The Salvation Army thrift store was nice. They had so many nice sales that I hope to go back for.
I also went to the other location for their hot meal service with my oldest son but it had already shut down.
They did offer leftover baked goods from the local bakery, And there was also a day care going on, and I inquired about volunteering as well.

If you donate any money to this Salvation Army stop donating your money do not donate your money do not donate your goods they are not putting them to use to what they're supposed to be it's a scam they're taking your money and not doing what supposed to be done scam scam scam they're not even helping with rental assistance if you look on their Google they have complaints all the way from 4 years ago talking about they're not getting the assistance the rental assistance and no one's answering the phone for them no one's picking up their rude hanging up why is this organization still happening it needs to be shut down or it needs to be Under New Management
I have been trying to get help from this Salvation Army for 3 weeks straight they have a young lady they never give names who answer the phone and hangs up on you and I asked to speak to a manager I could never be to speak to a manager so I went in today which is July 16th 2024 and seek help in person so I asked to speak to a manager they sent me a camera monitoring manager so I'm sitting in there she goes to speak to the young lady who's been answering the phone and hanging up the phone I'm looking at her face expressions and she's unbothered so she comes out to speak to me why do I want to speak to you when you just gave face expressions that you're not going to listen to what I'm saying you're going to take your rude employee side so I asked to speak to a manager again no manager showed up but they were walking back and forth back and forth and I seen them walking back and forth and no one came to acknowledge me and as I'm sitting there I seen when the young lady who did not give a name put the phone on mute and put a person on hold its 9:00 they're supposed to take calls for rental assistance to help I just left out of there at 9:20 and she did not answer the phone for anyone it was still on hold and I witnessed this with my own eyes I vouched that they put other people in the building that's going to care about others not people who's going to have an attitude and hang up in your face and not even give you the help that you need very bad experience for almost 4 weeks now will this make the fourth week very bad experience still no assistance still no manager I would like for a district manager or corporate to reach out to and help me figure out what is really going on with your site I'm not giving not one star because they don't deserve it their attitude is nasty their heart is filthy and they're not really out to help anyone they put on a face the camera monitor person which will not give a name even had an attitude with security security have to check everybody that comes in the building it doesn't matter who you are she told her you don't have to check me because I monitor the cameras you a lie she has to check everybody who comes in that building no matter who you are even if you the president she still have to check you just like the airport

Great prices, Awesome clothing for ALL sizes, & Pretty good deals on different days. It's Unfortunate they are short staffed alot but STILL I recommend and am returning w/ family.

HORRIBLE - Went to my neigborhoood Salvation Army for the first time on Saturday May 18, 2024, which I was so excited to go, but only to be treated like a criminal. At checkout, I was approached in a very hostile and agressive manner after asking about a price on an item.
The manager immeidately ran over to the counter where I was conversing with the nice cashier. He was a bully, extremely rude and condescending. I told him instantly "Do not not speak to me like that".... WOW - I can only imagine how he treats the staff. Never would I return to this location and shame on Salvation Army for employing these types of people.

My wife and I recently went to buy a couple shirts and the employee there was completely rude and looked to be on some sort of drugs. While using a changing room we were berated because we shared it then it became my wife can’t use the men fitting room. At this point we were the only people in that part of the store as well as other women were using the same fitting room. Right next to us He stood around the changing room watching us so we decided to leave. If the money I’m spending in the store is going to the recovery program he belongs to we’ll keep our little ten bucks. Just went over to goodwill. Cheaper prices anyway and the employees aren’t drug addicts.

Great prices, you never know what you'll find. My Wife loves to shop for clothes here and always finds something for the Kids and herself.
