Came here with a friend to buy a specific AR he wanted. The lady behind the counter was very friendly, even told the 2 gentlemen to carry on their conversation in the back to give us her full undivided attention. I will be coming back here to buy more firearms in the future.

They aren't very personable. They also make you wait longer then what the waiting period requires. Transfer prices are high then other places in the area and customer service is extremely slow.
In response to owner. I have used you 2 times for transfers. Both times I was told to wait 5 bussiness days. The first time I came in on a Monday and was told i could pick it up next Monday. The 2nd time I did my paperwork on Friday i was told to pick it up next Friday. I just used shoot straight yesterday (monday) and was told I could pick it up friday.

Greet business! The owners are very efficient and very nice, and the transfer fee is very reasonable. Definitely the FFL you should go to if you live in the South Fort Myers - Estero area.

UPDATE: In response to the owner...Yes, I came in when others were there, and after they were helped it was my turn to be helped. So, no, there weren't people in front of me. Also, you say the other people were very busy buying guns. What the heck do you think I was there for?? I would have purchased right then if I had received even mediocre service. Sadly, that didn't happen.No, I did not want her to spend a bunch of time with me. I had 1 very simple question about the product you sell and she had zero interest in helping me with the answer. It would have taken less than 3 minutes to find the answer. You know how I know that? Because I called another store and they got my answer in less than 2 minutes.Yes, you are correct. Very few guns have that feature which is why I would think that you might know the gun in your store has that feature. I get that you can't remember everything about every gun but the lack of caring is the issue and your response proves my point even more. Your poor service and response is really what is uncalled for.Original Review: I went here to see if they carried a specific brand/gun I want to purchase. I already own a much older version and it has a safety feature I like. I got my carry permit through them and I had a good experience. So, I decided to go back and support a local business and get the service of a local shop rather than purchasing online. Unfortunately, this occasion was not like my first.They did have the gun that I want but not in the color I prefer. I asked the saleswoman if they could get it in matte black and if the newer model still has the same safety feature as the old model.About the color, the saleswoman started scrolling through a website and rather than looking at the computer monitor to find the one I specifically asked for, she looked at me and said I needed to point out the one I want. I thought a little strange but no biggie, I found and pointed at the one I want. I asked again about the safety feature. She replied, "You will have to research that." I then asked, "Aren't you the professional?" She replied, "I don't have time to look that up." That was my que to leave because she clearly wasn't interested in my business.The experience was very disappointing. My first trip was a 5 star experience and the 2nd trip was a 1 star....the response from the owner made it even worse.

This was my first gun purchase. I was nervous and really walking into new territory. The owners were soooo nice. This is a family owned business I I will keep coming back to them. I went here to purchase a firearm instead of driving a few more miles down the road to Bass Pro because I prefer to support small business. I won’t make that mistake again. The customer service at Bass Pro is head and shoulders above what I got here. I won’t go into detail but I will say I was overcharged by a large amount, made to feel totally unwelcome and when I went to pick up my firearm nobody even attempted to open the case, check serial # or give me any type of demonstration. When I got a partial refund the overcharge the receipt was tossed my direction and the woman turned and walked away. I still said “thank you” anyway and she didn’t even look my direction, just said “yep” clearly annoyed to be there. Not good. I will not go back and will not recommend this store to anybody.
