Rooms outdated and overpriced. Used bar of soap left at sink. Loud noise from parking lot in rear and smell of Marijuana coming though Crack in door. Stayed here 4x in past with no issues. Won't be back.Rooms: Outdated and overpriced. Used soap in soap dishNearby activities: Very limited. Not much within walking distanceSafety: Room in rear are adjacent to sketchy parking lot. Did not feel safe with just traveling with women.Walkability: Not much to do within walking distance. Would need to UberFood & drinks: Food on-site was ok. Typical bar food.Noteworthy details: They charged both rooms before we arrived to my card since I handled booking. My friend planned on charging her room to her charge card at check-in. Front desk refused transfer charge.

Shockingly decent! When I walked in to the lobby, I got DMV vibes. The cooler with frozen meals for sale was chain locked and they're still using homemade Covid plexiglass guards. But the service was prompt and friendly, and the room was good for the price. Very quiet. Bed was so-so. Very clean, bathroom was nicely renovated. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. I just needed a place to stay near the airport for a quick evening, so no complaints.

I've seen the owner comment several times that people have not actually stayed there. I can assure you. I did. Just in case that comes into question.Room 1217. The door does not line up/close all the way. Light and noise just pours into the room. We called twice for towels. Neither time received them. My husband ended up having to go get them. Not a big deal. What was a big deal was that someone just WALKED INTO OUR ROOM. Well, they tried to. Luckily I had it locked with the bolt thing since the door doesn't shut/lock properly. I called the front desk and they told me they would replay the tapes and figure out what happened. We got absolutely no follow up on that. Noone knocked. It wasn't our towels. They just walked in. We yelled and the door caught and they took off.The floors in the room were DIRTY. Our feet were disgusting from just a couple hours walking in it.I bet they make a killing on wine bottle openers ? as every person has to buy one from the gift shop. The shuttle hours didn't work for us as our flight was a 530a.m flight (not complaining just adding)And from other reviews I've seen other prices for early check in. Ours was $33. But then another $7 charge??? And a $100 hold. I paid upfront through a different site.We didn't have breakfast there because we had to leave bright and early so I cannot comment on that either. The room seemed clean other than the floors. The main thing is the door. It should not be a room people can use. So much light, sound and a safety concern.

Stayed here for one night before a cruise. Public facilities were dated, but clean and comfortable. Room was renovated fairly recently from what I could tell. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean. WiFi in room was weak. Shuttle service was unorganized and chaotic, but got the job done.

This hotel was a joke from the moment we arrived (we only stayed 2 hours before requesting our money back). We were given room keys to a room where there was already people in it; the man with the microphone and loudspeaker (apparently he’s the “owner”) was absolutely obnoxious, making fun of all the guests, telling inappropriate jokes in front of the kids. The hotel decor was hideous and the lobby wreaked of cheap air freshener. If I could give this place zero stars I would!

If you want to be woken up by a moron on a loudspeaker then this is the place for you.The person on the loudspeaker thought he was a comedian, but his routine was mostly ridicule towards the cruise lines and the elderly patrons. It was inappropriate.

The hotel is overpriced for the poor quality of the service . We first waited for the hotels shuttle from the airport for a long time . it arrived with a hitch for luggage and barely enough room for passengers. we waited another 45 mins to check it and it was not busy . the wifi doesn’t work well . the restaurant was terrible. the chef apparently quick and walked out while we were waiting for our food for two hours with little kids when the food came it wa awful . In the morning i tried to get something from the vending machine. it only took $1 bills and not credit cards . I had to go to the atm to get cash just to get a soda . it landed io costing me $6 for a soda with atm fees .

We stayed there the night before our cruise and it was everything it needed to be. I only knocked it on location because there really isn't anything in walking distance but the hotel, bar/restaurant, and shuttle service were great.

I absolutely loved this place! My husband and I had a long layover between getting off our cruise and our flight back home. Instead of waiting at the airport for 6hrs, we decided to rent a day room here! I absolutely enjoyed the short amount of time we were there! Shuttle driver was the bomb!! He was so organized and got us where we needed to be!! Front desk crew was amazing as well!

Call Uber!Nice staff. The hotel Provided a complimentary breakfast. Facility was modest but clean and the price is affordable.A word of advice: Would recommend you not agree to have Rodeway transport you in any way to or from the Fort Lauderdale airport. Waited close to 2 hours at the airport for the shuttle to the hotel to show. In the meantime other vans from other hotels were coming by regularly. Waited another hour or so for Rodeway Inn shuttle to arrive to transport us back to the Ft Lauderdale airport. When u call, they have a standard answer: ‘It will be anywhere between 15 and 45 minutes.’ (Take the over). The driver from the port to Ft. Lauderdale airport, I’m sure has gifts, but I can assure you that diplomacy was not among them. May be the only time I’ve not tipped. My advice? Take an Uber or sign up upon your arrival on ship to have Celebrity transport you Much, Much, faster, more congenial and less $.

This place was ghastly. We made a reservation for a 'daybreak' stay, since we got to FLL airport early in the day for an evening flight. I called; they advised us that they had plenty of availability, so we cabbed over to them.It turned out they had zero availability when we got there. We waited for along time for a room to come open and immediately wished it hadn't. It was cramped, smelled sour, and the beds were made with 'white' sheets which were well advanced into 'dingy gray'. Tried to take a shower and found that the shampoo dispenser didn;t work and there was no shower soap. The beds were so filthy that we decided finally to eat the cost and took a cab back to the airport, which was at least neat, clean, and didn't smell like something that had died in the place ages ago and had been ignored. one final note: the staff have perhaps been through some form of training designed to make them indifferent, even apathetic, to customers.I'll never, ever go near a Rodeway again. There are many chain hotels in this area and I'd bet none of them is as scuzzy, unkempt, and overall vastly distasteful as this place is. Never again.
