Very disappointed, no wifi, like advertised, no breakfast, as advertised, no coffee machine in room. Shower was clogged. No lotion, no ice bucket, TV small and static not clear. No toilet paper roll holder. Room, needs paint job, missing light bulbs in some lamps.

Pleasantly Surpised --just needed a room to sleep inOriginally, we only booked a couple of nights because the hotel we had been staying in (in Cape Coral) wasn't meeting our needs and, honestly, we weren't sure what we would find because the price was lower and in a part of Ft Myers we were unfamiliar with. Happily, it was clean (if not current decor), quiet and comfortable. NOTHING seedy about it like we'd seen in other parts of Ft Myers after Irma. What a relief! The towels were clean and pretty fluffy; the bed was very comfy. I slept really well and since I was there primarily to sleep that was super important to me. There was plenty of good lighting and the WiFi worked well! in our room.We were in the handicapped room (first floor near the office) that had just a shower in the bathroom for easy wheelchair access; neither of us missed a tub. There's no door on the frame to the bathroom, so I imagine that is easier for someone in a wheelchair to navigate. The downside is that there's no privacy when using the "facilities". ;PThe bedroom was a bit crowded with furniture, but after our hotel stay in Cape Coral that didn't have enough furniture it was nice to have some place to sit to work/eat other than the bed.Honestly, I don't see how anyone in a wheelchair could easily navigate the bedroom area because the of the extra furniture, but it worked well for us and we were pleased.I was also happy that we didn't hear a lot of noise from the road, even though we were toward the front of the property. There was a rather sizable clean refrigerator (bigger than the standard hotel fridge, but not full size), a microwave and hair dryer. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We were happy to extend our stay for a couple more days, so we didn't have to move again before completing our tasks in Cape Coral. There aren't many hotel choices in Cape Coral and this one was close enough that it didn't add too much travel time for us and I would definitely stay here again the next time we need to visit Cape Coral or Ft Myers.Rooms: It's a clean comfortable place to sleep (that I think is still pricey, but these are the times we live in. Definitely NOT the hotel's fault.)At no time did I feel unsafe during our stay and access to our room was easy for us. The staff was pleasant and we hope they succeed.

My friend and I stayed at your Pembroke Darien lake location on Rte 77. Your staff member Marion who checked us in was extremely upbeat and super friendly. Jolene who checked us out was very helpful with printing out directions to our destination. Both women are an asset to your hotel. Keep up the good work.SincerelyJudi Freeman and Glynis ByrneRooms: Beds were very comfortable. Room was very clean. Would stay here again

Stayed for almost two weeks (7/4 to 7/16) at the Econo Lodge for a sort of a "stay-cation".Staff was very friendly and accommodating when I decided to keep extending my stay. The only black mark was on my check out day the cleaning girl was knocking on my door as if to hurry me out so she could clean it.I understand the need for customers to check out and them to clean the rooms, but check out time is 11am, not 10am, or 10:20am. I had just gotten out of the shower and was getting dressed to leave but wanted my hair to have a chance to dry ...

This is by far the worst experience I have had booking a room from this hotel! The room was unclean and unpleasant. They have roaches (lots of them). We were told that we need to wait a hour to get towels that (they never provided in the first place). When I complained to the front desk after turning on the lights and having roaches come out from every where. The customer service I received from Jessica and the manager / owner was rude and unhelpful. When speaking to the manager / owner Mark, he proceeds to tell me that I couldn't get a refund and there was nothing he could do for me. I took pictures and video which I provided for the front desk. Jessica was acting like I was bothering her with this issues I was having so she brushed me off telling I had to speak with the owner. What a waste of time speaking with the manager / owner Mark. I wouldn't recommended this hotel to anyone. Please beware when renting a room.
