The manager at the location on Folwer is very RUDE and NASTY. I will not be renting from them again. I made reservations and paid 3 weeks in advance for a mid-size SUV and was told they did not have any they only had a compact SUV..

Unsatisfied due to an unauthorized charge of almost $100, which could not be explaned by the agent.
Also impossible to reach a live person by phone to discuss the reason for the unauthorized charge

Had the WORST experience with hertz and will never be renting through them again. They tried to scam me twice and didn’t give me the car I paid for. I booked a midsize SUV a week in advance. Maybe even a bit longer. Upon arrival to hertz, the lady tells me (terrible attitude. horrible service) that they don’t have any and I can come back tomorrow for one.
Then she proceeds to tell me to put my card on the reader. She said there’s a $750 cost. I asked why, as I already paid online. She said I didn’t pay yet. So I pulled it up and proved to her. She got caught trying to scam me. THEN she says after that there’s a $750 young driver fee. I booked through AAA so I was supposed to have it waived. So I told her I’d call them up, which is when her manager came from the back and fixed it and removed that for us.
So to sum it up so far, girl on the left with all her purple toys and keyboard has a terrible attitude and is one of the worst employees of anywhere I’ve seen. Tried scamming me and didn’t wanna help.
Anyways, day 2 comes. We call and ask if there’s a car available, there was not. This proceeds for a week. We’re stuck with a Corolla when we paid for a SUV. The Corolla couldn’t fit all of us that’s why we booked a bigger one so we had to book through a different service anyway. Every day they would tell us to call them, but didn’t offer to call us. In one whole month they did not change our car. Why did we pay for that car? They didn’t once ever give us the opportunity to switch.
Now on day 10 or so, we went to lunch and came back to what must have been a spider nesting in the car. I mean there were hundreds of tiny spiders everywhere. It was horrible. We were 5mins from our airbnb so we stuck it out and drove there with tiny spiders crawling all over us. Told hertz we needed to switch. To ANYTHING. They didn’t let us. Never called us about it. We had to call them nearly every day.
Will be emailing big corporate about this and definitely getting all my money back, if not through them I will through AMEX. This was a disgusting experience.

I recently rented a car from Hertz on Fowler Street in Fort Myers. It was an absolute pleasure without any hitches or hidden cost from the pick up to the delivery. My experience at the store was delightful and I hope I can go back there if I ever need to rent a car again

To make a long story short… I put in the wrong dates on the Hertz app so when I went in I was expecting a car ready and waiting. Even after I made my mistake they were still able to track me down a car at an even better rate than I was expecting. Sabrina and Vasna were extremely kind and considerate the entire time. Vasna was even nice enough to give me ride home after I dropped the car off. Thanks again to the both of you for excellent customer service.
