The park is friendly for dogs, allowing them everywhere except in the springs. The washrooms are very clean, but the facilities have some issues, such as open windows and fans running constantly even in cold weather, which can make showers uncomfortable and increase utility costs. Campers noted the proximity to the highway causes some road noise, but overall, the atmosphere remains peaceful. Campers also mentioned that the park can be busy with many visitors, and the staff are friendly. While the park is nice, some facilities such as sewage dumping are expensive, and there are no laundry facilities. Despite these drawbacks, Salt Springs Recreation Area offers a quiet, scenic spot to relax and enjoy nature.

Were u get in is super slippery, my friend fell and hurt her back. We go about once a month. Mention to staff about it. Not as bad but super slick still. One day someone is going to bust there head open and sue. Rubber mats need to be put someone on stairs and entry to spring. Spring and spring grounds are great
