DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They canceled my pack, move and storage one business day before they were scheduled. Try and find movers to do the same in this economy at the last minute. I spoke with them directly earlier in the week and everything "was a go" but when it was too late they canceled!

Very very dissatisfied. Very bad job from Fort Myers Mr. Mover.I was arranged with Mr. Mover for the morning and they arrived after lunch at 1pm and finished at 6pm.All my furniture was moved to a new house. Second half of our belongings remained in one house and the other, who moved mostly wooden furniture, was destroyed. Every piece of my furniture was scratched. They placed the furniture on concrete. He did not respond to my complaint even though I sent them photos of the damaged furniture and asked them to comment. Of course no answer !In any case, I do not recommend ! Be being careful who you choose to moving company, I would rather pay more money for quality services, but Mr. Mover of Fr. Myers never again.Good luck for you best choice with moving company.

Ft. Meyers MR. Mover employees were caught 2 times opening and going through 2 boxes of valuables. Literally peeling back tape on 2 boxes and unzipping a duffel bag and holding out the items to ask about them. The mover took photo of drivers license and front of credit card on personal smart phone and sent to someone else who charge my credit card before they moved a box. Had to cancel credit card and get a new drivers license number. Contacted on call manager who told me we should have taken valuables in different vehicle. Called back to him a few days later he hung up on me and offered a conf call with the workers and my complaint should be wrote up. My people had to follow truck to drop off site at this point cause we figured they would stop and go through the boxes with valuables they put at the rear of the truck. Wrote letter to owner, tried to call back and talk to ceo, as well as online chat for him to call me, and no reply why his ft meyers workers were opening taped boxes and looking through boxes and putting at back of truck then stopping at gas station enroute to drop off spot. No reimbursement for the $800 move which would have helped along with company changes in policy. Better business complaint filed.

The most unprofessional job ever. They destroyed our freezer and damaged a lot of other furniture. They came to the job I’ll prepared and without the proper equipment. They said they’d send a adjuster out in the morning snd have heard nothing from them. In trying to contact the rep, josh, Rick, the “sales rep” said Josh wasn’t there and that he’d send him a message. I then asked the sales rep, who should be able to answer this “simple” question: “Your company has insurance, doesn’t it?” And he said that he doesn’t know and that josh would have to answer that.... Plus he said my wife made the call for the service and would talk to her even though my name was on the payment. Do you think I have a problem?

CRAZY PRICES!!! They charged me $500 for the hour . Made a horrendous move because one of the guys was so tired. They broke all my China and blamed it on me. Now the bill is almost $800 for a 3 hour bad inefficient service . STAY AWAY from these thieves!!

We chose Mr. Mover because they had their own climate-controlled storage facility and we needed to store all of our furniture and boxes for one month before we could move into our new home. The guys who moved us did a great job at our homes, but when our belongings were unloaded into storage, then loaded back into the truck for delivery to our new home, care was not taken and several items went missing and almost all of our wood furniture arrived with scrapes, gouges, and scratches. All repairable...not enough damage to file an insurance claim..but there was a lot of damage. Mr. Mover did not offer to have it repaired or offer us any sort of refund for our trouble to get it repaired on our own. They found only one missing item, but only after I had searched the internet trying to replace it and told them it was irreplaceable. I imagine they would be fine for a local one-day move from one place to another, but under no circumstances should you let your belongings out of your sight. It should also be noted that they did not come look at what we were moving, rather gave us an hourly rate "guestimate", which was reasonable, however, even though I told them we had a lot of boxes they were not prepared for our move. They arrived late, filled the truck, and couldn't get it all in. Had to come back the next day to get the rest of it. Fortunately, we had the extra time and our buyers were not moving in the day after we moved out! Also, the estimate turned out to be double, since they charged for everything twice for the two trips.

I'm giving 2 stars because the guys who moved our furniture and boxes were very careful and did a great job. 3 stars are withheld because something happened in their storage facility where most of our wood furniture was scuffed, scratched, or marred and several items were lost. I imagine if you are only doing a one-day move from one home to another, they are a great company to use. But under no circumstances should you let your possessions out of your sight. Do not let them unload into their storage facility, then load into a truck again for delivery to your new home. Josh, who manages that area in the company, found only one of our missing items. I told him about all the other damage, expecting him to do the right thing and give me a refund of some amount to make up for it, or to send someone to repair, but neither was not offered.

I recently moved into a beautiful new home. However, my actual moving experience was a nightmare and will now end up in small claims court. Do not under any circumstances use Mr. Mover of Fort Myers, FL. Not only did they absolutely ruin several pieces of furniture, many valuable items are missing. I repeat do not use Mr. Mover of Fort Myers, FL!!! They don't even deserve a one star rating!!

I regret hiring this company, they broke my flat screen tv, 2 bar stools, side table they dropped without telling me it just happened i saw it when they drop the table and floor lamp missing. I only received $220 of all the damages and i paid the company $1,800 for moving our stuff. We moved many times but this was the first time our stuff got messed up. Just be careful and get the insurance when you hire this company. We're not happy at all.

This is a follow-up to the previous review below. I spoke to Josh at Mr. Mover regarding the issues I mentioned regarding my move. He listened to everything I said and was very apologetic. He said that my experience was a very rare one. He sincerely wanted to make things right, which he did. There was no argument, nor excuses. I will definitely give them another try because of his great follow-up customer service.

It was December 15, 2017. I moved maybe half a mile down the road in Ft. Myers. The contract you sign pays pennies on the dollars for any broken items caused by the negligence of the movers. They broke my 55†Samsung HD, 4K television. It cost me $1,400 to buy, and they offered me $30 something dollars per their contract (they go by weight). I write this review a year and a half later, as I've officially

It was December 15, 2017. I moved maybe half a mile down the road in Ft. Myers. The contract you sign pays pennies on the dollars for any broken items caused by the negligence of the movers. They broke my 55" Samsung HD, 4K television. It cost me $1,400 to buy, and they offered me $30 something dollars per their contract (they go by weight). I write this review a year and a half later, as I've officially Given up on getting anything that I am owed. We negotiated $100 as repayment for the mover's negligence in destroying my property, and still to this day, after about 15 voicemails and numerous conversations (as well as direct communication giving my new mailing address and being told it was being shipped), I have no received my $100 as consideration for this company's destruction of my property. If you have anything expensive that you need to move with, do it yourself. God forbid you had a portrait or personal item worth a ton, but only weighs a few pounds. Incredibly shady business dealings that makes you pay hundreds of dollars to move and then let them keep most of it while the movee is out over $1,000. They recommend buying additional insurance, so you can spend even more money on the off chance this company's negligence destroys your property. Go elsewhere. It was quite possibly the worst day of my life made worse by negligence and poor customer service, breaking my things and keeping the "fruits" of their labor. They wouldn't even meet me halfway and just refund the price of the move (around $330). They guaranteed this rarely happens, then as a company, it wouldn't be a big deal to help their customers.
