. I would have loved to check it out. Next time!

This hotel is slipping in their performance. The staff was previously friendly, accommodating and professional. Recently, I believe Motel 6 would give them a run for their money. Sadly, I am taking my business elsewhere.

Great place to stay. Very clean, very helpful, very comfortable beds and great dining downstairs. We'd definitely come back. We enjoyed the ambiance and relaxing atmosphere. Beware, when they get slammed you may have to wait a lil longer for service, but it's worth it!
