If you like to see "let's go Brandon" apparel....this place is for you. They allow filming for "influencers" on the floor, so people hog equipment and film. This type of behavior should be banned in all gyms or, at the very least, only allowed at designated times/off hours. The gym gets overwhelmingly packed even at off hours and you do have to wait for equipment or come back to it. The equipment is in fine shape and well maintained. However, the cost is laughable for what you get. For a one month pass it was $160, which is up from $100 last year. It is not remotely worth that price. You would be better off at LA Fitness, Crunch, or Titan.

This gym is a joke.To begin with management is absolutely horrible, the manager does not know how to talk to members, she is rude, it’s like she is attacking them when they try to complain about something or when you often see her treating employees poorly in front of members.Night shift front desk employees are also rude and with bad attitudeYou pay for towels and there are no towels and they come up with the worst excuses, same thing with broken machines…They are always out of water, or water fountain is broken.Management has to go period

So, I've been a member of PowerHouse Fort Lauderdale (Galleria Mall) since they opened. When they were signing up members in the mall before they opened. It was a Great Club then... best club in Fort Lauderdale actually. Great layout, Great Machines, Attentive staff. Yes at the beginning the club opening staff would be late sometimes, but those were opening hiccups. Fast forward to today! 1/12/2024.... Bad... not the worst club but not the best. The servicing of the club is poor, you come in first thing in the morning at 5am opening and somehow the combination lockers are locked. No staff goes around to resolve this daily because there is no overnight locker storage. It's most clean, but maintenance of equipment can be slow. Now, if it was a $10 month membership this may be a good value... but it much more than $10 a month. So, today I canceled the Towel Service portion of my membership... the service has not been good. You pay for towels and there are no towels... so I have to bring a backup towel in case there are no towels! How insane is that. And you don't get a refund for the service you pay for and can't use! So I guess I should just use my backup towel as my only towel. I wish the club would get back to its foundation of service. I'm close to just leaving because other clubs are arriving as Fort Lauderdale is blowing up in growth....

I liked this gym. Plenty of machines, dumbbells and power racks. They also have an area where you can buy protein drinks and energy bars. Coming from out of town I came two days in a row and purchased two day passes. I believe it was $20 for the day. The only thing I didn’t like was on the second day I wanted to get a towel to use on the machines but was told it would be $10 to rent a towel for the day. I just asked if I could buy a towel, I wouldn’t mind spending more than $10 for a small towel if I could keep it. But spending $10 to rent a towel for 1 hour in order to stay hygienic seems silly. I hope they figure out a new method of towel rentals in the future or at least have an option to buy one. Besides that nice gym and I would go back.

Used to be really good.I can no longer justify spending $60-$70+ a month for a gym that isn't 24/7, broken machines everywhere, packed all the time, sauna has been broken for over a month now, ripped up floors, the list goes on and on. I recently cancelled my membership. For that price everything should be pristine, which it used to be. The above feeling is shared by a large number of previous/current PH members.

Whenever I am in Fort Lauderdale, I love coming to this gym to get a workout in. Their daily pass was $20 today and their front desk associate Alex was very nice. Their equipment is awesome: dumbbells up to 150 lbs, squat racks with bumper plates, and a variety of good weightlifting machines to use. The energy at this gym is also awesome. Definitely recommend this place!!!

My 15-month membership at Powerhouse had its highs and lows, and I regret to say that I cannot wholeheartedly recommend it for the following reasons: **Pros:** - Spacious with high ceilings. - Friendly front desk staff. **Cons:** - They impose a steep cancellation fee of up to $150 even after being a member for 12 months. - The gym is consistently overcrowded. - Maintenance issues were frequent, with 4-5 machines out of order simultaneously, sometimes taking well over a month or two - if not more- to repair ( pics attached were taken at a same day) - The management left much to be desired, often coming off as rude and inattentive. - Cleanliness standards were disappointingly low. Overall, my experience left me feeling disheartened, especially when faced with the unexpected cancellation fee after being a loyal member for over a year. This was quite unlike my experiences at other gyms, and it was a letdown.

Very good gym, pretty clean, good equipment. My issue was ending my membership after being member for almost 4 years. Went in person to close. Got receipt Thank God!. Gym then failed to cancel membership and kept charging me. My call with a female manager was the absolute worst and demeaning phone call with a customer service situation. Her obnoxious and boorish manner was totally unacceptable towards a customer. Thankfully, that receipt saved me and the gym finally reversed the charges even though the manager said that there was no chance the gym would refund me. I even contacted Powerhouse Corporate to advise of the incredibly poor customer, service. Just be careful when you end your membership.

Worst gym in the city broken mirrors, broken equipment. Everybody's on their phone talking at the top of their lungs or on steroids, banging weight or in the bathroom taking selfies of their ass.

This was a great gym when I joined in 2019. The problem now is that it is not being maintained despite the fact that it is very popular. These photos were all taken today at 12:30. Multiple equipment has been broken for weeks. This is common. The sauna has been shut down for a week. They don't say what's wrong and have no idea when it will be fixed. They clearly have the membership base needed to keep up with necessary repairs but don't seem to be interested in that. One other thing: some areas have equipment placed so close together that, when it's busy, causes friction bet members.

I recently joined Powerhouse Gym in Fort Lauderdale and I have to say, I'm impressed with their facility. My first impression was how clean and new-looking the gym is - they really take care of the place. There are many types of updated equipment to choose from. Also, the exfoliating scrub in the women’s locker room is invigorating!I decided to try out the group workout class. The instructor, Robbie, was knowledgeable and helped me get a great workout. What really stood out to me was the fantastic customer service I received from Kenji, who checked me in on my first day. He was welcoming and friendly, which made me feel comfortable right away. Thank you, Kenji!Overall, I highly recommend Powerhouse Gym in Fort Lauderdale for anyone looking for a great-looking and well-equipped gym and friendly staff.

We have been trying to cancel our membership for the past 4 months and submitted the appropriate paperwork. We were finally able to get in touch with a manager today who told us this would be taken care of and we would receive confirmation via email. We still have not received the confirmation which was promised. Why is it so hard to cancel this membership?
