“ALLIED KITCHEN & BATH REVIEW

We recently completed a major renovation in our condo apartment and my husband and I cannot stop praising the wonderful job that Allied Kitchen & Bath did. Our primary home is in NJ and although we visited the condo while under construction a couple of times to see the progress, we depended upon the concierge service we were promised and, with Lewis Reif at the helm of our project and Adam Hanson managing the construction, Allied DELIVERED!

We had heard about Allied’s great reputation from other owners in our building but I called with no particular recommendation to a designer. My first conversation was with one of the owners, Bill, who told me that he would have his “best designer”, Lewis Reif, call me. We could not agree more with the designation of “best designer”! Working with Lewis Reif was wonderful! He was extremely knowledgeable, patient and thoughtful and LISTENED to our expressed desires. Our major concern was to have an end product that was not just beautiful to look at but fully functional for our needs. Lewis came up with the ideas to make it happen! If Allied did not do it or sell it in house, Lewis had referrals for everything from a stone warehouse to a painter to someone who would move furniture which we wanted to store temporarily in other rooms in our apartment.

Allied had just about every aspect of a renovation covered with a showroom full of all the necessary components. Helen Brazeau in the accessories department was immensely knowledgeable, helpful and patient with choosing bathroom and kitchen fixtures, cabinet handles and door handles as well as advising on lighting fixtures.

The planning process was never rushed. Everyone with whom we worked gave us all the time and consideration we wanted so that we could make thoughtful and well-advised choices. We took down most of a wall between our kitchen and dining/living room, redid the powder room, changed the flooring throughout those areas as well as two hallways, and minimally dropped the ceilings so as to accommodate recessed lighting.

Lewis and Adam wanted to get everything right and were always willing to go the extra mile to get the results. That continued throughout the project. Team Allied did not make unilateral decisions on site. They contacted us for approval whenever something was in question. (Placement of cabinet handles for example.) When construction began Lewis and Adam checked on the apartment every week and called (often on site) with an update. That was in addition to the official weekly email update from Denyse Lake on the progress. Pictures showing the progress was standard.

Typical of condos, there were many rules to follow at our building. Our building manager said she had never seen a better or more complete filing. Every form was perfect and a full package of permits were obtained so work could begin on schedule. During construction, our building management and neighbors only had kudos for Allied.

Every detail was considered in advance and everything was ready to go when the construction date arrived. Allied has a wonderful team and everyone did their part in a professional and serious manner. Adam Hanson, the project manager, kept things running smoothly and always responded to phone calls, texts or emails.
Work and inspections stayed on schedule and we were able to move back into our apartment on the promised date!

Even after the work was officially complete, Allied has been responsive with the minor items on our “punch list”.

Yes, this is a 5 Star Rave Review and I would recommend Allied Kitchen & Bath to anyone in the greater Fort Lauderdale area who is interested in renovating their residence. Our condo looks gorgeous and is enjoyable! Thank you to every member of the Allied Team!”

We had a huge issue with a bathroom that other contractors had left in a really bad state. We did a full renovation with DL. They were super responsive, knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Hands down the best contractors if you want to do a bathroom renovation. They will guide you and be honest.
