I ordered my elderly mother a Christmas dinner to be delivered on the 24th of Dec between the hours of 8am to 9am. At 7.59 am on the 24th Door dash Sent me a text saying that the store had canceled the order. I live in Jacksonville FL and was sick so I could not get to my mother in Ft Lauderdale to prepare dinner for her for Christmas. This was a disaster my brother had to rush to the store to purchase food to make sure my mother had dinner. This was unexceptable and quite stressful for my elderly mother. I have been calling corporate since the 26th of December with no luck of speaking with anyone.

Honey baked ham is really good. We usually get one for thanksgiving & Christmas family meals. Way easier (and better) than cooking the turkey all day.Get it 3-4 days early and avoid the line (which can get huge). The 1st year I went the day before and there was a huge line, police for crowd. Just craziness. People REALLY like these hams. And they are very good.The Fort Lauderdale store is easier to get in and out of than the store out west.

My Thanksgiving order was royally messed and handled wrong every step of the way after. About 2 weeks before the holiday I called to order. I ordered a whole turkey and a breast. When asked when I would like to pick it up I asked if the turkey would be frozen or not. I was told it would be fully defrosted and that it didn’t even need to be heated. With that information I decided to pick it up Wednesday. I also asked if I paid on the phone or when I got there. I was told when I got there and got a confirmation number. So today i walked into the store. Huge line for orders that needed to be paid for and a small quick moving line for pre-paid. When I got to the front I was informed by the cashier that my turkey was frozen and would take 3-4 days to defrost safely in the fridge. When I expressed my frustration the cashier informed me we were in the same boat with not much of a holiday since he had to work that day. At that point I asked for a manager. A manager came and told me she had a few partially defrosted turkeys and could sell me one. Bingo! Holiday saved. Well they didn’t have plain roasted only smoked. I thanked her for the effort and explained I needed the plain roasted. She went into the back to get my order, she bagged it and sent me on my way with my frozen turkey. When I got home to begin defrosting it in water I saw that she gave me a smoked turkey. I immediately called the store to inform them of the error and that I was 45 minutes round trip away. Not much sympathy for their second error. When I returned to the store I was kept waiting several minutes for the manager. When she finally came out she was slow talking me like I had made a big error and she needed to slowly explain her ways. She also stopped half way through helping me to help a cashier ring up an order that was confusing him. After listening and her about to walk away I informed her of the mistakes that had been made and of the terrible customer service. I let her know that at this point I wanted nothing but as the GM at some point she should have offered me a free dessert or side or something for my time to return to the store. At that point she took a coupon out for a free sandwich on a fire visit. I gave it to the man next to me and told her her store had 3 separate incidents of horrible customer service with her being the worst and a bad example for her staff. I also informed her I would be posting this review.

Picked up an order today and Adam was very patient and helpful on this crazy busy day. Going out of his way try try to help with all the walk in orders.

Seamless process this morning. Pre-ordered online. Arrived and team member was there greet and open door for you, Joyce greeted me and was pleasant. Scanned QR code, gave me confirmation, retrieved items and sent me on my way. Door was opened again and a sincerely “thank you, have a blessed day” upon exit. In and out in under 2 min. Observed other team members being kind, patient and informative to other customers. Very well organized. Great experience today.Kid-friendliness: Entire team was kind and genuinely polite.

I placed my order for delivery at least a week early. First, I was called two days before the event and the person kept saying it was Pick up order and I kept correcting her as I initially placed the order online and received an accurate confirmation with items, date, time and address. Then on the day of the event I had to call the store when I realized the food had not arrived. They had the address wrong and the order despite it being submitted online with all accurate information. Plus they had the wrong time even though I’m in the same timezone, so if I had not called we never would’ve gotten our order. The food was extremely late and we had the mayor and commissioner at our event. They didn’t even get to eat, because he had to go to his next meeting. When they finally brought the food the order was wrong. In addition to the sandwiches, I ordered box salads. Lazily, the staff must have thrown a bulk salad in the bag which no one could eat even if they wanted to as no plates and silverware were even brought. Absolutely horrible service and the person on the phone had an attitude despite the entire fault being caused by them.

Great experience at this HoneyBaked Ham Company.. Laurie provided excellent service to us, she told us about the reward points.. So sweet and pleasant, I thought she was the Manager! So knowledgeable, kind and made our day .. We will be driving to this store ??
