We stopped there on a recent girl trip and everyone found something they loved. I’m going to attach the photos of my awesome flamingo nightlight! PS. note the sparkly feet on my flamingo. it’s all the details, right? Also, the bracelet was tiny. if you have a small wrist, you know how hard that is to find.”

“I just had a great experience with Anita and The Islander. I was vacationing in Anna Maria and saw a Charlie B cardigan that I loved. I tried it on but it was too big. So I searched online and found one in my size at The Islander. I ordered it and was pleased I had snagged the last one in stock. After a couple of days I noticed that my package was processed by the shop but showing that the USPS was waiting on the sender. I contacted The Islander by email and got an immediate response. They were puzzled but would check on it. The next day I got a phone call. They had dropped the package off for mailing but the regular carrier had been off and the sub had not picked up my package.I was reassured that it would be picked up that day and on its way to me. I got a couple more emails from Anita that all was well and she was sorry for the delay(not their fault in any way). I was so happy that my sweater was not lost forever in the confusion of the Christmas rush.
It is so refreshing to have an experience like this. So often ,people just don’t care. I wholeheartedly recommend The Islander to those of you who long for professional and friendly interaction from shops and staff you love.”

“We stopped in for ice cream with our little ones, and right as we got there, a storm rolled in and we were stuck waiting it out. Graham, Cody, and Gemma went above and beyond. They welcomed us into their trailer and let us stay safe and dry until the storm passed.

Not only was the ice cream delicious, but their kindness and hospitality meant so much to our family. We are incredibly grateful for their generosity and will absolutely make this a must-visit spot every time we’re back.

“Picked up a shirt, sticker, and a couple of magnets. If you're easily offended, I wouldn't go in. Lots of hilarious novelty items. Definitely a lot better than the other generic gift shops around. My only gripe is that the shirt I liked didn't have FMB on it.”
