i was happy with the screens until i needed them repaired and they told me it would be 2 months before they could be here! yes 2 months!!!! and they are just a year old!!!

We placed our order for a roll down screen for our back lanai on May 5, 2023. It took 3 months for the install due to missteps on the staff's part in filing for a permit. During this 3 month waiting period, there had been no contact from Storm Smart to me, the customer. When I finally called in August to check on the status and to find out why it was taking so long, Debra Rivera advised me she would check into it and get back to me. Debra did call me back to share that the "office person just stuffed applications into a drawer and had not filed for any of them and that in researching my status they identified this issue". She said that they would have Ashley, the account representative, file for the permit that day and it takes 24 - 48 hours to obtain the permit and then they would contact me to schedule the install. Three days later after receiving no call from Storm Smart, I called to inquire if 1) they received the permit and 2) when would the install occur. I was finally provided an installation date of 3 weeks later. The install finally occurred in August of 2023. As of today, January 16, 2024, we are still waiting for the final inspection and the completion of the install. I called on January 8th or 9th, and received no return call to my status inquiry. I called on January 11, 2024 and was told that the installer just needs to take photographs of the installation and submit them to the inspector. I was told that someone would be at my home on January 12, 2024 to do this. No one came and no one called.I called the office on Monday, January 15, 2024 and was told that Debra Rivera would return my call. No call was received. I sent an email to Scot Burris, Chief Executive Officer and Dave Erlechman, Sr. Vice President of Operations with no response.While I appreciate that my purchase may be small and insignificant to those who are supposed to be servicing my purchase, it is not small and insignificant to me and honestly, it should not be to those who are leading the organization and servicing the customers either. At the end of the day, actions or lack thereof have shown that we are not on anyone's radar for follow up and completion of a job that they have received full payment for.I chose Storm Smart because my employer uses them (Largest CCRC in Florida) and I was told they have great customer service. I must have drawn the short end of the stick because not only have I not received this so called great customer service but I have had to beg for every level of service I have received so far.To date, I still await completion of a job not finished and a permit still open. I've left another message for Debra Rivera to return my call today.....2 hours and counting....no response.I'm guessing we should change our names to Mr. & Mrs. Insignificant as this is definitely how we are being treated.

I will start with the fact that Storm Smart was the first company to arrive at my home after Hurricane Ian, 4 days after the hurricane! My screen was damaged but not enough to cause any damage to all the furniture and plants that we had stuffed in the lanai area. The product itself is excellent as well as the quality. No complaints about that. It did its job and did it very well! We did obviously need a new screen though and they put the order in. We also needed some reinforcements on the ends and the center. I will not deny that there were issues along the way. Some missed appointments and some that they could not complete due to a lack of supplies. I get it! We just had a major hurricane and everyone was being pulled in all directions. In the end, Justin, made everything right! I believe his title is something like Director of Operations/Services??? Whatever his title is, he made us very happy customers when all the repairs were completed. I highly recommend them because their product is excellent and they will get the job done, even it it might take a little extra time.

This is my second Storm Smart screen, thanks to hurricane Ian. I would not live down here without one. Mike and his son did an amazing job. They were at my home at 8 o'clock as he said they would be. Mike was very thorough in explaining everything to us and answering any questions we had. They were extremely polite and very professional. They did an amazing job at cleaning up after installation. He and his son would be the only installer I would want at my home.

DO NOT USE STORM SMART if you ever need service!! I waited 6 weeks for an appointment to have it cancelled by a phone call at 4:00 that day!!! The man said I would probably be rescheduled for next week but they would call me. When they didn't, I called and wAs given FEBRUARY 9 as my service call!!! It is not my fault they ran late on the installation project- I am just as important as an installation but obviously not! !!!' Use anyone but this company ! ! And to think I was going to talk to them about hurricane windows !!!!

Getting an answer from someone that works there is like pulling teeth. They are over priced.by nearly 50% stay clear go else where for your windows and doors and hurricane coverings. Safe your self the hassle. And stress and MONEY!!! And definitely don't use their service through Home Depot. Also x employee that still can't get her personal belongings back . The management won't answer the phone. Or reply back to emails. Such a shame it has come to this.No stars if I could.

I could not get the service dept to return my calls for over a weekFinally spoke with them todayMy installation was scheduled for last Friday change to Last Sat. Change to last Monday , Monday they didn’t show . Called all week with no return call. Finally today I called their accounting dept and twice asked them to walk back to service and insist they talk to me.That worked , but now I’m not scheduled until next Thur.I don’t know how the product will be when it’s installed, but working with their scheduling guy, was very frustrating

Great company during the sales and quotation processes, but the deeper into the project, the worse it gets. The products are wonderful, and that's the only reason they get 3 stars. Great installers, I believe, but they don't stand a chance against the shoddy work the inside people do because two and three attempts to get it right make it difficult for the installers who have to face the customers. I'm still waiting for inspection after the job finally completed a couple of months ago. Was told the people who do the inspection have 48 hours to contact me by phone. Has not happened, and I don't expect it to without more phone callsI have recommended Storm Smart to friends and neighbors multiple times but won't do it again. The disruption caused by Ian isn't a valid excuse anymore, nor will their standard Google reviews response: "We can't find a record of you with the name in this review. Please contact us . . . . "

I have 6 motorized screens which I am very happy with however 3 of them won’t operate and go down. I called for service and they said it would be two weeks before they would even call me back to set a service appointment. I now have a service appt and it’s another two weeks. I think a month is unacceptable to wait for a repair. I can no longer recommend them based on their lack of responsiveness. I can hand crank them but they are 11/2 stories tall n too heavy.

We are very happy with the service of Storm Smart. This is the second time we have dealt with them and we've found both times, they are professional and the work is completed to our satisfaction. Special shout out to installer, Dylan, who was very competent and courteous.

Had storm curtain installedyesterday.wow wow ! Great looking matches house. I lucky got Brandon for install. True craftsman , great personality. We are a month early 8 ,weeks total.nice job.

Friends recommended Storm Smart so we had a rep over to do an estimate - nice enough. When I asked about screen warranty he replied it was "lifetime". A day or two later I called the rep to ask exactly what this meant but received no return call. After a week I e-mailed the same rep and again - nothing! I cannot consider this a company I would want to do business with.

I finally have my storm screen and the wait for installation was well worth it! It is a beautiful addition to my home! Marc was always responsive to my calls and Mike & Jr. were a dynamic duo during the installation. Thank you so much!!!!!

I am waiting on someone to get back to me to schedule an electrician to finish the install, I was very disappointed that one showed up without giving me notice as I work and could not deal with them when I had 8 hours of meetings. When someone is paying as much as these screens are the customer service aspect should be 5 stars.Still waiting on someone to get back. Do not buy these people. These reviews must all be fake.I have had the worst experience ever getting my storm smart hurricane screen installed and for what I am paying for the customer service aspect should be 5 star.I was called to have the screen installed on the 5th - which they did but could not finish because the cover was incorrect. Nothing has been done to follow up on this. Then the electrician just showed up out of the blue. I was never told someone needed to be in my house and I had 8 hours of calls. I could not deal with him and my work. So we scheduled them to come out today, the 16th. At 3pm I called and asked for an ETA and had to leave a message. Shortly after she returned my call but she did not have and ETA nor could even get in touch with them. I then called at 4:55 and asked for an ETA as I assumed no one was coming and I have things to do. No one was going to bother and call me and tell me they were not going to show up. They just were going to miss the scheduled appointment completely.
