The communication from Summit was exceptional through every step of the process. Not once did I have to pick up the phone to call them with questions, they were extremely proactive in setting a plan and providing us with periodic updates. The move itself was flawless, 3 gents showed up about 10 minutes EARLY and worked efficiently throughout the day. We were moving from a 3 story townhome and they were gliding up and down the stairs in the heat...without damaging walls or our belongings. Delivery went equally as smooth. We received 4 quotes from different companies, they were very competitive. Communication and professionalism is what set them apart up front, and we could not have been happier with our decision.HIGHLY RECOMMEND SUMMIT.

We used Summit Van Lines to complete our Office move. They came out to the office and completed a Free On-Site estimate. The pricing was extremely fair and just as they promised it did not change after the fact. On the day of our move, they arrived on time to start the job. Very punctual. The crew we were given worked so hard. They took their time and made sure to protect all of our office furniture and equipment for transport. They packed our computers and Tv's and all of our electronics arrived in perfect condition. We were nervous for this.I am so glad that we selected them over a few others we had in mind. This was the easiest move ever! We appreciate the hard work from Sammy and Shannon and also the Crew Kevin Tovaris Patrick and Derrick. I recommend them to anyone looking for moving services.

Made my moving process so easy! The crew is great and professional!! Shannon was so helpful in my process. She coordinated the move from Miami to Colorado and I am so pleased with all the services of Summit Van Lines. Delivery was done so quickly! All of our items arrived without damages. The crew on both ends were absolutely phenomenal! Thank you so much for making this a great experience! We are so glad we chose SUMMIT in the long run! I highly recommend them!

I used their services to move up to ALASKA. It was so carefully coordinated and organized I cannot thank Shannon enough for all of her help. My items actually arrived faster than estimated and the price was reasonable considering the move itself. I am happy I selected to use them!I recommend Summit for anyone looking to move.

We had a agreement for one price, than they tried to charge me 1300$ over…Sammy Perets came to my apartment to make the list of what I’m planning to move, than he put just some of the things to the estimate just to give me a better price and to convince me,on the moving day they said i have extra stuff! Which they could put the “extra” stuff on the side and give me a price for that,so i can decide to take it or not….all of this was happening last minute, after arguing half an hour i agree to pay 700$ extra, because they wanted to charge me also for putting the extra stuff back, and i already paid a deposit… finally i got everything, the delivery guys were very professional and helpful

My experience with Summit Van Linesended with over $1,000 in damage to multiple furniture items. The crew who unpacked on the other end didn't believe we had hired a professional crew because of how carelessly packed some sections of the trailer were. The crew literally put a metal patio table directly in the trailer and then stacked heavy boxes on it up to the ceiling, predictably the table legs buckled and the table was destroved. A wooden coffee table was turned upside down and heavy items were stacked on top of the wood shelf underneath causing it to crack in half. They also neglected to properly wrap the dining room table and pad the dining room chairs so both arrived chipped to pieces and with large tears in some of the leather seat cushions. I supplied tons of pads, bubble wrap, blankets, and offered multiple times to get more if they needed them. There was no excuse for this.I'm a reasonable person so contacted Summit Van lines right awav to see it they could reimburse me for items that could not be fixed. I was offered an apology and asked to send pictures. They admitted in writing that "obviously some mistakes were made" and assured me that they would "take responsibility as far as our terms and conditions set forth". I sent pictures of the damage along with explanations of how the items were packed in the truck. I was told by the owner, that he would reviews the pics, speak with the crew, and be in touch. I was assured that the crew were experienced movers, and they completely destroyed all my furnitures. Even my mattress was wet and dirty. I was told the job would be a few hours but it took two days and they billed my credit card for it.This was back in early July, its been almost 90 days and no one fromhas contacted me. The office manager responded to me originally but then became defensive when I kept emailing her and asking for updates. She reiterated what their contractual obligations were and told me to contact the owner who thus far has ignored multiple emails and several phone calls and voicemails toboth the main number and his personal cell phone. This is no way to do business and I would urge anyone considering hiring them to reconsider and hire someone who will stand by their work. Their carelessness and lack of supervision and training cost me a lot of money and aggravation. Hopefully everyone reading this will go elsewhere because the owners refuse to take responsibility when they let their customers down.Summit Van lines is a scam.Don't trust them.

Just an absolutely awful awful experience working with Guy shoshan and the bandits. These are the most low down deceitful people you will ever encounter. Steer clear of the thieves. Just look at their reviews on google. Hundreds of bad reviews. I will never deal with them again. Bad people!!

I had such a nightmare experience working with this company. I wish I had never come across them. It is one of those top 5 worst experiences of your life you will never forget. Awful people, stay away from them at all costs. Just look at the other endless negative reviews on google. I wish I would have researched this company better before getting involved. JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything about working with Summit Van Lines - Fort Lauderdale and their crew was superb. They were helpful, efficient, and pleasant on the day of the relocation. They showed up sharp at 9 am and had blankets and sheets to protect our furniture and other belongings (including our TV and dining chairs). All my clothes, shoes, were wrapped in bubble wraps and packed in padded boxes. Nothing was broken or damaged in transit, and it arrived in perfect condition at the new house. I'd refer everyone I know to them.

No haggle and one of the best prices I got in S Fla. I know sometimes if it sounds too good to be true, it is, but this is not the case. This business is completely professional and legit. From the very beginning, communication with the office for scheduling was spendid. We had a moving target, and Summit worked with us, not giving us any pressure at all. Day before moving, we were given a time, and the trucks arrived at the warehouse on schedule. The crew was methodical and knew what they were doing. The trucks look new. The following day, they met us at our new house in Panama City, on time again. They unloaded the trucks and placed items where we asked. No hassles and cheerful service. The price remained the same throughout. Summit played no games. I am wary of moving companies in general because of what I see in the news, but Summit was a great choice. All business and no BS.

Summit Review "Worst Move Ever" I carefully selected Summit Van Lines for my cross country move because I was in recovery from lung cancer including a lobectomy. I was on a leave of absence from work so needed a company that would ensure a quality move. Summit Van Lines was a much higher cost than other carriers ($13,000) but Sammy Perets, Relocation Specialist from the sales team ensured that our items would be picked up, transported with care, and set up; assembled and arranged in the correct rooms in our new home. Sammy also ensured he would be involved all the way through to ensure a great moving experience. The delivery was unacceptable. The small rental arrived at 3:40 PM on July 17, 2022 with only two movers for a 4 bedroom 2 story home. The truck was a rental truck not large enough to accommodate our goods and furniture, resulting in significant damage as the items were crammed in and our mattresses strapped to the outside of the truck for a cross country move! Upon arrival in Massachusetts, the mattresses were soaking wet and destroyed. I alerted Shannon Colon, Customer Service and Sammy at 4:00 PM on July 17, 2022. They confirmed that this experience was "awful" and not what was communicated to me when signing the contract. They confirmed the issues would be addressed. My spouse and I each spent over 5 hours carrying boxes and furniture off the truck and into our home. The two men provided by Summit along with my spouse and I finished unloading the truck at 1:30 AM. It is important to note that the beds were not assembled, boxes were strewn haphazardly in the wrong rooms. The two men were doing their best under the worst experiences they faced and were exhausted. It's hard to believe that lying down rugs and arranging furniture was part agreement when in reality we just needed to unload the truck. We found ourselves putting beds together for our family at 2:00 AM, while our son was asleep on the floor in a closet. Over the following days we continued to assemble the remainder of the furniture, lay rugs, move furniture where it belonged, etc. This did not help my recovery and not how I should have been spending my Leave of Absence. After repeated attempts to resolve with Shannon and Sammy on the 9th day Debbie Diaz, Office Manager, explained that they had additional staff assigned to our move and that they didn't show up because of Covid. This contradicts what the movers on site and the customer service rep Shannon had stated previously. At no point was I forewarned that a moving truck was arriving at my home without sufficient staff to unload the truck. Sammy, while he responded to text did not take any responsibility as he had promised. The end result was even more horrific after begging to have this escalated several times. Debbie the office manager promised she would escalate this after I sign the Global Release of Liability for the claim. Summit Van Lines: Arrived at 3:30 PM to unload a 4 bedroom two story house with two movers Damaged 23 pieces of furniture Strapped a mattress to the outside of the moving truck and drove it 1600+ Miles Destroyed a 65" Flat Screen TV Destroyed a Bicycle Failed to provide enough staff to unload the truck Failed to lay area rugs Failed to put furniture in correct spaces Failed to set re-assemble furniture, beds, tables, desk, shelves Completed unloading after 1:30 AM Refused to escalate the issue until a full release was signed I was notified that I must sign the claim reimbursement releasing the company from liability. Summit Van Lines offered us $106! I received apologies from the relocation specialist, the customer service rep, the two movers and the office manager which also included an inauthentic "we can learn from this" yet no compensation or support beyond the $106. This review is being posted over a year after the move as we have been going back and forth with Debbie Diaz, Office Manager who continued to express they would escalate my complaints and after July 6, 2023 when I informed Debbie I couldn't sign the release

I contracted Summit Van Lines to move, store and then return my belongings from my Lauderdale by the Sea home on May 19, 2023. The salesman told me they have been in business for 30 years, they own their own trucks, storage facilities and are fully licensed, bonded and insured. He promised me my things would be kept safe. I trusted them. My items were returned to me on August 16, 2023. Kevin the main moving man, arrived with papers in his hand and announced, "Let's just get this out of the way. I initialed and signed where he indicated, and the movers quickly moved my belongings back into my home. My items remained in the boxes throughout my apartment. I noticed my bike was not returned with my items. He said he was not part of the initial move, but he was. He said he would be back in 15 minutes with it. I never heard from him again. I had to initiate the phone call to Summit. As I unpacked, I noticed items missing, Bike, helmet, basket on bike, oncloud sneakers, 2 large heavy glass tops for dresser, 2 sets of new sheets, 2 sets of king sheets, set of Corell platters, large box of construction garbage bags, a whole bin of clothes......... Also damage to my dresser drawers, broken platters......should I go on. I've called Summit Van Lines since August 16, 2023. They say they say they only are responsible for 60 cents a pound and want me to put in the claim and see what I get and then they will see what they can do. I have called to speak to the owner and have been told he's out of the office, he's coming in a few days, now he went out of the country until mid-September. I trusted this company and I am sorry I did. These items were taken from their facility or their truck that only their workers have access to. This has been a terrible experience.

Everyone working there was very pleasant and helpful. The employees took great care of our belongings. To have a coworker inquire about my well-being meant a lot.

This company is great when they are persuading you to hire them, but if you have a problem, they will never call you back, and chances are, you will have a problem. They broke my 85" TV in the move, and I am trying to get reimbursed for it, but they have refused to even respond to the request for over 2 months. They keep telling me the owner needs to handle it, and that he is unavailable. Seriously? The owner is "unavailable" for over 2 months. Do NOT trust them regardless of how nice they seem in the beginning. They break things and then ignore you. They broke an expensive piece of furniture when my friend used them too, and she got nothing in return either.
