We drove by here looking for a watering hole in the middle of nowhere. We did find it, but the exterior was heavily decorated with rustic junk. The place was unappealing. It works for the locals obviously because the business stays open. Maybe it's a lack of options out in the woods? Not my cup of tea, and that's okay.

I am a thru hiker on the Florida trail and I’m highly disappointed with this place first off everyone in there the first second I walked in there gave me dirty looks and attitude the minute I walked in there the bartender working at noon on 4/22/24 was the ruddiest bartender I’ve ever met she gave me a attitude the whole time I was in there and she heard my conversation on the phone and cut me off with only having 2 drinks and I was not even drunk because I said I went to rehab 2 years ago in the passed which was none of her business if I choose to drink or not and saids she was just looking after me but I was just a hiker coming in for a couple drinks and snacks before heading back on the Florida trail because I was on vacation her attitude sucked from the start with all the dirty looks too she would give and same with the other lady working there I wouldn’t come back even if I was starving or need a resupply I would much rather risk hitchhiking for food or beer which I did right after to be honest and just left because I was so amazed by the poor service and disrespect I was given here and I was highly disappointed by all the good things I’ve heard about this place from other thru hikers I’m ashamed that this hiking icon for the Florida trail and that bartender working that day totally ruined a place that was meant to be good for hiking spirits and drinks was ruined for me due to extremely rude service next time I’m backpacking the Florida trail thru Ocala national forest I will avoid at all cost I will never spend a dime at this business again and I will be giving a negative shoutout on my hiking video I am making about the Florida trail about this establishment.

Great group of people!??For any hiking/camping needs, they have a pretty good variety in their little store. Plus, they have a $5 shower & washer/dryer available. I think the washer is $2.50 & dryer $2. They're not really big but you can get your clothes cleaned if needed. ?Had an amazing time at Sun night karaoke! Haven't gone on Fri night yet but I'm sure that will be fun too.???

It was very small but a cool local hangout. Glad they have a jukebox. There were a couple pool tables. But they only serve beer, water, soda.. free peanuts.. little seating. But a cool place to stop late night or for a quick beer on the bikes..
