The Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers is a very nice and fascinating historical site on 20 acres. Visitors will enjoy the amazing Edison Main House, Guest House, Caretaker’s House, and Ford House. The award-winning Moonlight Garden and historic gardens are very awesome. The Edison Ford Museum has lots of informative displays with hundreds of inventions and historic artifacts, which is absolutely interesting. Guided tours are available and are loved for their enormous wealth of information. Alternatively, a QR code is provided for a self-guided visit. The site is a fabulous part of history, with mind-boggling progress on display. The wonderful gift shop and nursery are also awesome. It is a recommended place to visit, requiring a minimum of around five hours. It can be hot in summer, so bringing a hat is advised. It is open seven days a week except on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
They are very nice beautiful estates to walk around. Nice inside museum to get out of the heat. Unfortunate that you can't go inside and have to view everything behind barriers. Kinda takes away from the experience.

Super cool spot! If you’re going in the summer, go early in the day — it gets really hot outside on the grounds quickly.
The museum is air conditioned and very worth it. Overall, worth the stop. We spent about 2 hours here, and that seemed like more than enough time.

The museum was nice, and you can see the buildings and homes up close through windows openings, and you can even see the original Ford Model T's. The indoor part was also very nice, with many artifacts and inventions, and the presentation taught me a lot, too! I would recommend that everyone visits here at least once!
