This hotel is in a perfect spot. We got here on our second night traveling from VA to FL for a Royal Caribbean cruise. After checking in, we walked across to the beach. I got a strong drink from the Cafe next door. There were toys for beach play in the morning. The room was adorable, and I LOVED the painting which was of the hotel probably about 60 years prior. Definitely get that blue light vibe in the parking area once the sun goes down ?Walkability: Right opposite the beach, with restaurants. Beach strip mall not far.

I recently had the most delightful stay at this hotel, and it's truly deserving of a 5-star rating! The location, just across the street from the beach, is unbeatable. The cozy atmosphere combined with an excellent price makes it a gem that stands out.A special shoutout to Matt, the manager, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was an absolute pleasure. Unlike other hotels, they don't hit you with crazy extra fees; just a reasonable parking fee. Plus, the added bonus of free access to beach chairs and towels made my beach outings even more enjoyable. The hotel's convenience is unparalleled, and why break the bank at a chain hotel down the street when you can pay less for the same beach experience just one block away? Thank you, Matt! I'll definitely be back for more beachfront bliss

We picked Snooze Hotel (over large chain hotels in the area) for our honeymoon and it was such a great decision! Our stay there was delightful and easygoing. Matt and his dedicated staff made us feel welcomed and helped to make our time in Ft. Lauderdale even more enjoyable. Despite our first couple days being in rough weather, the great location made it easy to make up for lost time in exploring the area. The lounge deck and rooftop are perfect for sipping cocktails or coffee as you take in the sights and sounds and ocean views. The Jet’s Pizza delivery advertised on the TV was a great choice one stormy night when we didn’t want to venture out. But we ended up going next door to the charming and romantic Casablanca Cafe several times throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and clean with modern touches in all the right places. Our only regret was not having more time during our stay to utilize the free beach chairs/umbrella more often and the grill onsite. We will definitely choose Snooze whenever we’re in Ft. Lauderdale.

The owner and employees here were amazing. We arrived early with our baggage and the owner made sure our room was prioritized to be ready which was super appreciated. The room was very clean . The location is amazing, right on the beach and lots of shops/food/bars nearby. Would stay here again!

It’s not perfect, but for a 2 star hotel I’m happy with it. The ocean front deck alone is worth it. The rooms are perfectly functional and clean. If you want a high end place for double the price, then go to the ac Marriott or whatever.

In front the beach and the boardwalk, good restaurants near by, clean, well maintained.

Do you want to book a hotel on a website from the 90's, get a random text the day before you show up saying they are going to charge you for parking when the website says it's free, and then when you go to pay for your hotel it's double/triple the price? Then this garbage, scammy place is for you! First, I thoroughly checked prices all around that area and they were pretty competitive. I ended up stay at Snooze because it was one of the lowest prices and the rooms "looked" nice. I reserved a few weeks ahead of time and it displayed $59.99 a night for one of the King rooms, but I did not screenshot it because I didn't think these people would scam me. I get to the hotel and have to check in to pay because you can't prepay on the website, which is where the scam is. The manager tells me I owe double what I booked the room for. I bring up that the room price I booked was $59.99 and they blame it on their horrific website in which they say they "can no longer get ahold of the webmaster" to have them make changes. Pretty sure I know now why they can no longer get ahold of the webmaster, I wouldn't want to be associated with these people either. Anyway, now I am stuck with having to pay these scam artists double because it's the day of my check-in and I imagine hotel prices aren't any cheaper the day of. Classic bait and switch scam. So, I pay these scammers and get to my room because I'm exhausted. I immediately notice how tiny the room is and there was no room to put my belongings anywhere except in my walking path. I ended up having to open my suitcase on the bed to retrieve anything. I had the room right by the elevator so I was awakened a few times by people coming loudly out of the elevator...which I also noticed people have left bad reviews about the same room. I came in late the 2nd day I stayed and didn't even have a parking spot. This place reiterates many times how they have free sunscreen, chairs and a rooftop terrace like people care about that...but it's just a coverup to try to make them look good and make people look past how they are actually getting scammed. These disrespectful people also talk down about and trash the surrounding hotels, saying "There is a crack house 5 miles inland known for prostitution and shootings called the Link. I cost $20 more than they do." (As seen in screenshot). As you can see at the top left of my Google Maps screenshot, The Link Hotel is actually $49 CHEAPER, so they are straight up lying all while trashing other hotels...how disgusting! Stay far away from this place as there is cheaper, respectful, non-scammy places with better reviews right next door as seen in my Google Map screenshot.

By far one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! Definitely the best bang for your buck. Hotel was clean, and the host was very helpful and gracious. Location is across the street from the beach, with bars and restaurants within walking distance. This hotel has 5 star hospitality and would definitely stay here every time I visit Fort Lauderdale. Also the views from the roof are perfect

An older hotel that is showing its age but is well kept. The high point of the stay is the staff, who were all very friendly and helpful. As far as comfort, the bed and pillows could use some improvement and the shower head was a bit ridiculous. Kind of felt like trying to shower with a kitchen sink sprayer mounted to the ceiling.

Great value for a Ft Lauderdale beach stay. You're right in between 4-5 huge name brand hotels for half the price. Super convenient location: beach is right across the street (the host will loan you beach chairs, towels, toys and even sunscreen!!), easy walking distance to many restaurants and bars. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Sure, this is not the elegance of the Westin or Four Seasons, but if you're looking to save a few bucks and still have a very comfortable room, this is a great option.

Great location, basic(real basic) accommodation. No frills on A1A, we managed to stay a week, No complaints. The manager (Matt) is a great guy, always helpful. This place is very clean. It’s not everybody’s cup of tea, but it does us just fine.

We had 5 star worthy service upon our first contact with Snooze! On arrival day, Nick went above & beyond to accommodate an Instacart order & also had a special treat for my husband's birthday! He also personally delivered our luggage (which we had stored with them prior to check in) straight to our room. The ocean view kitchenette was super clean, comfortable, & had an amazing 180 degree view ?. We enjoyed the rooftop lounge as well as countless other amenities that are all nearby, including the use of free beach gear! We will definitely make Snooze our go-to when returning to the area!

Older hotel in a great location. Staff was phenomenal. Every last one of them. ❤ Only bad things were the beds were very firm, pillows flat, shower was sub-par.Rooms: We had a very large room with a kitchen.Food & drinks: Next door is one of the best restaurants in Ft. Lauderdale.

A dump! Do not get fooled by the pictures. Please run away now. We were stuck paying for a night and walked to AC Marriott for our stay. Where the manager said we were the 5th that had the same experience that week coming there.Rooms: Dumpy cold and cheap

I usually stay in the name brand hotels near by, but let my friend pick this place and I was blown away. First thing first.. limited parking and can only fit small cars.. so don't come expecting to park a truck or SUV .I was greeted by Nick who was Super friendly!! We booked a room that was a 2 bed with a kitchenette. Most everything about the room was perfect. Except 2 things.. the A/c unit seems a little small and under powered for that size open space. The bathroom has a window but no exhaust fan. The window (privacy glass) isn't so private when opened as the towering condos next door can look in. The shower had a ceiling spout, which would have been better if it was a rain shower head and not a standard shower. The roof top deck and level 2 balcony were nice sitting areas, the Casablanca restaurant next door was our go to spot for the 3 nights we were there and I highly recommend. Starbucks is next door also and of course the beach right across the street I definitely recommend this hotel! We'll be back for sure !
