I was looking for an honest Mechanic that could diagnose the problem and not just remove and replace parts for a quick buck. Was highly recommended to go see Pat at Floranada Auto repair and was pleasantly surprised at his vast knowledge of my 1989 Jeep Wagoneer. He quickly figured out the mechanical issue and some others that caused the initial engine problem. They repaired it and the Wagoneer Runs like new again and was very Happy with the professional service as well. Also, took my 2016 chevy Silverado because the transmission was shuddering intermittently. The dealer wanted to replace it for $6500 when all it needed was the Transmission fluid and the filter to be changed which resolved the problem. Again, Honesty goes a long way! I have Highly Recommended to friends and family.

I’ve been using this shop for 4 years. Pat is honest will tell you exactly what are the problems in your car. Price is fair and service is excellent. One time I got flat in A1A, I asked for rescue, he sent his mechanic right away and fixed it so I could go home. Next day he change my tires and fixed all the problems as my car is long overdue for maintenance. I had an accident, he fixed my other car and it looks brand new. I saw all different classic cars in his shop and that only mean they all trust him to handle their cars. If you are just window shopping for free estimates and labor, wanted cheap parts to put in your car, just don’t go there. But if you want excellent job, fair price, I highly recommend this shop.Services: Steering & suspension repair

Over the past 40 plus years my family and I have trusted, and relied on Floranada Automotive for our vehicle repairs. I bought my current 2015 Silverado pick up truck in late 2015 from a certain Chevrolet dealer in Pompano Beach. It supposedly qualified for some extra special premium warranty since it was less than a year old and had been "inspected and certified" by their factory trained mechanics (as part of the sale). With less than 500 miles left on this warranty the A/C quit blowing out of the drivers side vents, working only on the passenger side. I took it in to the dealer and got some song and dance about the cabin air filter being clogged and that wasn't covered under warranty. I was quoted $365 for a filter that was listed on line for $25. When I questioned the service writer on this, he came up with some excuses about having to "re program the entire system" blah, blah, blah and immediately lowered the price to $100. Still to much, but it is HOT in the summer and I needed the vehicle immediately for an out of town job we were doing. I agreed to the reduced price, and they got it working. What the dealer did I have no idea. But then a couple weeks later, the same problem comes back, but now out of warranty. I took the truck to Floranada. Pat diagnosed it as a problem with the blend doors. Bottom line they had to remove the ENTIRE dashboard in the truck to get at these things. Ended up being an almost two day job, but Pat only charged me for a days labor. Then last month driving down I-95 I feel the steering "tighten up". I watched in horror as the temperature gauge is climbing, and the steering is getting worse. I pulled over and called Pat and sent him a few pictures of the front of the engine. It had seized the belt tensioner, common on my vehicle apparently. He sent one of his mechanics out with a new fan belt and tensioner and Jay fixed it on the side of the road. Saved me an expensive tow truck ride into the shop, and sitting in the sun waiting for the wrecker to show. Sorry for writing a book, but this guy is the best, in a VERY sketchy industry.Services: Steering & suspension repair

Thank you Mr Everett brought my car to multiple shops and they could not fix it had estimates of well over $2,000 they fixed my car for $275 a simple part was all that was needed so ridiculous other shops trying to rip me off.Apparently he's been here for 45 years clearly knows what he's doing.I never write reviews but in this case I thought I should. Thanks againJames

I had a problem with driver window wouldn’t close and Pat did diagnostic and said the motor is fried and need to be replaced for 358$ but I knew the motor was working because the window would open but if you open all the way it wouldn’t close.I told him don’t replace it and he charged me 90$ for absolutely doing nothing.I went and bought a switch for 65$ and replace it and that fixed the problem.I called him for a refund because his diagnostic was wrong but he arrogantly deny he was wrong and hang the phone.Terrible person don’t even bother going there. He is even a liar or doesn’t know what he is doing or both.

Pat and his team are the best. I've been a long-standing customer for over 15 years and they've never let me down. Pat was a stock car racing mechanic so he's seen it all. the most honest mechanic I've ever encountered. you can't beat this place. .
