I am a student at NSU. Do not book with Stirit they may try to move you out of your dorm nearly a week early. I did everything as early as possible and selected from the times offered which all of them were the weeks I wanted to move. Then they scheduled me a nearly a week earlier than the selected time. They are difficult to get in touch with and I am super displeased and upset I wasted my time. Now reading the other reviews looks like I dodged a bullet.

Might be the worst community overall, I decided to give them a call to find out about the options for storage because I am from Nsu. The man on the phone was so rude and not helpful at all. Telling me there are 4 different fees on top of everything, I live on campus now but will not be next semester and I asked him what happens then. He said I would have to pay for the month of august meanwhile the program for dorm returning students is until august. He said it’s not because the company brings students belongings to the dorms in July. Not sure the point of paying for storage, when your stuff isn’t even being held there. He said this program will not work for you and hung the phone up on me. I’m not sure what kind of service this is because I could’ve been offered other arrangements but he was not interested and helping and shouldn’t even be working for customer service. Not sure how their service is but by reading reviews I assume it’s no good. Definitely not trusting them with my stuff

I'd give 0 stars if I could. I highly discourage anyone who requires moving/storage services to use this company. They will take advantage of every opportunity they can to shamelessly jack up prices and also change the terms of their agreement whenever they want. You have to be very cautious doing business with them, essentially price gouging people. Charging upwards of 300% of what similar services charge just because I am stuck with them due to my university closing.

Do not answer calls or emails so I can go pick up my belongings during COVID-19.

Terrible company. The customer service is awful and they don’t take care of people’s belongings.

I made a mistake and overlooked a box with some of my belongings. Despite my mistake, the owner was still kind, professional, and caring enough to try and get the situation resolved although Stirit was not at fault. I found my box and all of my belongings were well taken care of! (: The movers were kind and very efficient. My experience with Stirit Storage was excellent as they offered great services! I highly recommend.

ONE OF THE WORST PLACES TO STORE STORAGE, DON'T EVER BOOK WITH STIRIT AND THATS ON GOD. I have booked them for my son who goes to the Nova Southeastern University, because the university abruptly announced that the students have to vacate their rooms in a very short amount of time. One of their options was to go through Stirit Storage (there must be some type of financial compensation), and for a parent living in Illinois and unable to fly down due to the pandemic I was forced to go through Stirit Storage. I called to make sure that the flat rate of 380 dollars could cover the entire room, and the customer service had conveyed that it would. This was ideal, so that my son and his two roommates could split the one time bill of 380 dollars. However, the day of the scheduled move they had called me asking where my specific belongings were. I was shocked to my core, as I had made sure with customer service that the 380 would cover the entire room, because it was just one shared room, with no other doors/rooms. Thereafter, they asked me what was my belongings, it was clear that they were trying to scam the students out of their money, and make $1,140 for every shared common room that three students lived in. It was clear that this was a scam, as in a common room many items are shared such as Shampoo and other items such as a microwave, and it would be impossible to different who's belongings was every item truly. Therefore, they were scamming us. I stayed on the phone explaining that it is impossible to split up three peoples stuff in a common shared room, because many of the belongings were indeed shared, and it would make sense for them to pack up all of the items together, as when the pandemic cooled down, the students could come down to Florida and decide what was theirs. After that dispute, months later I get an email saying that pick-up will not be allowed of the items, and that to pick up the items they will charge around 600 dollars. This was a ridiculous thing to do and on top of that they will only deliver for free if the students housing was located on campus. This is another way for Stirit to take as much money, because many people are moving off-campus due to this pandemic, as they would save much more money and a matter of safety as well. Overall, I am despised at Stirit Storage, and strongly discourage anybody to use Stirit Storage. Extremely unprofessional organization that is out there to scam everybody they can get their hands upon. I am disappointed that a company like this is doing this in the middle of a pandemic, where everybody is going through a different type of struggle. They also have a lot of dangerous clauses in their agreement, so please be beware of that as they can move your stuff where-ever they please, but you cant even pick up your stuff for free?? This is unacceptable this place is complete garbage, don't ever go here.

This company is garbage. Fair warning, don’t use them! My sister goes to NSU and because of COVID, she had to leave campus before being able to properly move out of her dorm. Students were only recently given a very short window to retrieve their belongings. Because she is an out-of-State student, she was directed by the university to use this company. They charged $350+ and trashed the room. They also ignored basic instructions leaving behind many of her belongings.

I am an NSU student and given that I live a 22 hour drive away and could not find any flights to go down and retrieve my belongings myself I was forced to use stirit storage. I am grateful that there was such an option for the corona circumstances but I’m not totally thrilled with my experience. At first I thought they were excellent, very good communication and asked me to send them an email with and specifications for removal of items from my dorm. As I left many things there and didn’t want to spend $500+ shipping it all so far, I sent a VERY detailed email about what I did and didn’t want and locations for specific things in the room and my phone number for any additional questions. I was FaceTimed by the guy in charge of packing my room which was very helpful but after receiving my boxes I’m shocked. The lack of care that went into packing my things is ridiculous. I had posters that were thrown in and crumpled to useless when I received them. Loose thumbtacks ALL OVER one box. No bubble wrap or anything around my keureg, just put in a box. Not just the lack of care but the lack of common sense. He was so kind asking me which pillows and specific things I wanted - it was awesome. But when I unpacked my boxes there was so much extra stuff (including a literal bag of rocks which I had for a service project) that I hadn’t asked to be packed. This undoubtedly dramatically increased the price of sending all the boxes as they weighed so much. Partially my fault for not remembering to include them in the DONT PACK section of my email, but also if you’re going to ask me specific questions about pillows etc, over FaceTime... the heavy bags of rocks didn’t come into question?? Overall I would have preferred to get my things myself but I had no other option. I’m upset with the lack of professionalism in the packing and shipping of people’s belongings, but at the very least I have some important things back.

I have been using Stirit Storage for a couple of months here in Florida and has freed up so much space in my house! My Florida townhouse doesn't have a basement, nor a coat space or anything extra, and their service allowed me to pay for only what I was storing. Their website allowed me to see where my stuff is all the time, as well as giving me a list of everything that I had in each bin. Truly makes your life easier storage-wise!

I was impressed with this new model for storage. I did not have to carry nor load any van or truck as they came, stored products in bins, inventoried my belongings, took them to storage and have given me access to a virtual closet for me to request my things whenever I need them. The team at Stirit was very professional and I still am impressed with how easy and convenient it has been to store my things. Storage for the future!

I honestly can say it has been a lifesaver for me. We do not have a garage at home and all the holidays items are now at Stirit with just a phone call away. I just called for them to bring the Halloween bin and next day they were at my door!!! Best service ever!! They came right away and took the bins..I didn't have to carry a thing. I have referred them to my job also where they need to storage documents for a time period. Very satisfied and highly recommended

Stirit Storage customer service was excellent, the rep answered all my questions and provided the information I requested. They offer storage for small and large items, conduct a full inventory of your belongings before they take them to storage and bring them back to you when you need them. Very awesome service, I would recommend Stirit Storage to anyone looking for storage services.
