  If you're coming to this post office, be ready to get disrespected by the employee named Sabrina at this location. She is insulting and sarcastic. It is sad to see this behavior, which shows that she grew up with no manners and self-control over her emotions. I believe she chose the wrong carrier.

  📦📬✉️ Let’s be honest—this isn’t a place most people look forward to visiting. As the main USPS location serving the greater Fort Lauderdale area, it stays constantly busy with letters, packages, and a steady flow of customers. While staffing may be limited at times, the employees who are on duty clearly work hard to keep things moving—and they do it with a smile. That effort alone earns a few extra stars in my book.

  I would give this facility 0 stars if possible. The USPS website clearly states walk in appointments available Wednesday's from 1pm to 2pm for Passport renewal. Sabrina and her loud mouth repeatedly kept saying walk ins are not welcome with no help whatsoever.

  The Oakland Park United States Post Office is the absolute worst USPS branch I have ever been to anywhere in the USA! The lines are incredibly long, and the staff is slow and rude when you finally get up to the counter. They act as if you are bothering them instead of performing customer service! The Postal Service needs to clean house at this location and do some mass firings and get new staff here! Clean up your act! It also takes me forever to get my mail from this facility, 5-10 days, which is unacceptable.

  Today was my first time visiting this location, just to pick up a package. I waited in line for 20 minutes, only to be told by the staff that package pickups are handled at a different office. I went to the other office and had to wait in an even longer line.
  The place felt chaotic—people were upset, cutting in line, and complaining. There was only one employee working and just a single service window. I ended up spending over an hour there, and in the end, they couldn’t even find my package.
  I had to give up and leave without it because they couldn’t resolve anything. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this location. The system definitely needs improvement.

  The director of this place should do something about the drop off box inside of this building. I went to this place two consecutive Saturdays and Sundays and always, always this box is locked. I mean, is it so hard to just empty it when is full?

  Extremely disappointing experience with this shipping service! My package arrived from Europe, and the postal service failed to deliver it to my doorstep. Despite arriving at 6 am, the mail carrier didn't even attempt to deliver the package or notify me. At 8am. he/she returned back to the post office Without any warning or chance to collect my package, it was sent back to the post office and returned to the sender the same day.
  
  To add insult to injury, I paid €90 for delivery. I'm still left wondering who will compensate me for the damage and stress caused by this inefficiency. Unacceptable service

  0 STARS - The desk to go speak with a supervisor has a rude woman there wearing Hijab who after 2 visits I am convinced is a racist! I watched an encounter over 3 weeks ago involving a white lady walking in and asking for a supervisor and immediately being attended despite 3 other people in line waiting to see a supervisor.
  
  This personally happened to me today 6/13/2025. I arrived at 12:45 and after getting the run around from the Hijab lady, I was told the supervisors are on lunch break. Another black lady walked in needing the same 10 minutes later followed by a white lady at around 1:30pm. At 1:45pm, out pops a supervisor and immediately helps the white lady and has her out the door in 5 minutes! This Hijab wearing employee will give you all the answers in the world except for answering one simple question. CAN I SPEAK WITH A SUPERVISOR.
  
  This USPS location is the most classless operation I have ever dealt with. I am also filing a report directly with the USPS hotline and will seek to try and force some improvements to this horrible location.
