It’s the best place to stay on the beach. The hotel staff was amazing. Rafael Manager goes out of his way to make sure your stay is perfect. They have the best tiki bar on the beach. Nice Italian restaurant and spa, gift shop, everything you could want. Even valet parking is a good deal. I’ve been coming here for many years. It’s simply the best deal you can find. Clean rooms and friendly people.

We stayed here for 1 week over spring break with our 4 small children. I do not recommend this resort to families. The college/spring break atmosphere was at times, out of control. A fight broke out on the resort beach, we reported full cans of beer being thrown from the 9th floor onto the pool area midday. We were unable to enjoy the balcony with our kids due to bad language screamed across balconies throughout the day. At night, the bar was very loud when sitting outside, we couldn’t hear the ocean well and thus didn’t want to spend a lot of time out there. Coming from the snowy Midwest hopeful to enjoy the ocean sounds, this was a big negative for us.The icing on the cake was when one night after 11pm we called the front desk as there was a loud party going on next door to us with people screaming “put that down, it’s expensive!” While our kids were trying to sleep. The front desk’s response was “this is Fort Lauderdale during spring break, it’s going to be loud and rowdy at this time”. Considering the website says “100% family friendly”, I would respectfully disagree and would never recommend this place to my family or friends.Suggestions: either change your website language so as not to mislead young families, or 1- have a strong, active security presence to disallow the behavior that went on the entire week and 2- shut the bar down or at least turn the music down to a “family friendly” level at a family acceptable time.

We booked the beach cabana for a day for 4 adults this past weekend. For $175 you get a “cabana” for 10 hours and a $50 voucher to the tiki bar. The cabana is very disappointing overall. No view of the ocean (picture attached is the view… of a gated pool), not close to the beach, nothing really worth paying for in my opinion. We ended up not using it and booked chairs and umbrellas on the beach for an additional $75.

Old old hotel. Clean but no desk to do hair or use your lap top. Vanity not at all attractive and bedding sub par. Pool was dirty every day. Wedding on deck great but started one hour LATE and ended without extension. Spring break STAY AWAY kids screaming at all hours housekeeping 2 times I. 6 days save your moneyNoteworthy details: Very old designed very poorly staff try but too much money for poor beds no amenities

So little background about me, I'm a very thoughtful and contemplative person - and I care about the details. If it weren't for the surface, I would give this hotel 3/5 because of the lack of details, punctuated with the overpriced and watered down drinks at the tiki bar.Overall it was a very pleasant experience, but for the price the rooms, left little to be desired. It was nice having a mini fridge and an induction stove with pots and pans, however the counters and fixtures had clear signs of water damage that had just been painted over. Not to mention the yellow tinted water, small bathrooms, and no shower curtain (so water splashes everywhere). It was one of those "contemporary"/ european showers with a glass pane covering just 3 feet of shower space and no door or curtain at the end.And also there was sand on the clean bed sheets. I know we're at a beach resort, but what's up with that? Let me bring in my own sand at least lol.On quality of the hotel, this felt like one of the older hotels with renovations that only put lipstick on a pig - don't be fooled by the nice lobby pictures. The room show signs of wear and tear.Lastly, the bed sheets/ comforter were awful and I mean awful. Polyester that does not breathe. I woke up sweating both nights we stayed.Tiki bar food was super, just expensive. If you're traveling with a person I would suggest splitting a meal that way you can splurge on booze. I'd recommend either wine, or bottled / canned beer to make sure you're not getting shorted. The mixed drinks were 100% watered down. Now for the desk staff - they freaking rocked. Despite being mobbed by ignorant college kids traveling for spring break, they maintained a can-do attitude without really showing the amount of stress they were under. Because of how awesome the desk staff was, that earned back another star, giving a total review score of 4/5.

This room SUCKEDDDDD. Sorry but it’s true. The minute you entered the room it smelled like standing water, the baseboards had obvious water damage and there was a puddle of water in the hallway from the bedroom to the bathroom. Upon our inspection of the room we realized the window opened completely and we were on the 7th floor! With how many drunk spring breakers stay here it’s an accident waiting to happen. Pool water looked nasty, the water in the room was tinged yellow and you can hear everything in the hallway. We were warned upon check in that it was spring break but honestly the spring breakers were the least annoying thing about this hotel ?The front desk workers were nice enough and the walk to the beach is unbeatable, but really the rooms are atrocious!

We booked the Ocean Manor as a place to hang after our cruise and before our flight home. The pictures of the cabanas looked great, large with plenty of comfortable seating. The cabana also included a shower. Here is my take away. The cabana was very small and seating was uncomfortable. The cabana was probably a 5 foot by 6 foot room. Not enough for 2 teen age boys. The shower was gross and the drain was a hole in the floor. We did have outside seating and that was OK if you don’t mind stray cats roaming around. The pool wasn't great and beach was OK. The adults ended up sitting at the Tiki Bar. The bar was the highlight of the day. The service was great and the drinks and food were good. If I could give the bar 5 stars I would! This resort was not what we expected. If you have young kids, this is not the place you want to book. We had teenagers so we made the best of the situation (by sitting at the bar)!!

If you are looking for a good night rest, clean rooms, and friendly staff. This is not the place to go. The rooms are run down, walls are paper thin, beds are cheap futon like, the sink in the bathroom was literally cracked with a big hole in it. The remodel job looks old hardly any grout in the tiles... this is like a dive hotel. The draw to this place is the and tiki bar, little restaurant on site, and beach access. Food was okay and beach access is nice but it is so poorly maintained it isn't even worth $100/night let alone in the $300's. All night music blaring, carts rolling down the hallways, SOMETHING??? that sounded like someone running a vacuum outside the door all night. The rooms literally have bed(s) a dresser, one night stand, and a little table and all of it cheap-cheap-cheap. I would not recommend bringing children here and i would not recommend staying here if you need to get to the airport or cruise port early because you hear everything going on outside your room. Very, very disappointing. This shouldn't be a hotel, they should just make a restaurant, bar, beach access. It was terribleRooms: Terrible! Not clean, not maintained, walls paper thin.Safety: Shady crowd in the bar (open to public) - not for children!Food & drinks: Expensive and of fair qualityNoteworthy details: Not worth the money. You do not get a good rest here because of all the noise. - worst hotel I've enter stayed in!

Pool was dirty and chairs were crammed, waitresses at tiki bar ignore u, the info in the binder in your room was wrong, we were given two room keys that were supposed to be used for access, but when we got there we needed to punch in a code, which we weren’t given, no coffee maker in the room or lobby ( unless u purchase at 7, when the coffee shop opens) Only two good things, the ocean view from our room and the Italian restaurant. Don’t waste your time or money.
