After Hurrican IAN, our house was demoed, and we need all new appliances, Refrigerator, Stove/oven, dishwasher, Microwave oven, Washer and Dryer. Charles at Bill Smiths came through with all of our needs. most items were delivered before we could even move back in. Bill Smith has a return policy of 30 day on returns, we were not able to move back within that timeline. When we did move back in, you could imagine the need to start cleaning, so the Washer and dryer was very important. The Washer stopped working after a week. we called and arranged to have a service man come out, that took 3 weeks (because all the others calls from the Hurrican) we understood, after the service man looked at the unit, he needed parts, and he said that would be 5-7 days. :( after 10 days he showed back up :) the unit broke again within a day. we called Bill Smiths again and, as you could guess, we were not happy. Charles contacted his Manager Trent, we expalined our problems with the unit, the timeline/down time. after a short time, Trent had us come in and pick a new unit and set up delivery of a new unit in three days. We were not happy in the beginning of this, But Bill Smith team did us right, Thank you Duane & Tish Gietz

I rarely ever give a bad review but this time I have to. Bill Smith generally has a good reputation so maybe this is only due to the incompetence and lack of concern for customers on the part of the Manager and salesman at the Bonita Springs location. In any case, I had ordered a refrigerator, When it came in I asked the salesman if if it could be delivered on Friday after 2:00PM, when I was home from work. When I called on Friday to see if there was a specific time they were expected to be there I was told that it is scheduled between 11AM and 2PM. Well, I wasn't going to be there, so I asked to speak to the manager. This is where the disappointment comes in. A customer need only give the time frame for delivery. It is THEIR job to see it get's delivered in that time frame. If it can't be done, it is THEIR responsibility to tell the customer that! They failed to do that. Then, instead of being cordial and understanding, the manager tried to tell me this is my fault somehow and that they don't schedule deliveries. So the catch 22 conversation began and went round and round. They give me a day I can have it delivered, I give my time frame I am available to receive it and he tells me sales people don't schedule deliveries. So how do you schedule a delivery??? I never was able to find out how they schedule a delivery, but I did find out they don't take any responsibility for it and don't care about the customer after the sale.

Absolutely without question or comparison, the worst experience I have ever had with a major purchase. The technicians try to fix problems but they are directed by leadership team that is aloof, dismissive and disingenuous. I have 8K worth of GE appliances in my home and over 35 work orders since 2020 purchase. The fridge, range, D/W and dryer still don't function correctly. Avoid !Update ( 8/23/22) We got a call yesterday from Bill Smith management. They offered a resolution to our complaints. Time will tell if they follow through. I'll post another update then.

Only buy from the best! In a world of big box and Amazon, it is always nice to see a locally owned family operated business. They don't make "Good Deals" they make Great Ones. Check them out!

We ordered all new appliances at Bill Smith for our new home. Delivery was a bit of a problem, but not unusual much like everything else. Our issue, we had a problem with our dishwasher emitting a smell after use. Bill Smith sent a repair man to look it over and decided that the smell was coming from a hose that needed to be reconnected. The issue seemed to be OK for a couple months, and the smell came back including standing water in the bottom of the dishwasher. We called again and was told the warranty was over (by about 3 weeks) and we would need to pay for service. We argued that this was a call back from the first issue. Their reply was to call LG, the manufacturer of the Dishwasher and see if they would extend the warranty. We called LG and they have not returned our call. Bottom line, Bill Smith appliances should stand behind their repairs. They did not and now want to charge us.

Was sold an $2800.00 appliance that did not work upon installation.Service Dept was less then helpful…..store “ Assistant Manager “ Steve in the Naples office was apologetic but unable to help.Corporate was unavailable to even take a call.Service Manager Cindy Cochran was going to call me back at “ Her Convenience “ , no VM available.Summation….do business with a less corporate, smaller business….that would need your business more and provide a real person that had some ability to be helpful.

Worst place ever, their prices are ridiculous! I don’t see this place staying open much longer. Rather buy anywhere else but this place. Take your money elsewhere. They have the worst customer service ever!

We bought a home that has the suite of GE kitchen applicnces from Bill Smith. About 4 yeqrs old. The frig stopped cooling but the freezer was ok. First called GE but they could not come for 10 days. Called Bill Smith and they could come in 3 days. Their technician came with a trainee and said the circulating fan in the top was bad. Easy fix but they would have to order one and with covid, parts from China were all backlogged. 2 weeks later they get the part. Same technician comes with another trainee. The trainee installs the fan. The next day the upper part of the frig is 18 degrees. 12 degrees in the hydrator. All the produce is frozen solid. Most of the cooking liquids are a slush. Milk is frozen. Call Bill Smith service and they say it will be a week before they can get back out. I suggest this is not a good plan and the service manager gets involved, They call back and say the tech will be there in 3 days. Best they can do. He comes does his thing and tells my wife it should ba back to normal by the next morning. Next morning - no change. Still frozen. Call service dept again and get the same week timeline. Thankfully, the nice lady esalates to her manager and per my request a different tech comes the next day at 6:30 pm. Juan opens up the panels and immediately sees the problem. The trainee had installed the fan upside down, forcing all the cold air back onto the evaporator which was then icing up the box. He removed a half inch of ice off the bottom of the box. Has to use a steamer to defrost the evaparator and the frozen water on the door. Finally, a compitent technician. This all spanned nealry a month, starting just before Thanksgiving. Thankfully, we have a second frig in the garage or we would have been toast, I would be hard preseed to call them again and if I did, I would insist on Juan. Use them at your own risk.

It was the most embarrassing and helpless thing that I have ever encountered. The woman manager started talking about strip clubs because she gave me my change and there was a bunch of ones and she kept explaining how her and her friends love to go to strip clubs it was embarrassing my wife so much my daughter and her had to leave
