We've been going to Sea Watch 35+ years for their service and consistency. This weeks visit was our last. The host, we'll refer to him as Mr. Full of Him self, was incredibly rude. There are an abundance of terrific restaurants in Ft. Lauderdale/ Pompano area.

I liked it so much that I went twice in one week. I had the crab stuffed grouper andshrimp and scallops. Both meals were served with vegetables and new potatoes. It was very tasty.

Very good consistently made American Cuisine. A haven for tourists because of its location but also a nice change for us locals when our out-of-state guest's come to visit and stay nearby.

Ate lunch there for the first time - each of the 4 entrees was just superb. Had such a great time - returned for dinner a few days later- even better. The crab cake appy was the most delicious - pure white lump perfectly seasoned - no filler all crab, excellent. My partner had the mahi mahi - great. Just to add - we sampled key lime pie at every place we ate in Key West. The Sea Watch key lime pie was the best!

Fantastic ocean and beach view, excellent location. Well kept, old style and very charming place. Only had drinks and shared a platter of crispy calamari. I loved the soy ginger-sesame-lime-cilantro & basil aioli sauces that came with it. Brianne (or Brianna) was very friendly and a great server. She’s excellent in overseeing her tables and has time to have good conversation, funny too ;-)Will definitely come back and try out full dinner.

Sea Watch On the Ocean Restaurant - 03/24/2024My partner and I were at the restaurant this past weekend for lunch, given the excellent impression we had since the last time we visited, welcoming friends from NYC.The menu, the quality of the service, the cordiality of the staff and especially the atmosphere and the view of the sea were factors that definitely, impressed us.We made our reservation for lunch at 11:30am, this past Sunday, 03/24/2024.We were very well received by the attendant who directed us to an excellent table overlooking the sea, exactly as we had requested. We ordered our meal and drinks.Exactly as we expected, everything was excellent. When we finished our meal, dessert, and paid the bill, we went to the door, my partner suggested we should go to the upper floor to get a sense of the view from the balcony of the restaurant there. We went up and were really impressed with the view.I noticed a lot of uneasiness in a blonde woman with long hair wearing light beige clothing who seemed to us to be a manager or concierge at the restaurant. She waved her arms and quickly walked past me towards the door, visibly upset. My partner and I turned around and also headed towards the exit and there was the woman with her back holding the door open saying to us in a slightly raised voice:"Come on, Guys!!"We found her attitude strange, but we thanked her for the gesture, and went through the door.Soon after, she called one of the attendants who were nearby and following us very closely, she said to the attendant who followed her and to the front desk receptionists visibly altered:"This is not a chick show here!"I stopped, looked back at her, when she, in an arrogant gesture, simply turned her back and went up the stairs towards the upper floor from where my partner and I had just come down.My partner and I considered this behavior from this "supposed" restaurant manager or concierge to be extremely aggressive and rude, quite inconsistent with the way my partner, friends, and I were treated previously. This is not the way to deal with customers, and in a friendly way, I would like to bring this incident to the attention of the administration for action, given the appreciation we have for the restaurant.Thank you very much!

Atmosphere is very nice with a nice view. Our server was very attentive and kept us with drinks and checked up with us. Was on a tight schedule, so no time to really provide feedback or say what we really thought while we were there. Everything was great, except the food. We both ordered the filet and scallops dish and ordered the calamari as an appetizer. The calamari was decent, but kind of cold or luke warm when it came out. When we received our entree, the steaks were cooked to order and the presentation was nice. But, again, everything was kind of cold. Possibly, as they say in the restaurant business, they weren't selling the food quick enough. It was being served up and setting in the kitchen waiting on a runner for too long. One last bit of feedback, the scallops are made with a sauce similar to cream corn. I would recommend against this. One review here in Google said that the scallops were bland. They are in a way. No real taste of scallops at all, but I think it is due to the sauce with corn as the corn taste overwhelms any taste of seafood. So, in conclusion, I would give everything a 4.5 stars. The food, 3 stars max. Not sure it is enough to return based on the prices, which are not aweful, but the food quality has to match.Parking: PLenty of free parking or valet parking

Excellent food! We both chose the swordfish. Everything was prepared to perfection, and the service was outstanding. As advertised, the view from the deck was enchanting. It is an enclosed room with ceiling fans and large awning windows that allow for the ocean breeze to waft through. I would only say that once that deck area filled up (our reservation was for 6:30 on a Tuesday), it did become very loud by 7:30.The Sea Watch, in my opinion, is a must dining experience in the Ft Lauderdale area.
