I would give zero stars if that were an option. This company caused damage to multiple pieces of my furniture, including expensive items that were in perfect condition before the move.
They forced down a shelf in my Crate & Barrel cabinet so badly that it is now completely wedged and unusable.
They broke a support on my dining room table’s base after lifting it incorrectly — even though I specifically told them to remove the top first. They eventually did remove the top, but only after breaking the base, and still insisted it “wasn’t their fault.”
They also managed to lose an entire shelf from one of my bookcases.
This wasn’t a matter of “minor scratches” or normal moving wear — these were preventable issues caused by careless handling and ignoring instructions. For the price I paid for the move and the value of the items involved, this is unacceptable.
I cannot recommend this company to anyone who expects their belongings to arrive safely or handled with basic professionalism.
I am open to further conversation if the company wishes to make me whole for the damage. As of now, no resolution has been offered.

The company had a great phone service, easy to make the appointment, go over the details and estimate. The reminders were timely and useful. The 3 young man, James, Larry and Andrew were on time, ready and willing, it was a long 6 hrs for them but they did not stop! They were careful and mindful of our possessions and the walls and doors. They were AMAZING! we wish them the best because when you work so hard and have those high standard ethics, you deserve success. Thank you all!!!

Great exoerience. The two College Hunks Andrew and Colby, were able to move my item the same day that I called. They kept me informed of their travel and came when they said they would arrive. They were friendly and very efficient. I would highly recommend this company without reservation.

I always use College Hunks for local moving and removal of junk. They are very professional and do a great job. Their price is competitive and reasonable. They also contribute meals as a donation for every move they do. If you are planning a move, call them and get an estimate! This is my recommendation!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with our College Hunks team — Marcus, Pedro, Colby, and Giana. They were fast, friendly, and genuinely easy to work with from start to finish. Their communication was spot-on, and they managed expectations with total professionalism even when a few items arrived broken (not their fault at all).
They handled every part of the job with care and confidence. But what stood out most was how unremarkable they made the day in the best possible way — no stress, no chaos, no battles. Just smooth, steady teamwork that felt more like moving with friends than hiring a crew.
Five stars all around. We’d ask for this exact team again in a heartbeat.

My experience was a 10 out of 10. The price was very good. The service excellent, on time, knowledgeable young men who knew how to move an item that was 500or 600 pounds safely. Dominic and Martel were perfect gentlemen and efficient. Domonic knew the best way to move a heavy object. I would definitely use College Hunks again.
