I would not recommend TruForte to anyone. The broker I had basically sat around waiting for someone to call him to buy my business. 4 days before the contract was up , we got an offer. Nearly a year later , the business still didn’t close after 5-6 addendums and the financing fell through. This tied up the sale of the business for 10 months! Laziness and unprofessional not to mention lack of knowledge in the industry he was trying to sell. I’ve moved on to a more reputable company.

Great insight, great service. We worked with Tom Davanaugh. We had a potential deal in another state that he wasn't involved in and he didn't pressure us to take the one here in Florida. When we ended up going with the Florida opportunity, he was a great resource for us as we prepared for the acquisition of this company. He also never pushed us into acquiring the real estate associated with the business even though that'd have been more commission for him.
In total it was 6 months from when we first met with Tom to when we acquired a company and were very happy every step of the way.

I did do business with Truforte and I would not recommend it to others. The agent we worked with only had his commission in mind. It was a very poor experience overall.

I inquired about a business for sale. I called and left messages 3 times, and even signed an NDA ( I also had to call and follow up on this). And no one returned my call, not once. Needless to say, I am moving on. This is a poorly managed business and feel as if the individuals that are trying to sell their businesses are certainly put at a disadvantage by working with this group.
