This Walmart is alright. They have lots of stuff, like groceries, clothes, and random things. Prices are usually decent, but sometimes you find better deals elsewhere. It's a big store, so you might need some time to find what you want. The checkout lines can get pretty busy, so patience is key. Staff is generally okay; some are friendly, others not so much. One of the main issues I have with this Walmart is their substitutions on online orders. They always give me something completely random as a substitute. There's no way to phone them to have them swap it out unfortunately. Overall, it's a decent place for everyday stuff, nothing fancy.

Horrible customer service! I found a small table for my balcony. It didn't have a price tag and was the only one on the shelf. The shelf tag said $5.97. When I was checking out I told the cashier the shelf tag said $5.97, instead of checking the price she told me if there is on price tag don't take it off the shelf. She refused to sell it to me and put it under her register. I then asked for the manager. Shantel came over and said it's not $5.97 (she didn't know how much it was) and refused to sell it to me. I had other items in my cart, I walked out and left everything I had intended to buy. I will never shop at Walmart again.

Went for new tires. Service was slow and the woman at the register was sullen and rude. I had an appointment, but I still had to wait 1/2 hour for them to serve me. While I was waiting, I watched a mechanic install a tire on another car using a circular (rather than star) pattern on the lugs. When I got my car back, the balancing weights were on the outside of the tire. When I contacted Walmart to complain, they refused to make it right. I've never been a fan of Walmart; now I'm even less inclined to give them my business. This store is NSFW.

This place is the worst. I placed an order for pick up for 10am. Got here at 11:45 It's been well over an hour wait. The lady next to me said she has been waiting for 2 hours. They seem to only have one woman delivering the pick up items! She seemed to be the only one working. For me NEVER AGAIN!

A typical vacation stop for me.... Walmart! I enjoyed this location. It was clean and well stocked. Everything that we were looking for we were able to locate with no hassle. One of our reasons to stop was to stock up on liquor for the hotel room. This location had its own liquor store which I've never seen at any other Walmart. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. Wish I remembered her name. She could tell we were from out of town and suggested us to a local karaoke bar. (See separate review for this gem). She even told us if we go out first drinks were on her to welcome us to Ft Lauderdale!

This is strictly for the pharmacy. I am an avowed Walmart hater, but the pharmacy team at this location is amazing- they go above and beyond consistently. Considering how overworked and underpaid they probably are (it IS Walmart) I've been so surprised by their consideration. Be nice to them!

Aspires to be a clogged sewer, but has a steep upward climb. Posts "No Return" policy notice where it's not noticeable. Neither the sales associate nor the receipt provides notice either. I got home to discover it was defective and would not work. They would not permit a return or an exchange, I appealed to the Store Manager who said NO but refused to speak with me. I was told to call Customer Service. He recited policy again. I reiterated it was defective and did not work and was told to take it up with manufacturer. I asked for his name repeatedly, but he refused to give it. They do not make good on what they sell, they do not clearly notify customers of policies, and they treat customers with no respect. There are other places with the same goods and the same, or better, prices, that are more respectful. They'll be getting my business, not Walmart!

I believe in giving credit where credit is due. I realize that most of the time when I come to yelp it's to complain, so I wanted to be sure to give some well-deserved praise to the Walmart on W. Broward in Fort Lauderdale. Normally, this place is a dumpster fire (like most Walmarts, let's be honest), but on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, this place has vastly improved. I don't know what happened or who they hired, but kudos to Walmart executive management for obviously hiring a new team that cares. The parking lot, which used to look like a trash heap -- literally -- was 90% cleaner! Management has installed trash cans throughout the parking lot. Not just in one or two locations, throughout the entire lot. Thank you! Now just because they're there doesn't mean the stupid people who shop here are going to use them all of the time, but those cans have made a huge difference. Obviously, many, many, many people have chosen to put their trash in those cans rather than throw it on the ground. That was first impression improvement right there. Next, entering the building. There were carts available! I don't know if all the wheels actually rolled in the same direction, but hey, they were THERE for the first time ever and not scattered all over the formerly filthy lot outside. Again, thank you, management. Let's keep walking, shall we? My eyes hit the produce section and the shelves were stocked, faced, and most importantly, clean! Do my eyes deceive me?? No. Upon closer inspection, the shelves are full of fresh produce and the juice shelf is orderly and faced. Wow! I walked back to get a couple gallons of distilled water. Normally those shelves look like they've been raided after the apocolypse and the aisle has all kinds of plastic and pallets that you need to step over. Not this time! not only were these shelves, too, faced and stocked, an actual Walmart employee saw me hesitate by the water and asked -- without prompting of any kind -- if he could help me find something!!! What?! Wow. No, but thank you for asking!!! He stopped his conversation with a friend with whom he was speaking to do his job and ask if he could help me, a customer!! This has never happened in all of my Walmart experience. At this point, I'm totally gobsmacked, but I need to get shampoo from the beauty aisle, another former minefield. But, again, stocked, faced shelves, clean floors, employees unboxing items and putting them in their correct spots. Where am I? I spoke to a lady who was restocking merchandise who, get this, actually returned by greeting and responded in kind!! She wasn't loud talking with her fellow stockers, no loud music, no loud laughter, nothing but working. I must be in the twilight zone. This entire store has seemly done a 180 in what, I guess within the last 2-3 weeks since I was there last. Unbelievable. Now don't get me wrong, the People of Walmart are still there, but hey, that's not this company's fault. Walmart management at 2500 W. Broward Blvd., thank you for cleaning up this store. I know it wasn't easy but it hasn't gone unnoticed. You all should be very proud of the progress you've made in such a short time. Thank you!

I went to this Walmart to return and item that I had bought at a different store, since I was in the downtown area. The parking lot seems very dirty with paper, plastic and stuff all over. I walked in ... and it was like pandemonium, there were tons of people trying to check out, a bunch of people on this side of the registers, like waiting for their family or friends to pay, it was just very busy and very congested. I went to the Returns section and I was third in line. When the guy in front of me got the counter, he spent a long time talking to the lady behind the counter about their family, social stuff, etc....it's like....this is a store, not the social gathering for friends and family. It literally took like 15 min for this guy to finish talking about his social updates and do his return. When I got to the counter, I did my thing and I was out of there after having spent like 3 min at the counter....but almost 30 min total since I had arrived at the store....what a pain....!!!!!

This store is a train wreck as is almost all of the Walmarts in south east Florida. The customer service is horrible the store is dirty and shelves messy and out of stock. The associates are not friendly. I don't expect much when I go into a Walmart anymore as they've gotten so large they do not care about their customers satisfaction anymore. This is why I spend my money with other retailers. I will not shop a Walmart unless absolutely necessary.

I took my son in to get an eye exam and some glasses. The eye exam was $85.00. After paying the $85.00 I proceeded to shop when my son called me back to tell me that I was undercharged. I asked the vision associate what was the other charge? He conveyed to me that the examiner removed an eyelash hair from my son's eye and the charge was $50. Are you kidding me. Stay away from this place.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The fact that they only have 3 lanes open is ridiculous. Lines were so long they were covering the entirety of the store. Then, we have this couple in front of us who magically make their way into a lane that's closed. They place all their stuff on the conveyor belt and suddenly someone is checking them out. When we approach the register the lady says in a very rude way that she is closed. How is it possible that you are closed but picking who you can provide service to? This is ridiculous.
