Typical Walgreens. Get in and get out. Don't expect good service.

If I could leave zero stars I would . The pharmacy staff is extremely rude and makes comments about people’s disabilities. The pharmacy area where they do shots looks extremely unsanitary and is out in the open for everyone to see so we didn’t feel safe getting our shots there.

I don’t normally write reviews, but my experience with the pharmacy has consistently been very poor. The pharmacy is understaffed, which means just picking up a prescription can take 30 minutes or more. The checkout process is cumbersome and time consuming because Walgreens has added an option to make a charitable contribution, but I selected “no thanks” and it took $10 anyway.

Located in the North Beach Restaurants and Shoppes on the corner of A1A & Oakland Park Blvd., I came to this Walgreens to pay my FPL bill. Now there are other authorized pay agent locations I could have gone to, but this location does not charge the $1.50 processing fee. You do have to pay for parking - either pay the meter or pay by phone. Rate is $2 an hour or $1 minimum for credit card purchase. The store was large, quiet, and clean with organized aisles. There were a few patrons shopping. It didn't take me long to spot the kiosk located by the photo department. After putting in the necessary information, I proceeded to the cashier to give her my payment. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I'm not sure if I would make coming to this location a regular thing...depends on how I feel.

Almost an hour waiting for COVId booster. First appointment of day, arrived on time. No other customers for first 30 minutes... Customer service at pharmacy is non-existent. If you have to use Walgreens, find another location.

Went to this Walgreens last night to ask about the free N95 masks and check out some wines to bring home. The nice lady at the register told me that they did not have any masks. This location did not participate in the program. So, I went around to look for my wines, and....on the way, I decided to take some pictures to show others the variety of goods that you can get at this Walgreens pharmacy. As I was taking my last pictures, one guy (might had been the manager), said in a very Power Trip way.....Can I ask Why are you taking pictures? I said, I want to post them on Yelp, so others know the variety of items they can get at this store ... from wines to groceries to electronics to beauty and health care. He said, you are NOT allowed to take pictures inside the store without the approval of Walgreens Corporate !!!!!! Never heard such a bunch of baloney. How about when people want to text someone about an item they are buying for them? Or posting stuff on any type of social media? I thought that power trip went a bit too far. Not taking any more pictures at Walgreens ever, so good luck for Yelpers wanting to see what they have to offer .....

The worst store. I was asking if they have sore throat spray. I called other stores because online shows they have it but don't have it in store. Before I started driving, I just called to make sure they do have it believed or not 5 people answered phone call asking how can I help. and no one was helping with what I needed help with, and it was a very simple task. The worst customer service.

Unbelievable! Was trying to buy some Pinot Grigio for cooking! On a rainy day, I thought I would walk to the local Walgreens rather than drive. I just took my CC. Never in a million years would I have thought that they would not sell it to me without ID (I am in my 60’s). Store policy! So, must we all be at the mercy and whim of individual store policies? It’s asinine and irritating. If they don’t want my business I won’t give to them!

Came for a Covid vaccine and waited for more than 1 hr for them “prep” the vaccine. Absolutely disorganized, the girls sound lost. I was scared to get the wrong vaccine how lost they sound behind the counter. The girl the was at the window was rude to all clients I saw her seeing at the register for the over hr I was waiting for my vaccine. I was in store 10/18/21 at 9:10am. Hopefully management will follow up.

Three guys came onto me while I was in that store and they were all employees that place is not safe for women... even as I took my business elsewhere another couple of Come'ons. I was dressed in my work uniform a caretaker scrubs .While I was talking to one employee the other male employee eyeballing me up and down made me feel very uncomfortable while he continued to answer my questions instead of allowing me to speak to the man that I was addressing. I had to leave the store. I didn't feel safe there. Even as I was leaving , yet another cat call, very disgusting!

I am giving this Walgreens the highest rating simply because of the staff always being so pleasant in general, but in particular one of the pharmacy staff, Shay, is outstanding ! She is so helpful in my dealings with Medicare approvals for prescriptions that seem to always get messed up in the administrative bureaucracy needed to get constant approvals through the system.that Medicare requires. She is extremely knowledgeable, she always follows-up as she promises, is incredibly patient and truly listens to the issues at hand. In fact I go back and forth to NYC and use a Walgreens (Duane Reade) in the city as well, and inevitably I have to have them call and speak to Shay in Fla in order to get prescription issues straightened out, as they won't necessarily listen to me. She is terrific and I just thank her so much for the assistance she provides and never refuses to help me. Truly a phenomenal person. Thank you Shay!
