Terrible Experience: Stay Away
Absolutely horrible experience. I’ve closed my account and will never do business with this credit union again. They lack even the most basic standards of customer service, disorganized, unhelpful, and dismissive.
Save yourself the headache. Keep your money far away from this place and find a financial institution that actually values its members.

If I could give this bank less than 1 star I certainly would. They have duplicated tranfers from my account multiple times causing overdraft. They have shut of both debits cards to my husband and myself multiple times without sending any kind of fraud alert, rendering us without the funds for a whole weekend at a time. When you call customer service or even go into the bank related to this issue, no one has an answer to what happened. My funds were not available to me yet they allowed an online furniture site to rob me of over $400. Their banking practices are antiquated. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THIS BANK.

First of all, the branch was very neat with a light welcoming fragrance.My interaction with the staff, Don, was very pleasant. He was professional, courteous, informative, offered options and personalized my service. I left the Bank feeling very satisfied with the visit.

Have you ever had someone that did everything in a very professional manner and treated you with respect and understanding well that's Jill Humphreys she was my service assistant today at tropical financial. I have been doing business with Tropical Financial the 1990's. The Staff at the Plantation office is wonderful. When you walk in the door, they are always ready to welcome and help you with warm smiling faces.

The WORST bank service ever!! I regret ever opening up an account with this horrible bank!! Any time I have to make a purchase overseas or send money to my family, I have to call the customer service number to "open" my card and give permission to USE MY MONEY not theirs. It's a HUGE HASSLE just to get through to them and most of time the customer service people are RUDE AND LAST WEEK I HAD SOMEONE HANG UP ON ME AFTER WAITING FOR A HALF HOUR!! For those who are looking for a bank, NEVER USE THIS BANK!! If I could give this rating a 0 I would.

The management and staff at the Plantation branch are always so pleasant and helpful. The manager was patient in helping me. I had a difficult surgery and she showed so much empathy.

Keston has been a huge help for me with my time at tropical he’s the biggest reason I’m still with the bank. I love tropical they are very customer friendly and they always are there when I have issues especially Keston he’s the best always there when needed.
