Huizenga Plaza is a beautiful and pleasant place for a walk along the river in Fort Lauderdale. It is a truly walkable, atmospheric, and ideal setting to admire the river, observe the boats and yachts, and enjoy the calming, exotic view. The place is perfect for a relaxing break, offering peace and quiet. It is great for reading, drinking coffee, walking a dog, or spending the day with family or friends. With plenty of seating and nice shade from the trees, it provides a rejuvenating experience. The area has a European vibe and sometimes hosts free events like yoga or concerts on its stage. It is a recommended and enjoyable spot for pedestrians.

This park is great. Lots of green space, a dog park, a beautiful fountain that lights up at night, and the best part….clean public bathrooms😍 there’s also a cute viewing area by the river to watch the boats go by.
