“Quick turnaround when you need prints and presentation boards fast! In my line of work, a reliable printing place is the epitome to having plans to submit, making deadlines, and being able to show presentation boards during meetings. Thomas Printworks is where we send our black and white 24x36 plans to be printed when a) the large format plotter in the office is being temperamental and isn't working, b) the client wants 12 sets at 50+ sheets each, or c) on the rare occasion when we unexpectedly run out of plotter paper or toner. We don't have a large format color printer at the office, so all of our 24x36 or 30x48 colored prints are also sent to TP to be printed, and sometimes printed and mounted for presentations. When it comes to presentation boards, we're usually in a time crunch. Despite this, Ian has always come through for us - even when we provide the file (via email) in the morning or early afternoon and ask for the board to be ready for pick up a couple hours later. This is something I really appreciate since I'm usually the one tasked to create the image board, illustrative site plan, etc., send to print, and pick it up in time for a meeting. When my husband needed to print plans for his work, Thomas Printworks was the first place I thought of. He's been using them ever since - including coil bound 11x17 color booklets for a client meeting, 24x36 plan sets, etc. I don't personally have to pay for the prints as they're billed to clients or my husband gets reimbursed by clients, but prices are pretty reasonable. They're much lower than what you'd find at Kinkos/Fedex and Staples and you get the expertise that comes with a specialized establishment. Plus, they're considerate and wrap plans and presentation boards in plastic when it looks like it's going to rain. There's parking available on the side or in back.”
