Love my car but shady people. Bought a used car here (only 4K miles) and they informed me that there were 2 sets of keys with the car. After the sale went through they back pedaled and said there was no spare. Wouldn’t have gone through finalizing the deal without negotiating having a spare.

The only reason we would consider buying here is due to Will. He is an old school car salesman, tells it like it is! If you are planning to buy from this dealership do yourself a huge favor, ask to see Will first!

Do your self favor stay away from this dealership.Manager and I made a deal for one price then we went next building where all nightmare started.Daisy the lady who was supposed to do all paperwork tried to sell almost 5 k worth of Warranty! I told her from beginning that I wouldn’t even use free oil change as I live in other side of the town and I have no time to spend in Toyota dealership to get that free oil change. She screamed she yelled saying that I don’t understand that hybrid component is not covered by warranty that comes with new car. 2 hours later with long arguments and screaming I just left the dealership. I thought Toyota was reliable company. I guess not anymore.Well that what Fort Myers Toyota worker said not me.

Had a $58,000 print out offer from salesman for a vehicle I wanted and when it came to sign with financial guy he showed me an invoice for 81,000... started trying to charge for things already in package deal. First experience with them and last. Bought my 1794 Tundra elsewhere with no hassles.

Frustrating Ordeal with AutoNation - Recent 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 PurchaseAs a wife sharing the impact of our recent AutoNation experience, I must express our deep disappointment. In September 2023, we were thrilled to purchase a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, expecting a dependable vehicle. However, our excitement quickly turned to frustration. Not even three months later, in December, the truck was back at AutoNation with over 30 error codes. Compounding our worries, we were notified via automation about rodent droppings in the engine, a claim that the Chevy auto shop, upon a detailed inspection, has yet to confirm. This discrepancy is alarming and casts doubt on the condition of the Silverado at the time of purchase. To add to our distress, this purchase was part of a trade-in deal, where we exchanged another truck for $10,000, leaving an outstanding balance of $30,938.93 on the Silverado. When we sought help from AutoNation, their solution was a trade-in offer for $25,000, plunging us into negative equity of at least $5,938.93.Furthermore, the Vehicle Protection Plan (VPP) standard platinum we bought has done little to shield us from these early, significant issues. The financial strain is exacerbated as AutoNation expects us to pay for a rental vehicle while still servicing the car note for the Silverado. My husband, now without a vehicle, is facing challenges in commuting to work. This ordeal with AutoNation has been financially and emotionally draining. We had high hopes from a reputed dealer, and this experience has been a stark contrast to those expectations. I share our story as a warning to others to carefully evaluate and consider their options before committing to a purchase at AutoNation.

For some reason no one at this dealer knows what inventory they have on hand and what they don't. Such a crazy concept since that should be the bread and butter of your business. Which honestly is amazing since they "apparently" have NOTHING on hand. They're just looking to waste your time and scam you. Literally just 15 people just standing around all sharing the same brain cell. If you're looking for a Toyota, go somewhere else. Save yourself the headache.

If you want to avoid having problems in your life, be very careful when you go to buy a used vehicle from them, possibly if the vehicle has problems they will hide it, they will erase the check engine codes, and when you do the paperwork, they will possibly hide pages and They do not give you all of them, then if the vehicle has problems you will have to fix it with the warranty that they sell you, which is of no use to you, since it does not cover those vehicle repair costs. So possibly you will be buying a car with problems that you will then have to fix out of your own pocket. Toyota Used Vehicles is not entirely reliable. They throw you around like a ball, they don't want to take responsibility for the damage caused and the loss of time they caused you. You will have to spend more money and you will not have a car to be able to move or work.... You will have a lot of headaches. And with a not vast apology, because the damage has already been done. That's why I warn you, be very careful, because you may be deceived, you will have to stay with a vehicle with many problems for a long time, your credit damaged, repair costs. Etc.

**CAUTION DON'T BUY HERE - THIS IS A TRUE STORY!!We shopped online to find a late model (or new) very specific vehicle for months. We were excited to when we found that Auto Nation Toyota Ft Myers had an ad running on AutoTrader with the exact used truck we wanted. Since we had good experiences growing our fleet over the years with Auto Nation multiple times at a different location we put a deposit down conditional on pictures and a virtual walk around. We never thought there would be an issue but, wow were we wrong! The salesman sent false images that hid obvious dents and damages. The pictures of the tires were from a different vehicle. We flew in to drive it home the lies and deception was obvious. They offered a petty $250 discount for this. Having no other transportation to leave in what could we do? We reluctant paid (over $40k) for the vehicle in full. In order to make the transaction easy and to be certain the vehicle would be ready to "drive away" days prior to our arrival we emailed proof the vehicle had been added to our fleet policy along with a copy of the Drivers License. We brought a cashiers check and gave them additional copies (of both) in person at the dealership at the time of the sale too.Six weeks later (October 15, 2023) we received a text messages demanding we send a copy of our insurance or the tag would be canceled. We initially thought it was a scam so we asked for their name. The texting person refused to give and replied "no insurance - no name". Now concerned we went directly to our local license and tag agency and discovered that the tag was canceled on October 5th, 2023 - a full ten (10) days prior to the text threats. We then did some research and discovered the threatening text messages came from Shelby Arcuri, Director of Finance. We called the dealership and asked to speak with the General Manager William Sowers Jr several times. The operator said he was not available and she would not take any messages. All she could do is send us to voicemail. We left several professional messages yet we still have not had a call back. We also sent an email with a 3rd copy of the insurance card as well as the full policies declaration to the (now confirmed) AutoNation email address to Shelby Arcuri the morning of October 17, 2023.We stated in the email that these documents had been presented now three (3) times, demanded the reinstatement of the tag, an overnight a copy of the title. We asked for peace and quite and no more nasty text messages. We also stated the fact that we have a vehicle we cannot drive, it has bald tires and dents. All we want to be rid of Auto Nation.A few hours later (October 17, 2023 at 3:30pm) we received this nasty text message (again from Shelby Arcuri):"You won't be getting a title or anything from us, until we have insurance. If you have insurance, why haven't you sent us a copy? Again, for the last time, we will not be doing any title paperwork, or issuing a title, until you send us a copy of your insurance card."After seeing that we went directly to the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle Department (FLHSMV) and asked for their help. They were great and confirmed that Auto Nation is likely committing fraud and that the VIN itself was no longer in "the system". They suggested the vehicle may be a stolen one and that the dealership could be trying to hide they may have sold us a stolen vehicle. They said it is common for dealerships to sell cars with fake titles and other types of fraud. They were helpful and showed us how to file a formal complaint with the State Compliance Department. They recommended contacting an attorney. We called on several to present the information and facts. All agreed this is likely fraud and a clear case of deceptive business practices. The lawyer and FLHSMV believe we have a "very strong
