Technically speaking, some prices are “high” but for true, quality antiques you always pay a price and I have always found the Peddler to be perfectly fair. The owners are always kind but never pushy about things. They just let me take my time and look at items which I really appreciate since I like to really look over items before purchasing. “I visited this distinctive store and was impressed by the extensive display outside. Upon entering, I noticed that many unique items were priced accordingly. If you're searching for a bargain or attempting to negotiate, I would advise against it. Initially, the owner seemed somewhat arrogant, likely due to dealing with numerous non-serious customers. I found a diamond ring that caught my eye, but he didn't have a scale to weigh it, so he asked me to call him the next day for pricing. About two weeks later, I stopped by, and he mentioned he'd taken the ring home, citing that his store was busy enough without selling gold there. He instructed me to call back in four days for the price, which seemed somewhat dismissive. When I called, he acted as though I was bothering him, saying he hadn't determined the price yet. At that point, I was about to give up, but since I genuinely liked the ring, I persisted. Twenty minutes later, he called me back with the price. I attempted to negotiate $100 off, but he seemed uninterested and abruptly ended the call. The next day, I visited the store again, and he showed me the ring, this time being slightly more cordial. After discussing the price and learning about the research involved, we reached a mutually agreeable deal his Price though but i wanted Ring so at this point did not care. He was pleasant at the end, and I felt I got a fair price. I will consider returning to the store. Dont think owner cares if i do or dont.”
