I genuinely cannot list another store that marks up products more. If you go and check for products elsewhere you will not find a single thing equivocally priced. I went in there looking for action figures and was pleasantly surprised to find that they had multiple of the ones I was looking for in stock. To my horror, every single figure that I checked the price on had a 50% or more markup from the price of the original retailers (in this case being Hasbro's’ marvel legends series) I can understand a 5-10$ maybe even 15$ markup. But when an already 25$ figure is upcharged to be 50$ that’s a level of absurdity that NOBODY should be settling for. This store hides behind the guises of discounts or good deals and horribly deceives you. If you value not overspending or even just maintaining the dignity of making good financial decisions, DO NOT SHOP HERE.

One star. Extremely misleading experience. My wife was told she was signing up for a simple 20% discount or membership deal at checkout, but it turned out to be a credit card application. No clear explanation, no mention of a hard credit pull, and definitely no transparency. It felt deceptive and predatory—especially targeting customers who think they’re just getting a basic promo. Be very careful at this store. We won’t be coming back.

BEWARE OF SCAM🚨. Cashier: USJ201 scammed us. If they try to give this flyer, they will fail to mention that you’re paying for a subscription!
I asked if there was any catch doing this, he only said they’re only going to ask for your info.
Their website is super glitchy too.

I visited on 4/1/25. The prices are very high ($9.99 per item). I saw the same products at different stores in the mall for 4-5 dollars cheaper. I got one tube of chips and a soda. When I got home I found the chips were expired and the soda was flat. After a drawn out back and forth correspondence, I was able to get refunded.

Update as of 2024: wont change my original rating but, the prices need to come down before this business fails as a whole! I visit from time to time but the mark up on everything is astronomical. It's fun to look but never buy.
Not normally a review guy. I had set up an appointment with Chris to trade in some DVDs. I always enjoy coming here but, Chris stood out. Thanks Chris. All the people here are pretty pleasant to deal with.

Has a great big collection of music, especially compared to the FYE near me in Port Charlotte. One big issue though is that the CDs are such an unorganized mess that I couldn't even find a place to being looking.

The place has some cool collectible stuff.Check the dates on the imported food products, though. Both items I purchased were expired. My fault I guess, for not checking.

Absolutely horrible do not I repeat do not sign up for the FYE membership. They basically and it starts charging you for magazines that you sure don't want and will not read or do anything it will start giving out your information and start having you charge little things all over the internet. I literally have to now have canceled over 17 times email them called them did and they still have not fixed it they still continue to take money out of my account they still continue to sell my information so my card and info is constantly having to be checked now. I literally started getting charged for three different kinds of magazines. Animal planet geographic and time something. All 24.50 each I also get continuously charged for this 1199 membership after I've already canceled again 17 times I have call them to cancel the membership absolutely horrible it's an absolutely horrible franchise don't trust

Takes me back to walk into an FYE. Weird complaint, but this one has an odd odor and it didn't matter where you were in the store, you can still smell it. Otherwise, great employees and the sales were nice.
