This used to be the best store until recently. So run down, the bathrooms never work, the employees are on their phones, the lines are very long because they don’t want to work just send you to self check out while they have 4-5 people just standing around chatting. Even the lady at the dressing room just sits on her phone. The whole store is dirty and not taken care of.

Spanish version
On Sunday 05/19/24 I went to the Ross store in gulfcoast town center Ft. Myer at 8:00 Pm with my mother and I to buy some personal clothes, I knew that we were close to the store's closing time, in fact they were missing I think about 40 minutes, we were aware that the search and purchase had to be quick. I found some dresses and my mother ordered me to try on the dress I chose, so I went to the fitting room and they told me it was closed. Then I went to the bathroom and with the intention of trying on the dresses, I saw the possibility of entering the bathroom because some children came out of the bathroom and I knew that it was not the most appropriate thing but I had no other option at that moment. It was then that one of the employees followed me into the bathroom, she told me that I couldn't bring clothes to the bathroom, but she said it in a rude and derogatory way that I felt offended, I didn't say anything to her at that moment and I turned around and he murmured something. I was upset by the actions of the employee. I went in another direction so as not to confront her and the employee where I was going followed me, she chased me as if I were a criminal. When she saw me talking to my mother in the store, she was the employee. She starts accusing me in front of my mother that I got in her face and offended her and that I had called her a bitch, the manager immediately appeared saying that she had heard me offending her employee which is not true! And that she was going to call the police. I told her that she could call whoever she saw fit, even the president if necessary, that doesn't scare or intimidate me! Because ? My mother responded: My daughter and I have not broken any laws. The employee continued to accuse and became more aggressive. I told the manager that I didn't want to talk to her employee that I was going to fix it with the store manager on duty. The manager told the employee to start following me in the store as if I were a criminal outside, but nevertheless she continued yelling and accusing my daughter. I told him that this was harassment and that I would press charges! The manager insisted to the employee that she go away and leave us alone. I explained to her that if my daughter had made a mistake, we were human and that I apologized for changing her clothes in the bathroom because the fitting room was not available, but it is not a reason for a person to go to jail for that reason. I explained to her that what I did not want was to return the dress and that her employee had no reason to harass my daughter in that way even when she was giving me the information ℹ️ so that I could file a formal complaint, this woman appeared again and continued insisting on provoking me to I had a violent reaction with her to see if she would take me to prison, she insisted and I told her that I didn't want to talk to her anymore and if she continues doing it, I was the one who was going to call the police. “I felt harassed by this woman and really nervous for the safety of myself and my daughter,” my mother said. I also told the Manager that his employee didn't have to? Follow my daughter to the bathroom ? which is a private place by law. The employee should have waited for my daughter to come out of the bathroom and she would file charges for it because? They do not train their employees well and teach them US laws ??. That it was very unfortunate that this was happening and that I felt very offended and that the most that affected me was that this person is Latina, which was not the first time that this happened, they generally look for Latino people from other countries, but Cubans are not all of them, but They have always caused us these types of problems, the companies that employ these types of people and do not enforce American laws are the ones that will be responsible that employ these types of criminals, why? No one has to be discriminated against because of their origin, skin color, nationality, political party.

Why have self checkout if no one is there to take off the alarms ? So you pay, got to leave and the alarm beeps and then security acts like he “has” to look at your receipt while he takes the tags off. Lol what a joke. I’m not stealing pjs. Then I say “ omg” and he goes” i know” like excuse me? If you know fix it!
