When we purchased our sofas on 8/25/23, we were sold the Guardsman Gold Protection Plan only because we were told it covered pet scratches and kid-related damage like ink, etc. That was the sole reason we agreed to spend extra money on it.
We filed a claim on May 2nd and spent MONTHS chasing them down with weekly follow-ups, only to finally get an answer on September 10th—DENIED. Reason? “Pet scratches.” Exactly what we were told was covered!
This feels like a complete scam. I feel flat-out lied to. If the plan doesn’t cover what you claim it does, then why even sell it? I understand it’s a third-party company, but if you care about your customers, you should stop pushing this protection plan immediately. After doing more research, I’ve found thousands of people with the same horror story and denied claims.
Bottom line: this isn’t protection—it’s false advertising, wasted money, and a trap for customers who trusted your word.

I had a great shopping experience! From the moment I walked through the door, I didn't feel pressured or followed around. The staff asked how they could help, and when I mentioned I was looking for something, they guided me in the right direction but then allowed me to browse on my own. They were available if I had any questions or needed assistance.
I ended up making a purchase, and the entire process was pleasant. My delivery was quick, and I would definitely recommend this store. I would happily go back again!

Frank was wonderful. He provided me direction within the store without being overwhelming. The purchasing process was seamless, and our furniture will arrive quickly. Havertys itself has a great selection of furniture. I wish I had been here sooner, as their furniture is high quality and beautiful.

This has been one of my best experiences shopping for furniture that I have ever had! Let me preface this by saying this was at the Fort Lauderdale location on 3700 Federal Hwy and not at any other location. Reason for my disclosure regarding location is because before that we went to another location in Coconut Creek and unfortunately was not impressed and this had more to do with the sales associate’s interaction more than the actual store! Actually the reality is we would have gone with another furniture store company had it not been for these two amazing associates we lucked out on getting. Those two associates are Celine Hernandez and Sophia Herrera ( hope I did not butcher their last name’s spelling) from the inception they greeted us with a warm and welcoming demeanor and I guess Celine realizing we were not or at least we looked liked we hadn’t the slightest idea as to what we wanted or what would work for us immediately recommended that we sit with one of her designers Sophia a service we were not even aware was available to us had it not been for Celine’s attention to ensuring her customers get every option available. Celine’s enthusiasm for helping customers was immediately evident and she made it clear that her top priority was to ensure we found exactly what we were looking for. Meeting Sophia was a god’s send she took us under her wings with the patience and knowledge that was exemplary to put it lightly. Sophia demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the store’s product range and even opened up vendors that were not even available on their site. She patiently listened to our preferences did a 3D rendering of our room so we can actually see what the various selections would look like, she asked thoughtful questions to better understand our vision and her expertise and keen eye for design allowed her to suggest several pieces that perfectly matched our style and needs. She meticulously explained the benefits and features of each item and even offered practical advice on how to arrange the furniture to maximize the space and enhance the room’s overall aesthetics. This made finding the perfect room so much easier and if that was not enough she went above and beyond and even worked with her manager to get us a steal of a deal on some floor sample pieces (now there is customer service!!) Both Celine and Sophia exhibited exceptional professionalism and a positive attitude throughout the entire experience. They were always approachable, patient and willing to go the extra mile to address any concerns or questions we had even after the transactions were completed. My only disappointment was not with Sophia or Celine but I found out that since we initially went to a different location and the associate their took our info their was going to be a split which I could not understand why since if it was not for these two amazing ladies we would have taken our business to one of their competitors so sad but amazingly they did not even say a word about that to me and I found out after the fact. Regardless I believe both Celine and Sophia are an invaluable asset to Haverty’s and I would recommend anyone seeking expert guidance and exceptional service in their furniture shopping experience to seek out this dream team. Thank you very much ladies and see you in our next project the dining room ?

Everyone’s worked with were wonderful! From the first step into the store we loved Julie Urbaez. Genuine, nice, and listened to what we wanted. She brought in Karen to help design the rooms. Fantastic. I recommend the team and the products. We are very happy with everything!
