Flies everywhere. oxtail is $8.99 per pound though but at the cost of flies and eggs planted on your food. Not good at all. If this place got a health inspection, they would fail it. Lots of things wrong with this. we left and went to a different meat market.

If I could give this unsanitary place 0 stars l would. They sell you meat that looks “fresh” when it’s really spoiled, then when you go back THE NEXT DAY for a refund they all act like they don’t speak English and don’t know anything. The manager Luis proceeds to put his nose in the meat & tells me nothings wrong with it when clearly his facial expression after smelling it said it all.

Nice location for Latin and Caribbean foodstuffs. Really cool and knowledgeable folks. Try the home-made doughnuts. Challenge: see if YOU can pronounce the name of them!

First, the “butcher” insisted I take 3lb of goat with an 8lb tag on it. Then after his coworker yelled at him to fix it, the weight of meat was a pound less after butchering, yet they still tried to charge me for 8lbs. Ice and bone lost during the cutting do not weigh that much. I won’t be going back.

This is a place that I usually went to because of its convenience to my location. But I have since moved and haven’t been going as recently as I used to. I went today to go purchase some meat and upon walking in it still has the same smell. That is so strong. It still lingers on your clothes when you get in the car. I thought that would change because they have a new location, but no. I know exactly what I wanted and I wasn’t gonna stay long so I went to the back to get my choice of meat and asked the butcher to cut it to a certain size. I emphasized that I wanted it a medium size, and when he cut the meat, he didn’t show me to make sure exercise that I wanted, but cut it to what he thought that I wanted, and when he showed me the meat, I said it was too big. He opened his eyes at me and proceeded to talk to me very rudely and was having an attitude. He kept talking under his breath, making smart remarks So I simply told him if he doesn’t want to do his job else to do it. Get to the cashier and no one greets me. They just check me out. This store has been in business for over 10 years. The fact that nothing has changed, but the location is sad. I’ll be bringing my business somewhere else.

I went shopping here and there were roaches on the bread, I left my cart and walked out!!!!
