Our dogs have been seen by Dr. Cushner for over 5 years, we actually followed her to Victoria Hospital from a previous vet place. She is amazing, extremely knowledgeable and our dogs love seeing her on their visit.

Victoria Park Animal Hospital is amazing. I love having a neighborhood veterinarian who is so caring and so knowledgeable about animal health and behavior. I can't believe my cat was so docile in the care of both the doctor and technician. Blake happens to be one of the best technicians that I have seen handle a pet. Your furry friends are in great hands at Victoria Park Animal Hospital.

Best staff and Dr. Birken best Vet. She has been an emotional support system for me when I lost both of my dogs within 3 months of each other in 2020. Now she's taking care of my new pup and has the nicest staff and disposition. Thank you Willie loves everyone

Victoria Park Animal Hospital is amazing. The reception staff are friendly and exceptionally accommodating. The vet techs are so knowledgeable and treat my dog with such care and kindness. And the doctors are so thorough and compassionate. I have never been so impressed with a business. They’re incredible. Thank you to all the staff for everything you do.

Techs and doctors are great. My 18 year old cat is a renal patient and the disease has remained stable under their care. I recommend VPAH!

We really appreciate the kind hand written card we received about our cat Moses after he passed and the attention and care given during our emergency.I am so thankful that your hospital is across the street and thank you for showing compassion during this time and keeping him out of pain.

To Dr. Birken & staff,Based on your reply to my review listed below, now I see that not only I made the mistake of referring people to VPAH in the past but taking my cats to you for the last few years was a great error. Needless to say while Nala was healthy everything went fine, but when it mattered the most she lost her life.Fact, my cat Nala had an adverse reaction to a medication given by Dr. Birken and since your clinic did NOT had an antidote on hand I was referred to the emergency pet hospital. In my opinion, Dr. Birken did not use reasonable care and was uncaring when she provided her service. I hope that due to your business growth you haven't become used to causing the pain and distress that my pet companion and I experienced. Please consider incorporating some new veterinary training and techniques into your clinic's practice, not just for your clients and patients sake, but is very much needed by Dr. Birken and staff.(Initial Review)I made the mistake of taking my cats to this vet hospital for the last few years. The mistake cost me the pre mature death of my cat, Nala.I took Nala in for her booster shots and 5 days later she would not eat. I took her back to the vet and they told me they could not find anything wrong with her. They told me she probably had a stomach virus and told me they were giving something for her stomach and a medication to entice her to eat".Dr. Birken sent me home and the next day poor Nala would not even drink water. I took Nala back to Dr. Birken who ordered a series of expensive blood tests that she said came back normal. So, they sent me home with my sick cat again, this time Nala becoming more ill and disoriented. When my cat got even sicker I called them several times and the doctor was too busy to take my calls. When she finally did get back to me, she said there was nothing they could do and advised me to take my cat to an emergency vet. I could not afford emergency care so I contacted a different vet who I had dealt with several years ago. She had me have Nala's records faxed over to her and had me bring Nala to her immediately. The new vet read over the records carefully and examined Nala and was able to determine that Nala had IBS, Irritable Bowel Syndrome. It had advanced too far for her to provide any effective treatment. Nala's intestines had swelled so badly after not being treated for her condition. This made no sense to me since I had been taking her to Victoria Park Animal hospital for her regular checkups and shots for years. I wondered why Dr. Birken had not properly diagnosed poor Nala? Are the vets at this hospital so over run with patients that they are unable to provide proper care? The new vet also informed me that Dr. Birken had given her a form of cat morphine. So, she knew my cat was in pain but could not determine why.
I truly wish to be able to give this veterinary a "MINUS" star!!!

I love Dr Birken and this small Animal Hospital tucked away in Winn Dixie shopping center in Victoria Park. The staff and care they show my cat are top notch . This is my 3rd cat that has taken the dreaded road trip to the vet! Thanks to all for your help.
