Closes at 6 but already locked by 5:55.

I just wanted to say when you’re open til6pm you should not close 15 minutes early. Another gentleman and myself were at the PO on 17th at 5:45pm. The attendant was inside, but had turned off the lights and locked the door. Not customer focused. I had a very brief drop off.

I am updating this review. 23 Dec 2023I am closing my PO Box. The lines are always long, they stopped all weekend service, their 'Informed Delivery' has never worked at this branch, the parking is appalling (crowded with tiny spaces), and mail is slower to this branch than to others nearby or to street addresses.I have opened an account with a nearby mailbox service. The service is superior (light years ahead), the cost is lower and service is pleasant.I wish the USPS could improve, but they don't seem to be up to the challenge.I believe the USPS would be better off simply closing this particular branch.----------++It is a small post office and frequently/usually there are lines. The staff is sometimes okay, and sometimes Not.My last visit was simply *unacceptable service* beginning to end.All everyone wants is one of the limited USPS services and some guidance on USPS rates, policies, etc. delivered with a modicum of politeness. The Grumpy Factor is high amongst these USPS employees a shockingly high amount of visits. My last visit was poor. I waited in line. I had to post a very small postcard ~4"x4", and a small bubble envelope with only a check inside, ~7" x 9" super light, not at all thick (dollar store). While at the counter, my turn, the agent continued to tersely direct other patrons. At one point a man with two boxes to post, who just walked in the door, was told, from across the lobby, that he had to go to another post office as the boxes where too large. The boxes were not particularly large, nor heavy based on how he was carrying them. He was surprised and didn't know the other post office. He pressed for further direction. Yes, I am still at the counter. When it is time to complete my requests, I am told the envelope will be $4.xx and the postcard a letter fee. I questioned both. I was told the envelope was a package. I later Googled this and found it *untrue* in my case; it is a "flat." And, "oops, I thought that postcard was a letter." Seriously? My post office box is at this office, so I will return to this location repeatedly. Deep sigh.

Extremely poor mail delivery! Constantly missing packages and mail. We were required to place mailboxes at street level, which we did, but the female mail carrier still places mail in the old mailbox. Although this issue is reported to post office and we get assured that a supervisor will get back to us, that has never happened and issues are not resolved !

This is by far the best usps. Small and quiet. You get great service from both guys that work there. They’re always willing to go above and beyond for people. Not many post offices run as efficiently as this one.

Laziness! I dropped a priority mail on Friday at 4pm, the envelope didn't leave the facility until Monday 2:54am! This branch needs to be reminded what PRIORITY is!!!!

Against all odds, I went to this USPS location and experienced great service. John was very helpful and service oriented.

John is efficient, courteous, fast, friendly and always down to help. Love going to this usps location due to exceptional customer service. There is a lady here who is not as kind and nice as John who I avoid.

I have had a Post Office Box at this location for about 10 years, In the last couple months with the new hires at this location the mail services has dropped significantly I am not receiving the same mail from our own city within artificial couple day. These accounts are taking me 2 to 3 weeks to receive invoices From in town. Highly do not recommend using this location they have no training whatsoever and no customer service skills

The young kid/ guy who works here at the front desk had me running in circles yesterday, with my kid in towe, probably bcus I’m not 20 years old or blonde, he gave me completely incorrect info which had me running to UPS with my child, in peak traffic on 17th. I knew it wasn’t right what he was telling me, but he seemed so convincing. Ups was charging me $20 to ship and told me the post office could easily ship the package as well for free. I had to drive back to this office and was going to tell this guy off, but there was an elderly woman there with her puppy, so I kept it cool. I told him that nowhere does it say the package needs to sent via UPS, he fumbled and stuttered around with his response so I softly said Ok and told him I just needed to put my name on top of the package, it was a small box, 5 lbs, to which he handed me a ball point pen, when there were 3 black sharpies in front of him. I think sharpies are better for cardboard???? I think he was intentionally not being nice or helpful to me because I’m Asian. Point blank.

Horrible customer service, understaffed. The older, female clerk behind the counter was rude and angry (prob bc understaffed too, but none the less was NOT professional). A truck with mail has not been off loaded (currently at their location with my mail and that of others) for at least 2 days that i for sure know of and her response to “would the mail be placed in the mailboxes by tomorrow”came with a resounding “I don’t know”… Btw I paid for a year of service for the box. Others i spoke with checking for mail are also upset they have not been able to get their mail. No excuse! This post office should ask for help to get the job done. I will be closing my acct/box here.

Everything you've read here is true. This is by far the rudest and arguably the most incompetent person I've ever dealt with at a US Post office. It took four (4!) trips to establish a PO Box and then she gave me keys that don't actually open the PO Box. So now she has to ask a locksmith to make new keys (who is of course on vacation) and told me to come by next week (trip #5) at which juncture the new keys...might...be ready. Do yourself a favor, avoid this Post Office.
