Dr. Sandrea is an amazing vet. He diagnosed and cured our dog after a 2 month run around from our old vet. Everyone at the office is very kind and helpful. Just today they were able to get us in right away when my dog ate chocolate on a walk. They saved her life.

These amazing people saved our bacon this past week. We were heading out of town and were turned away from PetSmart pet boarding for our dog Jake because of out-of-date vaccinations. They vaccinated him that same day and took amazing care of him over the holidays. He loved his stay and everyone was so sweet when we went to pick him up. Jake and all of us definitely made some great new friends. Love this place!!!!

I brought my kitten to Family Vet for her 1st rabies shot. My 1st impression of the front desk was they were a bit unorganized and uninformed and couldn't answer alot of my questions. The vet, Dr. Glass seemed forgetful of things which I had already mentioned to her, but other than that the visit was uneventful. I wasn't "wowed" and I assumed her distracted presence was just because she was very busy so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Then I called to make an appointment to get my cat spayed. The only question the receptionist could answer was when I could come in. That was last Friday. She couldn't give me an estimate, how long it would take or anything else. She said they would email me an estimate. I worked for a vet and had all my pets over my 62 years spayed or neutered so I thought this odd. It's not brain surgery. It's not a difficult question, just asking for a general ballpark figure regarding the bill for this very common procedure. Got nothing from her but a promise for an email. So the receptionist called me today to confirm my appointment for tomorrow at 8:00 am and again, she had no information about an estimate but said they would send an email to me before they left today. No email with an estimate so I tried leaving a message and their recording didn't beep so I could leave a message but my call got transferred to another long message which sounded like it was from a year ago saying all visits were cancelled due to covid. Then I got a beep. So yeah, the front desk is screwy which is usually a reflection of what's going on in the bac so I'm not leaving my beloved new family member in their care. I cancelled my appointment.

I personally had a terrible experience w this vet, I lost my cat due to lack of care which still torments me. My neighbor just lost her beloved dog, said he couldn't breathe while she was still at the vet's office and "Dr. Glass" told her "oh it's just because he's excited to go home". Shortly after he stopped breathing and passed away. Vet and office showed no compassion. This is the worst vet ever!!!!!

My neighbor's dog has a lung infection and breathing is very labored. He was examined by Dr Glass, xrays were taken and antibiotics given. He was sent home with instructions to call in a couple of hours for xray results. My neighbor is 82 yrs old and was very upset and worried about her beloved dog. I called the office for her, on Speaker and asked for results. The person who answered put us on hold and then said bring the dog back! When I asked why I was put on hold and told again to bring the dog back. No reason was given three times. Finally I asked to speak to the vet to see if his breathing would get better and she came to the phone with an attitude. She said bring the dog back right now. When I asked why she said the x-rays were not good enough for the radiologist to read. My neighbor said the dog was so stressed he could not survive another half hour ride. The vet was very nasty and I said my neighbor was not up to another trip there but she would come tomorrow. The vet made a nasty personnel comment and did not show any compassion at all. When I told her I was only trying to help she said, "what help do you give anyway, just psychological! Do you give the dog medicine? I said yes I do help with that too! The whole attitude was unprofessional with no compassion for the animal or human owner.

I rescued from Pet Crusade a Russian Blue kitty for my mom. She passed away 9 yrs ago and he moved into my world. I was not a cat lady and yet... he saved my emotional life after her passing . I Had been a client at Gentle Care Clinic for some years. Ultimately my 15-year-old cat wound up with mass in his ear and infections. He was treated with numerous rounds of antibiotics and each time infections returned. Numerous emergency visits. My last emergency visit which took a week to get and of course double charge for visit ...and I never objected to the cost ...I simply needed proper treatment for my kitty . On my previous visit within a month a nurse brought Misha out sitting in feces. During my last visit as I waited in my car I was told by a very rude nurse ratchet in the parking lot that my cat was too old for surgery and so basically take him home and .... The attending doctor never took a moment to call me or come out to speak to me personally. That was the last straw. I immediately went into high gear calling everyone I knew about a new Vet recommendation. A doctor's wife told me Dr. Glass had extended the life of her pet and she was the only person to go to... I called and told them my circumstances and I was in within two days. I sat in the parking lot and after examination Dr. Glass invited me in with my mask to review Mishas diagnosed condition and we made an appointment for her first surgery appointment. Once again I'm in the parking lot waiting for outcome. Dr. Glass came out with an attendant to my car and Misha In tow. She told me she had successfully removed mass in his ear. It is an issue in progress . I've read the above reviews and really they do not reflect my experience with this hospital and or Dr. Glass. Thank you for my ultimate Vet experience . I know that my Misha will continue to have excellent care.

REALLY poor service. I pray this review stops at least one person from spending money here and receiving the treatment I did. This is my first review I've ever written, for anything, in my life. One woman at the front desk is WAY too old to be operating the front desk. The other has no idea how to handle calls and so passes them along. Dr Glass is INCREDIBLY rude and unkind over the phone, making you feel you are being a bother. Highly highly highly recommend against this facility. I've never had such a terrible veterinarian experience.

I've been coming to this vet since I got my puppy in December and have been having mixed feelings until now, when I've decided it's time to go to a different vet. Yesterday was the tip of the iceberg. We got our dog spayed and were told she would be ready at 3. At 2:55pm, I received a call from Brad who said she was awake and recovering and asked if I had wanted her microchipped. I asked why it wasn't done during the surgery as intended and his response was, "Oops, my mistake. There was another patient that did not want microchipping and I got confused." Umm? Wonder if that other dog was microchipped? At 4pm when I went to pick up my dog, Elaine informed me my bill would be $790. I knew this was incorrect since the high quote they sent me (the night before) was $650 (still overpriced). She said my dog had 4 teeth extracted. I asked her what on earth she was talking about because Brad told me she did not have teeth extracted. After checking with Brad, she came back on the phone and told me it was a mistake, so she took off the charge. My total bill with spaying, micro chipping, one heartgard and nexgard was $690. I find this atrocious, especially considering they charged 40 DOLLARS for a cone that does not work. My dog is licking her wounds this morning. When Dr. Glass came out and I said something about how the microchipping was forgotten during surgery and I wasn't happy about that, she ignored me. I brought up how concerned I am about my dogs weight (she insisted I use Dogma dehydrated veggies and cook beef for her) because she is so scrawny and not gaining weight. I told her how much I was feeding her (which is what she recommended) and she said I should be giving her more than twice that. Inconsistency. I told her I was considering switching foods and her response, verbatim, was, "Dry food is garbage. She will get cancer." I have never been spoken to so condescendingly by a "professional." Her attitude was awful. This office needs to get it together. From over billing to "forgetting" things to Dr. Glass's pompous attitude, I will 100% never return.

Dr. Glass clearly doesn't need mine or anyone's business. As soon as she walked into the room to see my dog she was snarky and condescending towards me. She would ask me a question and then either interrupt me and start talking over me without listening, or say something nasty and sarcastic back in response. I almost cut the visit short to walk out because I could not believe how I was being talked to. She hardly asked me or allowed me to talk about my dog's symptoms, I had to force the information in quickly at the end of the visit so she would have the full picture of what was going on. At one point she had left the room and the tech was with me and apologized for what was happening. I was glad she was there to witness it because at one point I was questioning what I was doing to deserve this. I could see Dr Glass maybe getting angry and frustrated if I was a moron or if I had been the one that was rude, but neither of these were the case. I left there after spending over 200 dollars with nothing but some Chinese herbs she had recommended and a ruined day. There are a thousand vets in South Florida, I can find one who's competent AND doesn't treat me like I'm beneath them.

Great staff and doctors! I won't go anywhere else, even though it's a 40 minute drive.
