I had brought a previous pet in to them many years ago and had to put him down. At that time the staff was so compassionate and did such a great job in explaining my options I was grateful. I just brought another of my dogs in with the same symptoms. I was distraught, thought I would lose her. My girl has never been sick in her 12 years. The staff called me to update me through the night, I was allowed back in the treatment room where I could visit with my girl while she was in an oxygen chamber. My dog had pneumonia in both her lungs, had pulmonary hypertension. I read online the outcome of a flare-up. Not good. They were able to treat her and she is back home with me. The entire staff is top notch. Caring, compassionate, knowledgeable. Very glad I brought her there.

Update: answer to the Owner who commented on my review, please read my review prior to commenting because if the hospital acted as a triage and treated emergencies, our kittens would have been checked because of the the severity of their situation when we came in!!!!what makes you think our kittens weren’t an emergency situation?!!!! your nurse or vet didn’t even bother checking them and your nurse took one glance only because I had to basically scream 3 hours after being there at the front desk for him to come out it hiding and he then decided he knew what was wrong without even touching them! Also and FYI, his diagnosis which he shouldn’t have even given in the first place as he is a nurse/technician/aid not an actual vet was completely wrong!!!!so please refrain from saying we treat emergencies and a triage because that night, blue pearl and the people that were working that shift def didn’t as our pets were an emergency situation!!!!and your nurse shouldn’t diagnose as he is not qualified for it!!!!if he wants to be a vet then he should go back to school, because that misdiagnosis can affect the pet’s future health and therefore have your hospital investigated for hiring unqualified people in the first place!!!!!!Absolutely horrible service, definitely avoid the place at all cost. The nurse whose name is Wagner(if that’s True) but I’ll describe him so people know, no hair, wears glasses, has a big Attitude on him and he acts like mister knows it all. Comes to us 30 min after we are checked in, doesn’t take the vitals of the two kittens, or check them, just takes a look at them and gives a diagnosis, then leaves the room, and says I’ll be back to take their vitals shortly, you have to wait for the night vet to come in 2h as the current vet is working 2 emergencies and won’t be able to see you. I said fine I’ll wait as long as their vitals are Checked and they are not running a fever as it happened to one of our cats before and he had 104 fever so they had to treat him first before anyone else because the kittens are lethargic, not eating or drinking or doing anything and were vomiting all day. He left, never came back two Hours later, the night vet comes to the office, we don’t see her, then nurse comes back to us and is like we have an emergency, we can’t check them yet, you have to wait longer, then walks away. I go to the front desk, ask the receptionist, is this a joke, we have been waiting for over 2 hours, the cats vitals haven’t even been checked. She calls the nurse who comes to me with attitude, they’re fine they don’t have a fever it’s probably just worms, I have been doing this for a long time, you want me to take them I can all of this while screaming at me. I’m like I’m sorry, you have X-rays through you eyes that you can diagnose just by looking at them. Long story short, they made us wait almost another 3 hours, because every time he kept delaying it on purpose, calling emergencies that don’t exist instead of taking the cats in. So in the 5 Hours we were in, we never saw the vet, not even once, so we ended up leaving and going to another emergency vet on federal highway who was a million times better because obviously they didn’t care about the well being of our kittens. The receptionist apologized, and said she sent a message to the manager letting him know what happened, because no sick pet should wait over 2 hours to have their vitals checked when it’s an emergency. Bottom line they want to charge a $189 per visit for you to wait 5 hours and not be seen. Also Wagner took in a friend who came in just to spite us ahead of us as well. Take your business elsewhere, also the other place we went to, they take $125 for the visit, and were super polite, friendly, and didn’t have wait 5hours and most importantly cared about our Pets!

My dog was panting, shaking and throwing up with diarrhea so I called BluPearl and rushed over there. Everyone was very nice and super helpful. They explained to me the process and what was needed. I was extremely happy with all staff members during this time of need. My dog Zeke is ok now and back to normal. His blood work came back negative! Huge thank you to everyone at BluPearl!!

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with the BluePearl team. Every single person I interacted with during my dogs diagnosis, surgery and overnight stay has been exceptional—so loving, so caring and so professional. Going to an emergency vet is typically a stressful experience but they really made me feel so at ease. My pup also always seemed calm and relaxed when I picked her up after her visits. They even brushed her out and gave her pretty bows. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my girl!

Any visit to an emergency vet is going to be emotionally taxing as we are worried about our little fur babies. The staff was excellent and caring. The doctor knowledgeable and clear. It really couldn’t have gone better. Max was fine after his visit.

The cardiologist that I work with there is exceptional, polite, and informative The girls at the front were literally sneering at me. Felt like I was in high school. It was so weird when I was dripping a couple hundred for my animal to be seen. Like that just isn't how customer service works lol Clean facility!

I appreciate blue pearl animal hospital so very much. I unfortunately have had two separate pet incidents that brought me to their facilities. One was a cancer surgery. With that experience, the evaluation and treatment was explained to me thoroughly. I understood the procedure and prognosis, very clearly, and appreciated the honesty of the doctor. The love for my pet was so very visible. Even after she died, the staff all remembered her and was, so loving over a year later just to care for her. My next incident was a true pet emergency and the doctor diagnosed treated and involved me in the emergency process so quickly. I visited my pet at all hours of the day and called at all hours of the day. Each time I was received with kindness and patience. The staff was so loving with my puppy and was very honest with her Dyer situation. They used multiple outside resources in her treatment and seemed very knowledgeable with everything they had to do for her. I recommend the doctors there as we saw many of them over the course of treatment while we were in patient Under their care. Thank you so much Blue Pearl Er.

We had an emergency situation with our dog who ate an entire loaf of cinnamon raisin bread and I was in a panic. our regular vet was closed so we called BluePearl and they were immediately helpful and guided us on what to do. Once we got him there, they had him back within 5 minutes. All the staff were very friendly and helpful to my husband and I, and most importantly, to our dog. Prices were very reasonable, facility was very clean and nice. Would definitely recommend-thank you guys for helping our sweet Finchy boy, happy we came across this place.

My dogs kidney levels were insanely high for his age - he just turned 1. And my vet who has 30 years of experience and is top rated in the state told me to go to an internist bc it was that bad and got worse over 2 weeks . I was referred to Dr Cannon (internist). No appointments for 2 months so I asked if I could go through the ER today and if it was bad I could see the internist. They said yes. Here’s my review:- If your dog needs any internal medicine care (belly, kidneys, etc) do not go any other day except Mon - Thurs as their internist isn’t there and your dog needs to be on deaths doorstep (I mean literal death per the doctor) to summon them on call and they will still charge you $1000 minimum to determine that regardless of the same work you just had done 10 hours prior and even still - it’s up to their discretion. Only their doctor accepts their own ultrasounds (not from your equally qualified vet on the same equipment and of course this place charges $700 - FYI this isn’t even complaint with HUMAN medicine standards/pricing which are far more complex). The internists have 0 regular appointments for 2+ months out and according to the reviews below - just go somewhere else.- If you go outside of the timeline provided above they will make you sit in the lobby for 2 hours with 0 patients in there (it was dead inside) and then charge you $167 intake to JUST weigh your dog against your wishes even if they were weighed 10 hours prior at your vet even when they have the records sent to them. They will lie to you on the phone and mislead you entirely. They tried to get me to pay $500 for blood work that was performed 10 hours prior by the vet and sent to them and when I told my vet - I was told to get out of there immediately. These people lured me in under the guise of being able to see the internist then took my dog in to weigh him (when I said he was weighed 10 hours ago) against my will just to charge me and then tell me after 2 hours that the internist wasn’t there. But wait, it gets better.- Dr Patel has 0 bedside manner. I’d rather deal with a prison physician. She was truly horrible and I’ve dealt with physicians for humans and pets in 10 countries.- Kim at the front desk is wonderful and so are the nurses. The doctors are terrible and try to upcharge the life out of you and then when you ask common sense questions like “why would I have this done today for $1500 when you just said you’re going to make me come back on Monday around your doctors schedule to do it all over again and try keep my dog over the weekend when you just said this wasn’t acute and didn’t warrant an on call internist” they get mad - RUN.I thought human medicine was bad. This is 10x worse. Run. Unless your pet is missing a literal eyeball or something so brazen that it’s a visible lawsuit if they reject them - do not go here. Even then, they are so understaffed even when it’s dead, you’ll be waiting 2+ hours and they will run you around and take advantage. It was truly disheartening, cold, and a gross experience overall. You couldn’t pay me to return here. I’d rather drive 20 miles out of the way that’s how disgusting this experience was.

We brought our 1 year old dachshund here very last minute because he got a hold and swallowed one of my hair scrunchies and being someone who consideres there pets as family I was very worried on what to do, we brought him to blue pearl where we were brought it pretty quickly, an x-ray was done and he was induced to vomit and they got the scrunchie out! Overall was a 30 minute process and the staff was very friendly and he is doing good! Would recommend to anyone!

They made a very emotional and scary situation as pleasant as possible. Our 8 pound Pomeranian collapsed at 1am after having diarrhea and vomiting for less than a day...he got very sick, very quickly. They were honest, caring and compassionate and also understood our financial situation. They examined him right away, explained the issues and gave us an estimate quickly. He was admitted for 24 hours for severe dehydration, diarrhea and vomiting. They kept us up to date throughout the day and thankfully we were able to bring him home the following night. Every single person we encountered was a true professional who acted like we were regular patients even though it was our first time there. We know that without them our little guy would not have had a good outcome. In reviewing the bill, while overall it was expensive, nothing was excessive...our guy just needed a lot of emergency intervention to get better. Less than a week later he is almost back to normal. We are so thankful for everyone at Blue Pearl for taking care of our little guy.

This place was horrible. We took our dog who was under duress and couldn't breathe. We sat for hours as they supposedly treated him. The night vet came out to us 3 times. She couldn't finish a sentence. We thought she was either sleeping or on something. They went and told us he needed x rays. Well when the vet came out she told us his belly is filled and he has diarrhea. We came in for his breathing. She's like this is a bad computer to see his x rays on so I'm not sure what to say. We will give him something for his stomach. He's 17 1/2 years old and he's struggling to breathe but you're worried about his stomach. Thru had him in there for 4 hours in a cage. He pooped all over himself. They told us they need to clean him up before we can see him. I opened the door and there he is in a cage. I demanded he be taken out and given back to us. My dog passed the next day. They finally at the end said we will give him something for his cough. It took 4 hours and $1000s of dollars to be told heres some cough medicine. I would never go there again. The vet that came out to our house was shocked how he was misdiagnosed but a vet who has no right working there. We sat in the waiting room with 4 other people who were just as upset as we were. I knew we were in the wrong place when a man walked in with a kitten whose leg got stuck in a fence. He was told he had to put down a $800 deposit. He said he didn't have it so they sent him home with a poor kitten who was obviously in bad shape. It's all about the money in this place. They just kept on adding in to the bill for no reason. We have dealt with so many vets over the years and never had such a bad experience as we did 3 nights ago. They had the nerve to call and say how's he doing. We said he passed. See ok. So you don't need additional medicine? All about the . Please don't bring your pets here. Disgraceful when the vet is so off she can't speak a full sentence.
