I was biking an event and had a significant blowout. The tire could not be repaired on road. I walked several miles to Dicks Sporting Goods. I was pretty frustrated, listening to YouTube videos trying to figure out how to fix so I could get back to my car.
I went upstairs to the bike section, looking for options. A young sales person came around and asked if he could help. I explained what happened and he said he would be glad to fix it. I was a bit surprised and didn’t realize they did repairs.
He took the tire off, washed all the tubeless gunk away and attempted to repair. He was unable and then he determined he was running out of options.
I requested he put a smaller tube in to get me to my car.
Michael was very gracious and helpful to this old man as I was super frustrated with the situation! And kind of at my wits end what to do!
Dicks, you are very lucky to have Michael!! Michael has earned you a customer for years to come!

Expensive and not a lot to see... Not much inventory the day I came by.. Walmart has more than here and way better prices.

Claire helped me out with my shoes and she did a great job! I asked her to pull out four pairs of shoes! The shoes worked great. Thank you!!!

I am leaving 4 stars because Tara the check out girl was amazing and the store manager was excellent. I had a fishing pole that the insurance was purchased on and they helped me resolve it.
I did not give a 5 star because of a gentlemen upstairs in the golf department. My kids and i were hitting a tennis ball at the putt putt area set up. We assumed it was a fun idea. He came along and claimed the felt on a tennis ball will ruin the putter. Upon walking off i asked if he had a golf ball that could be used. He claimed he must stand there if he gives us a ball and it is for people who are buying a putter. He never asked if we were interested in buying a putter. Personally if he had asked if he could help us select a putter and when we replied we were not looking for one replied that the putter area was actually set up for people who wanted to get a feel for the club prior to a purchase i think he would have faired better in my opinion.

Went sneaker shopping for the wife. We walked into the sneaker department and 2 employees talking to each other in the department. As we walked up and down a couple aisles they looked but never moved to help. I went over and asked if they worked in that section. One said yes and the other left. Asked a couple questions and he didn't seem to want to help. Kind of just stood around and offered no help. Tried on pair on and because of his lack of interest and terrible help we just left. God help us. People don't seem to want to work.

I made a huge mistake with my online order but Abby was super helpful getting everything sorted out and Brandon was wonderful going back and forth grabbing my daughter a bunch of shoes to try on! The store was super nice and organized and wonderfully kept the team's obviously doing a great job!
