I purchased a $120 shirt for my husband and while it was in the care of one your employees it was stolen. I tried to get a refund and you refused. Poorly run company. Wouldn’t recommend.

I am so glad I found Style Encore! My go-to for all of my clothing wants and NEEDS! I love that they help while I am shopping by putting my favorites in the dressing room for me. It’s the little things. :)

I think this is a great place to shop - I’ve found some really good deals here. If you’re looking to sell, though, if you’re the sort of person who doesn’t mind selling things yourself online, I’d recommend trying that first (these two things may be related! Deals might be less good if their buyouts were higher). I brought in some items I was looking to sell and was surprised by how low some of the quotes were - e.g., a Chanel sweater I ended up selling myself online for ten times what I was offered here; a pair of Prada sandals I think they offered me like $35 for (or something like that) I sold for $175. There’s value in not having to do anything but drop your stuff off, but at least for higher end items, I’d recommend thinking about trying a direct resale platform first.

I used to come to this store all the time when the blonde woman with the son (who worked w. her occasionally) worked there. That’s when the store was best. I’m not sure how often people drop off decent items but the past few times I’ve gone into the store the options are mediocre, overpriced, and I’ve walked out empty handed. Today I tried on a few items and they did not fit so I wanted to walk around and browse some more to see if I could find something else. The girl asked me if I was finished w. the dressing room and I told her no I may come back w. a few more items. When I came back a minute later mind you my name was erased off the door and the door was locked. I looked around for the girl and she was at the register on her phone. I put the items back and walked out the store. If you consider this a higher end secondhand store, it would be best not to hire girls who look 12 years old who text on their phones while they’re supposed to be helping customers. It’s not goodwill. The vast majority of the clientele in this store come in to sell and spend money. Lately the store just overall stinks which impacts customers bringing in decent sellable items. Very disappointing.

i absolutely love this place! Ive been going to this store at least once a month for the past 7 years and the pieces I have found are amazing. Vintage Chanel, fendi, Prada to name a few. Not to mention dresses I've found with tags still in tack never worn for special events. staff always remembers me and is very helpful and professional. Store and restroom is always very clean.

I used to be a fan of this Boutique, but just recently I had a bad experience with one of the sales associates. I was politely asking if I can take a look on one of the branded bags on display on the top shelf, BUT SHE TOLD ME I CAN TOUCH IT IF I CAN SHOW HER MY ID TO ASSURE HER THAT I WILL NOT GRAB AND RUN OUT OF THE STORE ONCE SHE HAND THE BAG TO ME.... wow THAT WAS SO UNKIND AND DISRESPECTFUL..... since I was raised from a good family I never reacted violently but stayed calm and told her "nope, I AM OFFENDED WITH THAT and even if I so like that bag and can afford to buy it i just have to leave " .....I even told her I have bought a few branded items in the past. I was so upset and promised to never visit that store again. If this is a company policy I could respect that but say it nicely and in a professional way. I have to write this review so management will be aware and somehow train their staffs to be kind and respectful.

Selection is decent but selling your items can feel like giving items away. I recently sold 6 or 8 items and only made $60..all great brands like coach and Madewell. But if u need to get rid of things it's fine.

I found out they took clothes in for cash. So, I gathered up a bunch of things - two Ralph Lauren jackets, a hardly worn blue satin dress from Bonwit Teller, a few Johnny Was tops and some classy sweater tops I got at Neiman Marcus. Not shabby at all. Well, I was told they were used, or their word was worn. Of course they were! Well made clothes stand the test of time!! But noooo! They wouldn't take them! I had used them! Heavens! All the associates there are young, very nice and polite. BUT, they are not that knowledgeable about fashion. During my working career I bought "preppy" clothes that didn't go out of style and they always looked tailored and I felt good in them. From now on I'm taking my clothes to some church who will distribute my still wearable clothes, to people who will appreciate them. The above is my own opinion of Encore store.

I love shopping here and selling here , although just because i am not an older woman who dresses classy and like they have millions , i get treated so different by the employees. I sold a few items here just recently and they didnt text me when the buy was ready even though i explained to the lady helping me that i had my baby in the car and couldnt wait inside. I never got a text so an hour goes by and i go in and it had been done for a while… i say have a good day when i left and just got completely ignored. I dont understand if its because i look 16. The first time i went in there the employee tried telling me this store wasnt for my age group even though i was 20 at the time. The employees are very judgmental and rude. Just because you look young they assume you have no money and no reason to be in their store. The staff needs to be talked to about how to respect everyone of their customers and not the ones who come in with designer on head to toe.

I have shopped at this establishment for several years. Sadly, the owner no longer has a presence in the store and her customer service has been relegated to a handful of rude and disrespectful teens and young adults. I know how the store is supposed to function because my daughter worked there years ago. Don't bother to take your resale items in to the store as they will not be considered for purchase by this crew of individuals, particularly if it is change of shift. I was told that it would take 30-40 minutes to go through my items. I wandered through the store and observed the counter. My items were moved from the check in counter to the check out counter in a few minutes. Never even looked at them. Most had tags on them and many were purchased from this particular store. I never received a text stating that my items were complete. One of the young women was too busy shopping for her own items, texting on her phone and being incredibly rude to the other customers. I watched as other individuals suffered the same experience. It was clear that the two behind the counter were lazy and just couldn't be bothered to expend any effort. I left the store to run an errand down the street and returned to find my items in the same location. The blond shouted to me from across the store and said that I could take everything back stating, "She looked at it and said there were marks on it." Really? I was born during the day, but not yesterday. I used to frequent this place of business and recommended it to many people. No more. I won't even step foot in it. Furthermore, I will discourage people from going there. It is a shame because Carolyn is a great person. It is too bad she and her store are at the mercy of this motley crew.

I like that you can sell your stuff to this place and they give you around 50 percent of what they will sell your designer purse for! Very small selection of LuluLemon. It’s a clean spot for a consignment store and not too pricey!
