I hate giving a bad review because of one little thing - but sometimes one little thing just totally destroys a retailer's credibility. So here we go with my one little thing..This Publix (maybe all of them?) sells a fresh store-baked bread that is listed on its label as CHEESE BREAD. But I think maybe the label is wrong, because it really should be labelled: cheese BREAD.. or maybe "Where's-the-cheese? bread". Because, yes, it reminds me of those old TV ads where the lady can barely see the burger patty inside the giant bun and asks "Where's the beef?"I'm talking a big loaf of white bread the size of a football.. with a little squirt of cheese in the center that's the size of a ping-pong ball. You have to tear away a lot of plain white bread to reach the cheesy part.Is this Publix's general strategy for baked goods? Do they sell cherry pies that are mostly crust and have like four cherries' worth of filling in the exact center? An eclair the size of a jumbo hot dog, with filling like a cocktail frank? How can the bakery manager sell such an inferior product that barely lives up to its own name?Ok, I didn't look that closely at this thing before I tossed it in my cart, shame on me.. and now I'm out $4.29 because of it (I guess I can avoid declaring bankruptcy despite this). But I sure don't feel so good about patronizing this store right now. It's a bit farther to Trader Joe's but I *know* I can trust *them*.One little thing wrong... credibility destroyed.

This Publix is by far the best Publix in Fort Lauderdale. Everything is very clean and organized and the staff are friendly. All the isles are stocked and the staff will help you find anything you can't locate. Can't wait to go back soon.

I think the manager of the store is excellent but some of the cashiers let customers take up the lines by holding the customers carts while they get forgotten items and then make other customers stand and wait until that person returns

I love this Publix....It's located between the beaches and downtown, so the location is very convenient as you drive on Sunrise. The parking lot is huge and the store itself is large and bright.I was coming from downtown and decided to get some prepared foods to take home...the people at the deli were nice and polite. Can't go wrong with their prepared foods, great prices, great choices, nicely done.....

What is customer service? Laziest of lazy at the deli. Horrible attitudes. They definitely do not want to be there and it shows. Slow pace on purpose.

My experience this morning at Publix was frustrating. I only needed to buy a few items under ten. See the pic I posted of the person ahead of me and not a single employee addressed the matter. They offer an express check out lane with a well lit sign stating "ten items or less" and it's almost never enforced. What they should do is contact someone at corporate who can then send a memo to all Publix locations in regards to this matter and see that it is enforced.

I used to come to this Publix quite a bit , actually every single week but after today I won't come here again. I had my wallet stolen from my purse , which granted was open and it was in my shopping cart. Luckily the didn't take my handbag with everything else but they did take my wallet. I had been told by another shopper a year or so ago that "this Publix was ghetto " and to "watch my purse" and I guess I should have listened.I made a police report but when do they ever catch these thieves? I let the manager know and he kind of said to take it up with the police and walked away. The cashiers and baggers were actually more concerned than the manager at this place or the security guard. For that reason alone I won't be coming back to this store.I had already had bad experiences here with people asking me for money but theft takes the cake. And this is not the first time I've heard of people getting their purse and other things stolen. Terrible. Who wants to go to the grocery store and having anything stolen? I'm not saying it's their fault, I did have my purse open, but this happening there so many times as I hear, this had to be professionals that do this all the time. And apparently, the store and management are not doing anything about it. Why have a security guard around if it's not providing any security to shoppers???Stay clear !!!

This place is okay. Price points are a bit high. It provides all your basic essentials along with wine and beer. Not sure if it's the supply chain issue but I've never seen price of chicken so expensive at roughly a bit over $4 per pound. French baguette is a steal at $1 per loaf. Staff are friendly enough. Saw a few shoplifters while I was there on my vacation and twice I even saw employees chase after them out the store. Homeless population seem to enjoy hanging out here and helping themselves to merchandise.

On vacation, decided to get a few things to have in our hotel room. Selection of seltzers and beers was ok. Wine selection good. We got some pineapple chunks, those were good. We also got grapes, when we opened them at hotel we noticed that they had fungus growing. We didnt go back because it made no sense to spend more money on an Uber.

I don't care much for going to Publix. But this day, I needed bread and it was right next to the UPS I was going to. I only wanted bread. Such a basic item and it wasn't labeled on the isle markers up top. 3 rounds to the whole place and ended up asking an employee 'cause it's not labeled. I just don't trust their pricing strategies, especially with the produce, many things are super overpriced. Went in, got what I needed and got out. It's in a super busy area so there's traffic all around. Much rather Trader Joe's, it's a fun place
